I needed 3 closets systems built in a new home. I was referred to Robin by another business from Yelp, and came highly recommended for the job. She indeed met that high standard of referral and professionalism. I contacted Robin to schedule an appointment for an estimate of the closet work needed. She promptly returned my call, and Robin mentioned would also be bringing her experienced associate that does the cabinet work. Robin showed up right on time, assessed all the spaces and asked a series of questions to best sense how each area would be used, on a daily basis. She had wonderful ideas on how to build the most practical closets for my family. Also her associate brought all wood samples and color choices that day, so I could decide what materials would look best in each area. Robin spent a good deal of time ensuring the drawing/designs would be best suited and what we were looking for in the project. She followed up quickly, only a couple days later, emailed the 3 closet design and bids. We went with Robin's wonderful designs and ordered the materials. A few weeks later, closets were installed and Robin came out to oversee the project and even took me out to a few stores, in order find the some handles to match the drawers installed. Everything looks wonderful and I can't recommend Robin enough! She also has a brilliant mind for organization and ideas of how to enhance a home's layout and usage. I'm a bit envious of her skill set, in being able to imagine and see possibilities for living space, many I would have never otherwise thought of before. I'm so happy I found this service on Yelp and highly recommended it if organization is not your strong suit. I needed help setting up my classroom this year and I was unable to secure my usual family volunteers. Robyn also helped me clear a ton of clutter along with papers I had let pile up after a tough year and some health issues. I purchased a Groupon for 2 hours of organizing and found it very easy to book an appointment with Robyn. Although we had to go back and forth on email and the phone to find a time that worked best she was always prompt in getting back to me. She let me know ahead of time that her associate Lindsey would be handling the appointment and even confirmed the day before. I was completely happy with Lindsey and loved her bubbly personality and take charge attitude. She was even great with my 2 and a half year old son who kept trying to "help" us. All in all I wasn't sure what to expect but was very happy I had purchased some clear bins ahead of time so we could just roll up our sleeves and get to work. I kinda expected her to give me more ideas than actual hard labor and was pleasantly surprised when she was able to take my attic from shambles to an amazing space where I can now see everything I have plus have tons of room to walk around. Sadly I never got to have Robyn's expertise because of a serious lack of communication on her end. I purchased a groupon. I am not sure if this is why she did not reply to me initially or when I tried to reschedule- it was $69 for 2 hours which she claims is a $200+ value. I tried contacting her via phone and email 5 times before getting any kind of response (which I documented). So I finally got a reply from her (only via email, she has never returned a call) and made an appointment 6 weeks in the future (her earliest appt.) That was fine- she must be popular. My mother got ill and I had to travel to her so I cancelled with her with giving over 48 hours notice and asked her about rescheduling next month or whenever she could since she evidently gets booked up- I waited a while- then I also called her- No reply. When I send a email after giving her ample, ample time to reply. She then tells me the groupon has expired- Well I was waiting for YOUR reply to my calls and email and you never did. So she tells me basically "too bad" even though she acknowledges that she did get my email but that it's not her responsibility to reschedule me?? Um, how else is that going to happen? I can't do it myself and teleport you to my home whenever I want. She'd need to reply and give me an appt time!! Very disappointing.
