I have worked here for about 3 months now and it has been such a great experience. The Residents and staff have been such sweethearts to me. The level of care and compassion is ideal for our loved ones to reside in. The type of care the residents receive is immaculate, from care providers to dinner. I don't think I have been anywhere else where the staff and management work so well to build a solid foundation for our elderly. There are also LVNS and Med Techs that help the residents thrive as well and overall have had an awesome experience with the wholesome care that has been provided. They also offer palliative care for those needing extra help. Another thing Worth mentioning is that they offer support groups and many activities as the elderly with degenerative diseases progress, their level of care also progresses and it's provided right next door at Villagio. Thank you Capriana for the amazing work. I hope to someday retire in a place like this.

We had an outstanding experience then, and I'm happy to say that Villagio remains truly exceptional today. After touring five or six different memory care communities, we knew right away that Villagio was the best choice for Mom. Years later, when it was time to move my brother, I couldn't help comparing his facility in New Jersey to the high standard I had seen at Villagio. For a couple of years, I worked closely with Sami Fox, Marketing Director, to make the transition possible. She was incredibly helpful, patient, and welcoming--inviting me to visit anytime as I navigated the process of moving him across the country. Though the move was challenging, it was absolutely the right decision. As we entered the doors to Villagio for the first time, with my brother, he was reluctant to stay in a new place. Tonya and Marilyn were there to take this burden off our hands and they relaxed him with conversation and a tour of his new home. The Villagio staff were kind and supportive as my brother slowly adjusted, which helped him settle in remarkably well. I visit often, and I can honestly say that every single team member here is compassionate and respectful. It begins the minute I walk in the door as I am greeted with a cheery hello and smile from Jan or Grace. You can hear it in the way staff speak to the residents--with warmth and dignity. The activities are engaging and varied, and the holidays are especially festive and joyful. A few times a month, families are invited to join special events, which is a lovely touch. The food is both healthy and delicious--my brother often raves about his meals and desserts. I see great rapport when staff deliver meals. Smiles and laughter are common. Communication is also excellent; Bree keeps me well informed through calls and texts, so I always feel connected. Choosing the right place for a loved one is never easy, but it brings me such peace of mind knowing my brother is receiving such attentive, heartfelt care. The Med Tech Team are all knowledgeable and responsive to my brother's and all the residents' needs. He tells me they are so gentle putting his hearing aids on each day. As a bonus, the other residents are delightful, and it's heartwarming to see them forming friendships and feeling safe in this caring environment. I'm deeply grateful to every member of the Villagio team for the meaningful work they do every day.

Shannon and Kaylee are always out and about chatting with residents, creating such a warm and connected environment. The special events they host bring families together and make the community feel vibrant and welcoming. They also went above and beyond helping my mom get ready for our son's wedding. They made sure she looked beautiful and felt special for such an important family moment, something we will never forget. The nursing staff under Neha are incredibly caring as well, always checking in on residents and helping those who aren't feeling their best get back out to participate in community activities and events. Their kindness and attentiveness make such a difference. Dan and Mark never hesitate to help, whether it's hanging a new photo or fixing my mom's bed whenever needed. Everyone knows the residents by name and treats them with kindness, patience, and genuine affection. On top of everything else, Bradford is extremely well maintained. Last year the entire exterior was updated, and this year they are installing new carpeting throughout the community. It's clear they continually reinvest back into the property and truly care about creating a beautiful environment for the residents and families. That level of personal attention and heart is rare, and my family is incredibly grateful for Ivy Park at Bradford.

She keeps telling us, "They are so nice to me here". She likes the food. Although for the last 4 days, she has wanted shrimp salad for dinner. It must be good. She has been getting great nursing care. They get her up with a lift and help her out with her needs. Mom has become more engaging with other residents and the staff. It has been good to see her brighten. My dad goes to visit two times a day, every day. Parking is plentiful and he has an easy time getting there.

Much to my huge relief, my parents are genuinely happy and thriving in their new community. They even participate in two standing dinners each week with their new friends! It's no exaggeration that there is truly something for everyone with lots of fun activities, special events, excursions, and many opportunities for residents to interact. There is never a dull moment, and every holiday is celebrated with much fanfare. My quiet, introverted mother has blossomed into a quasi-social butterfly. She can't stop talking about the friendly new people she's met. As a nature lover, she loves her evening walks in the beautifully landscaped grounds. My father enjoys his daily visit to the mailroom and loves chatting with Olga at the front desk who never seems to have a bad day. He's a regular at the gym. He enjoys reading each page of the Weekly Happenings and Monthly Monitor. Both parents love using Morningside's app to review the daily menu before heading down to the restaurant for their meals. The wine offerings are impressive and prices very reasonable! They did notice a slight decline in the food quality/menu options throughout the year, but they said things are starting to improve with the new chef and the switch to a new seafood supplier. The app is easy to navigate and makes entering maintenance/work orders/staff feedback a breeze. Whoever designed the app did a great job because the user-interface is smooth and very intuitive. This is a huge compliment since my parents aren't native English speakers! ;-) A friend from one of their standing dinners is transitioning from independent living to memory care later this month. The group plans to invite him to their weekly dinners as much as possible if/when their meal credits allow. I'm sure Morningside will handle the move with the utmost care and compassion. You can be sure I'll be watching to see how the transition goes and will report back next year. TLDR: If you can figure out a way to make it work, don't hesitate to make the move to Morningside. I'm so happy my parents picked Morningside and wish they hadn't waited so long to make the move!

As parents get older, they become kind of like toddlers, even medication is hard to control. At crescendo there's a community, a doctor, good food and activities. The staff makes sure my mom takes all her meds at the right time and makes sure she can shower and go to the restroom. All the staff are kind and patient. They check the trash like three or four times a day, and will check in on my mom in the middle of the night as well as the day. They even figure out her patterns on when she tends to sleep, need the restroom, gets hungry, etc. It's kind of pricey, but I wish this is the kind of care everyone can get. It takes a family effort but this place is worth it. It's hard to admit when you can't take care of your family anymore. I visit once a week and the staff tell me things that I don't even know about, I guess because parents speak differently to their kids than they do to others. I forgot to mention, there's all kinds of stores and restaurants nearby to take your parents to. You can walk over or push the wheel chair. Having markets, a cvs, and a target nearby was a big help when settling in and seeing what supplies you need.

And the communicatin, follow through, and resolvement from management regarding our concerns for our moms safety and other issues was very poor. Sadly, there were other issues as well during our moms time here. But Thank God she is now in a safe, clean, wonderful new place Sincerely, a concerned and loving daughter.

My has decided not to move out with any of us, we wanted to take her with us, we are all good children to her I promise ; but she decided that she feels so comfortable there that wants to stay. Better compliment than that of a resident having the choice to stay or leave and yet wants to stay can't be found.
