Bacon egg and cheese

I was charged 6.50 for a bacon egg and cheese on a roll, I expect bacon in it at least to fill the roll, your not getting your money's worth and they had the nerve to ask for a tip, if it wasn't the only place around while I did laundry i wouldn't go

I am from florida and visited my friend here in Ridgewood. This diner is so cute, I went twice on my visit. Isabella was so sweet to us, recognized and knew my friend who I was visiting, and the food was plenty for a good price. I got french toast with handmade cinnamon apples on my first visit that was mouth watering and then pancakes on my second that were even better.

I ate my grilled chicken salad AND had alot of salad left over. Very filling and tasty dressing

My daughter and I have eaten at the restaurant and ordered. I ordered a salad with grilled chicken recently. The chicken was tasty and juicy. The large salad (the pic is of leftovers) had avocado, red onion, cucumber, mixed greens, tomatoes and peppers. The panini sandwiches very tasty come with fries. The eggs in the BEC are so fluffy. Great spot for a tasty meal.

This spot looks like a family business, I had already ordered before for delivery, but this was our first time for dining in and am not disappointed, the friendly service, the delicious food, drinks and desserts are incredible thanks for the incredible experience absolutely we are going to come back.

Breakfast! French Toast with sausage and eggs

Great service!!! I went with my family on a Thursday morning and ordered the French toast and pancakes. They came with eggs and bacon! Delicious!!! Ordered some coffees which had 1 free refill, what a deal?! Overall, I highly recommend :) I'll be coming back.

Chorizo tacos, chicken taco, strawberry and banana smoothie.

Got the chicken and chorizo tacos and they were both very good. Fresh ingredients, friendly service (take-out), and generous portions. Also got a fruit smoothie and a couple sweet treats for later. One stop shopping! ;)

This place can be missed as there isn't anything to make it stand out. I happened to come across it…read moreas I was walking around the block. If you're in a pinch and would like to quickly eat some type of pasta that isn't fancy for takeout, this is the place to go to as there's no one really serving you. I walked inside, and there was no one to greet me. I think there's only one person working here who does everything. Once the person came out with someone's order, he explained everything to me, on how to figure out what to order and etc. I didn't really understand what he was saying, but I tried my best and repeated things back to him if there was a question. I followed the photos and what was written on the black menu by the wall. I ordered the small mama's bolognese. It is Reginette with marinara sauce with meat inside and has roasted garlic and parmesan. The employee asked me what size and if I wanted everything, or if I should alter anything. All in all, I'm not sure I'll be going back as the food didn't stand out to me.

Which disappointed me. We ordered spaghetti and meatballs, penne à la vodka with chicken, fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and mozzarella sticks. The best out of all of them was the mozzarella stick sticks. The service was OK. The place is small and there's only like four benches to sit. I did notice there was a sign that said there is more seating at Elio's. I do not really recommend this restaurant for its pasta if you're looking for something super savory. But if you're looking for something fast and filling then maybe you could give it a shot.

I am in this area often and I pass this place every time, but I hadn't gone in until the other day…read more My Brooklyn personality instantly took over. It's FRIGGIN AWESUM OVAH HEER. I walked through this whole place with someone else, giggling with glee. I saw meat bread (lard bread), I saw a deli counter with delicious cold cuts & ham nobody pronounces right, and homemade salads, and smiling friendly folks behind the counter, and fresh SMOKED mozzarella (motz), which I've been missing ever since I moved to Jersey. There was fresh meats, pasta, fish, and ring sausage, cannoli, and homemade sauces, and pre-cooked Italian dishes for the folks who wanna try it all, but not make it themselves. Plus bottled and canned items I remembered as a kid, and most straight from Italy. The whole place smelled like parmesan cheese, and felt warm. All that was missing was the sawdust on the floors. lol (yeah I'm old). I bought pasta, their sauce, smoked motz, and parmesan parsley sausage links and made a nice dinner for my friend, enough to pig out and store for another day. The meat bread was heavenly, and if they don't have it every time I enter that place, I swear I'll cry. Their homemade sauce was perfection, and the sausage??? FUGGIT ABOWD IT! I bow to you Iavarone. Go git whatever they selling, like NOW.

I've spent hours sourcing the best cappuccino in the Carroll Gardens / Boerum Hill / Cobble Hill /…read morePark Slope neighborhoods. And this is it. I haven't tried them all, obviously -- too many coffee shops -- but what I have tried, and come back to, over and over, is the products of the amazing team at Posto. It's not just about the skillfully made drinks or the balance of flavors, the fresh, Italian-style coffee or the filled-to-order Italian donuts and Maritozzos (iykyk) -- it's the overall ambience. You come here to put down the screen and enjoy the moment. So often do we rush through our coffees, or even bring them to meetings, at the beck and call of the city's hustle. But at Posto the kind, talented, customer-first team asks you to slow down and escape all of that, to savor every sip of coffee in the classic Italian style. Walking in feels more like a poem than a cafe. Gone are the transactional, disingenuous "how are you's" and instead you get to discover all sorts of fun barista (and bar) creations, Tuscan products, and fresh pasta. The servers and owner are always read to provide a recommendation, and like in Italian cafes, they bring whatever treats and drinks you land on to you. (My favorite aperol spritz is also from Posto.) Outside, the peaceful garden hosts two large umbrellas. It's vibrant, as if you're in a neighbor's backyard and they are willing to share a colorful moment with you, birds chirping overhead. As I finished the last drop of my cappuccino this morning, I realized that forty-five minutes had passed, and every sip of coffee was just as good as the last. Thank you!

The things I usually look for in a coffee shop: a friendly neighborhood vibe, a nice place to work,…read morea stellar brew, and perhaps a delectable snack to go with it. I don't feel like Un Posto hits the nail on the head for any of these. The menu is incredibly confusing--one part is on a chalk board, another is written under the countertop, another two are printed out next to the register and they all say different things without explanations of what any of the drinks even are. I spent at least 10 minutes letting other folks in front of me at the counter because I was paralyzed by choices I didn't understand, luckily the baristas were able to provide clarity on some of them. They have cocktails, coffee cocktails, coffee drinks, and several food menus. We came hungry, only to see the sandwich menu taken away because they were out (this was at 3 pm, and they close at 7). This is such a New York thing, but if you're selling cocktails and groceries until the evening, running out of mortadella sandwiches is not the same as when Radio Bakery sells out by noon... Maybe it's me but I'm not particularly looking to get a plate of prosciutt and burrata with my coffee (which is what they had left), and the sandwiches here are supposed to be amazing and were the main reason why we chose this place. We had come here to co-work, but saw that there were no laptops allowed, not even in a specific window, just period. I take issue with this because for some of us, coffee shops are vital spaces not to get sucked into the void of our screens but to write, share ideas, and work in the company of our support system. The coffee I got was an Italian iced coffee with no milk and almond syrup, pretty good but a smallish portion. My friend's latte was white, and tasted like foamy milk with just a hint of espresso... very odd. Usually that cool pretentious European vibe results in delicious food and drink, so I expected to be blown away, but it was just okay. Some of the higher-up staff are quite snippy, doesn't seem like the kind of place where if you're a regular people know your name and want to chat. The accusatory sign in the bathroom really says it all. The best part of this place is the gorgeous back patio, but it's harder to enjoy it when you've walked into a place that already makes you feel like you don't belong there, implying you're a toilet-clogging laptop addict who doesn't know any coffee lingo. I could see stopping in to pick up some fresh pasta and grabbing a cappuccino to go, but what's the fun in that?
