Been here twice and it's been such a fantastic experience both times! The instructor (Carmine) is…read moreso funny and keeps the class entertained while delivering helpful instruction. They start you off by collecting your food and drink orders and then the class starts! You learn how to make the dough from scratch, and then make a variety of shapes of pasta (all to take home)! It's entertaining and lots of fun- great for a bday! The 3 course meal after is delicious too, highly recommend the champagne mussels, and cavatelli pasta which has a nice bite (with any sauce, they're all good). I also really liked the lasagna! The donuts are also very hot and tasty. Overall a fantastic experience for any pasta-lover, definitely would recommend!

I already make homemade pasta, and this class reinforced my technique and confirmed I'm on the right track. You wait outside the restaurant until they call you in, then they seat you at a spot at the table. I went solo but ended up chatting with others; I never felt lost. The instructor circulated, was helpful and funny. The space was clean and well organized. You receive a set menu (appetizer, entrée, dessert) and you take home the pasta you make. The meal at the end was outstanding. Every course, from the mussels to the carbonara to the sundae, was packed with memorable flavors and beautifully presented. I was impressed by how delicious everything was, especially given the reasonable price. I cooked the pasta at home later: it boiled in about 2 minutes and paired perfectly with a homemade vodka sauce.

The bread displays at Milano have always drawn my attention. On one afternoon, my husband and I…read morefinally decided to try something from this market, namely, an item from the deli that we could pack for our Central Park picnic. There was a line, of course, there always is, and the wait was longer than what we were willing to endure for fare as simple and as common as a sandwich. It was worth the 20-minute wait. We ordered the Milano special, packed with cold meats, tomatoes, pickled peppers, cheese, and lettuce between two soft sesame rolls. It looked magnificent. It tasted magnificent. It was a sandwich to rule all sandwiches. I'd brave the line for that any day.

The staff is super nice and eager to help. It feels like a special neighborhood gem and you can really feel the family owned vibe. 1. Proscuitto burtata (amore) - fresh fresh fresh and quality ingredients. The proscuitto was perfect along with the burrata, arugula and balsamic glaze on ciabatta which was sweet mix. We were deciding on this one and the proscuitto tomato but we are glad we got this one! 2. Chicken caesar salad wrap- I think I could easily say this is the best caesar salad wrap i've had. The dressing was light and not overpowering with the mix of the chicken, croutons and outside wrap was a truly stellar combination. Very fresh and wasnt soggy one bit. the cookies: small black n white cookie, rainbow cookie and chocolate sprinkle and all were hits! my favorite was the black n white because the icing melts right off the soft cookie texture and tastes more like a cake than a cookie. All were amazing and is a must try when visiting. absolutely rec when you're on the east side!
