Go Gnocchi alla Vodka con Burrata

I ordered the gnocchi vodka Al burrata and it came in a cute takeout container. The worker asked if I wanted chilli flakes and cheese as well. It was sooooooo delicious and flavorful!! The portions are also deceiving, they are way bigger than it looks. The food was also prepared very fast and there was nice AC inside. There is no seating inside but there are two tables outside which is where I Ate, but unfortunately is not shaded.

Try: Al Pesto and Black Truffle Cacio E Pepe! Why: I was walking home and noticed this new restaurant with a line so had to try! I appreciate the simple menu specializing in gnocchi takeout. We tried the Al Pesto and Black Truffle Cacio E Pepe. Added Burrata on the Al Pesto, which was delicious. Basil Al Pesto sauce was light and flavorful. Burrata was creamy and rich. Black Truffle Cacio E Pepe was creamy, but I didn't love the chili peppers added on top. After eating the top layer with the chile peppers, each bite got better. Gnocchi was soft, chewy, dense and hearty. Don't let the small takeout container fool you because I was full! Notes: Small and cute takeout restaurant with one table outside. They just opened last week and seemed busy for dinner rush with online orders and customers in person. Al Pesto did take a few extra minutes but it was worth it. Workers were friendly and helpful. I overheard someone asking about ingredients for dietary restrictions and they were able to share exact ingredients. They also had gluten free option for $3 extra. I would like to come back to try the other Gnocchi! What a nice addition to UES!

Okay yes, this place was great. I waited about 1.5 hours to get some free gnocchi for the grand opening which, don't get me wrong, is a long time. However, there were so many people in line and many more who had to be turned away AND the air conditioning broke so I have so much respect and admiration for the staff who were serving us alongside such hot food (which was immediately made a priority of the owner, in a response to maintain comfortable working conditions for the workers). Thanks so much for powering through that. I have a decent patience tolerance when it comes to waiting for free food, but I will say, this gnocchi was genuinely worth the wait. The gnocchi a la vodka with burrata and Parmesan on top was super creamy, fresh, and the perfect amount of filling. Although I didn't pay, this would definitely be worth the $10.89 it would normally cost. Congrats to the team on the opening!

$9 gnocchi! They only serve gnocchi so you know they do it well. This is a casual on-the-go spot with outdoor seating. I've heard mixed reviews, but I thought it tasted really good! They also do a reward program if you sign up with your phone number.

What a wonderful concept! This is the perfect spot for a quick, pasta fix. Definitely only meant as a takeout experience, so don't expect a pretty plate. Food: 4/5 Price: 4/5 Experience: 3.5/5

Small shop, focused on gnocchi, as the name implies! I tired the gnocchi with pesto. They offered a burrata cheese for the top but I declined this time. They also suggested putting Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes on it. I don't think the pepper flakes went that well with the gnocchi. It was served in a box - looked like the size of box you normally get take-away rice at a Chinese restaurant. Initially thought this might be a small portion but it's very dense and I was full afterwards. Overall it tasted ok, but wasn't amazing: I've had various kinds of gnocchi before, this didn't have much background flavor and was a bit plasticky. Still, it's well priced and tasted ok. Give it a shot.

We live very close to this restaurant we ordered in yesterday. The food was less than stellar. We will not order from here again

Not what we expected. Gnocchis were just a package brand with their variety of sauce added to them.

I already make homemade pasta, and this class reinforced my technique and confirmed I'm on the right track. You wait outside the restaurant until they call you in, then they seat you at a spot at the table. I went solo but ended up chatting with others; I never felt lost. The instructor circulated, was helpful and funny. The space was clean and well organized. You receive a set menu (appetizer, entrée, dessert) and you take home the pasta you make. The meal at the end was outstanding. Every course, from the mussels to the carbonara to the sundae, was packed with memorable flavors and beautifully presented. I was impressed by how delicious everything was, especially given the reasonable price. I cooked the pasta at home later: it boiled in about 2 minutes and paired perfectly with a homemade vodka sauce.

Because the dough needs time to sit, they give pre made pasta sheets to make 3 different pasta shapes to make pasta at home! 5/5 for a cute and affordable date night. The servers were nice and helpful. There was cute seating and they also allow for groups to have family style dinner. The class also comes with 3 course meal. The meal was disappointing in terms of taste. The hot honey burrata was okay but a lot of the food tasted like grocery store ingredients. The eggplant parm has no taste outside of cheese. The spicy vodka sauce pasta was alright. Sauce tasted like grocery store bought jarred sauce. The doughnuts were fresh and the highlight. The brownie sundae tastes like Breyer's ice cream with brownie bites (which were cold) from Costco. I'd rate the food 2.5-3/5 as average (probably have more taste at Olive Garden). Overall 4/5 due to the pasta making experience and great service in addition to affordability.

There was a line, of course, there always is, and the wait was longer than what we were willing to endure for fare as simple and as common as a sandwich. It was worth the 20-minute wait. We ordered the Milano special, packed with cold meats, tomatoes, pickled peppers, cheese, and lettuce between two soft sesame rolls. It looked magnificent. It tasted magnificent. It was a sandwich to rule all sandwiches. I'd brave the line for that any day.

Proscuitto burtata (amore) - fresh fresh fresh and quality ingredients. The proscuitto was perfect along with the burrata, arugula and balsamic glaze on ciabatta which was sweet mix. We were deciding on this one and the proscuitto tomato but we are glad we got this one! 2. Chicken caesar salad wrap- I think I could easily say this is the best caesar salad wrap i've had. The dressing was light and not overpowering with the mix of the chicken, croutons and outside wrap was a truly stellar combination. Very fresh and wasnt soggy one bit. the cookies: small black n white cookie, rainbow cookie and chocolate sprinkle and all were hits! my favorite was the black n white because the icing melts right off the soft cookie texture and tastes more like a cake than a cookie. All were amazing and is a must try when visiting. absolutely rec when you're on the east side!

If you're in a pinch and would like to quickly eat some type of pasta that isn't fancy for takeout, this is the place to go to as there's no one really serving you. Once the person came out with someone's order, he explained everything to me, on how to figure out what to order and etc. I didn't really understand what he was saying, but I tried my best and repeated things back to him if there was a question. I followed the photos and what was written on the black menu by the wall. I ordered the small mama's bolognese. I did notice there was a sign that said there is more seating at Elio's. I do not really recommend this restaurant for its pasta if you're looking for something super savory. But if you're looking for something fast and filling then maybe you could give it a shot.
