I don't get my nails done often so I was looking for a new place to get French tips. I sent them a message on Facebook and they got back to me right away and was able to get me in the same day! I knew I wanted French tips but knew nothing about pink and white. They greeted me at the door and were patient with me not understanding the difference! It took about 30 mins. She asked thru out how I liked them, made friendly conversation. It's clean, bright, and oddly enough doesn't have the smell of polish. It was 35 for my French tips which is the best price I've found so far. The staff is nice and friendly. I will deff be back. read more

It's been two years since I got my nails done here. I asked for the $45 nail and walked out with the young child saying I owed $55. She uncharged me without approval. At checkout one of the ladies tried to make it right but the young child was persistent. I gave $45 and walked out. I hate leaving a bad review to a family owned business. Will never go here. I've never had an experience at a nail salons like I did at XO. I had an appointment for mani pedis at 2 with some others. We showed up a few minutes before 2 and immediately got sat at some massage chairs. One in my party waited about 10 minutes to get started, another waited about 20, and my pedicure didn't get started until 2:40. So I was waiting 40+ minutes. Finally I got started with my pedicure and my nail tech rushed through it. The whole thing from start working to starting polish took about five minutes, which is not what everyone else got. Everyone else got 20+ minutes before polish while I was done with polish in under 20 minutes. The manicure was relatively fine. I have a weird hitch hiker thumb and the nail tech made some rude comments and even tried to straighten it, which obviously caused me pain. She also went too far on my cuticles, which also caused me pain. I've gotten my nails done many times and I've never had pain with my cuticles. Overall I wouldn't recommend XO Nails. They don't seem to have a solid scheduling system and they have terrible customer service. The only reason I didn't give a one star review is because the bails themselves turned out pretty. read more

Nail tech seemed to not like my service choice and kept trying to get me to switch to gets and I really didn't want it. End result was ok but multiple times I had to ask the tech to check when it seemed something was sticking up and should be trimmed. Absolutely terrible experience. The place was dirty. When I walked in I was barely talked to. While I was getting my toes done two people came in to get their nails fixed which I know why because my dip is so thick that it's already coming off. I love love love this place. I have had several techs do my nails and they are all wonderful. LuAnn is great. She does an excellent job on my nails, especially shellac. She will remember your name and make small talk with you. One a Friday or Saturday she may even mix you up a margarita! Ann is a newer to this location. She did my nails (Attached dark purple and gold) while my regular tech was out. She is on the quiet side but, she did an excellent job on my nail dip! I love the shape. Lee is who I usually go to. I enjoy his personality and his personal touches to my nails. Not only is he a talented tech, he helps me make decisions on colors and designs. One of the unique things about this location is that it is always busy. They will work you in but, it is best to call ahead. As long as I give a 30 minute warning, they get me right in. Wait time was not long but when we were getting our nails done one of the techs who was doing our nails was on the phone with her insurance company and my tech was texting. This was all while they were actually doing our nails. Also, I asked her if the color I picked out was going to be white and she said yes . I should also have just checked myself , it was my first time getting gel, and I thought removing it would be hard, in hindsight I should have figured there Light made it hard to remove not just the nail polish .Needless to say, it was not white . I have never had a pedicure take less than 30 minutes. I don't have confidence in the cleanliness of the place either. She kind of cut into my toe, so I'm hoping I don't get an infection. New to the area and decided to give this place a try about 2 weeks ago. I called before going and was told a powder gel was $35. When I sat down I was explained that $35 was just for the powder dip, and it would be $40 if I wanted a manicure with it. Of course I want a manicure with it, why would I get a powder dip without having my nails trimmed and cuticles treated? I thought that was odd, a dip without a full manicure was never an option at previous salons I've been to on the East Coast. Anyway, the staff was nice and attentive. I left happy. 3 days later, my nail chipped and I went back and they fixed it happily at no cost. It chipped again a few days later, and about 2 weeks later one nail completely chipped off. I picked the polish and sat down and waited for 15 minutes and no interaction with me whatsoever. All of a sudden the lady says to me do you have a problem waiting another 20 minutes cause we are busy. They had four customers and four nail techs so it didn't look that busy but my issue is why would you make someone sit for 15 minutes and not say a thing and then tell them they will need to wait another 20 minutes when you're not busy at all. This is by far the worst nail salon I have been to in my 3 years of getting my nails done. I don't usually write reviews but this one was necessary. Right as a sat down knew it was a mistake. Very rough handling my nails as if doing my nails was a nuisance for her. I left with a smudged too coat on about half my nails, 3 cut fingers, and my last nail didn't even get a top coat... yeah I didn't notice that till I got home. It took me much too long to find this place, but I am so happy I did. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the facility itself is always clean. It's a very relaxing atmosphere. I was advised to try the dip and am so grateful to have taken that advise because my nails have never looked better. There are plenty of color choices and the process is pretty swift. The most expensive and worst pedicure I have received! I was happy to find a location open at 9:30 on a Saturday. I just want wanted a basic pedicure but they threw a menu in front of me and I picked the cheaper pedi at $30+. The entire process was focused on my calves, not my feet and the paint job at the end was streaky and they did even paint the entirety of my way sketchy pinky toe. someone referred me this place and said they were really good but that was not the case what i asked for was very simple and the lady who sat down to do it didnt know how to do what i asked for .. why would you sit down to do my toes if you dont know how to do what i asked for ? she was also very rude and couldn't figure out how to do it so she had to have another lady come over and do them as she was taking off what she messed up she kept burning me ! as a nail tech one of the first things you learn is to not burn your clients ! its caused from holding the drill too long or hard on one place on the nail the lady who actually knew what she was doing did a good job though and at the end of my service i complained about the nail tech who kept burning me ! i was told that its because i chose shellac polish and that if i don't wanna be burned i shouldn't get shellac.. thats literally the worst excuse ! what type of polish i got had NOTHING to do with the fact your nail tech was burning me because she clearly doesn't know how to do her job properly ! very rude , terrible service and experience will not be going back. read more

Went in with my daughter to get our nails done. I wanted a full set and she just wanted a manicure. She is younger and wasn't sure what to expect. The person doing her nails seemed like she was an inconvenience because she didn't know what he was doing. No communication, didn't make her feel like he even wanted to be there. She asked for a design and he did some pitiful designs, one of which smeared when he put the top coat on. He then took her over to the dryer and apparently told her she needed to do it twice, but never told her how to turn it back on or anything. She got up after one round and tried to come over to where I was getting my nails done, only for him to get huffy and puffy with her when he realized she only did it once. He wasn't even helping another customer, he was bsing with another employee. the lady doing my nails also acted like I was a major inconvenience, didn't hardly speak to me, and the finished product is sloppy. They weren't filed down or buffed as well as they should have been, she was rough and they offer a "complimentary hand massage" I guess while waiting for nails to dry, and she only did 1 arm!! She didn't even attempt to do the other. She got up and said, "okay, you're done." Extremely disappointed in how the whole day went for my daughter and me. And it was a lot more than I expected. I would have gladly paid it if they didn't do such a crummy job and had better customer service.
