He is a hard worker, and very honest. I brought my BMW 320i to oil and brake fluid change. The price is a little higher than previous years but he still does great job. If you got an dashboard alert, take your car to Mr. Xi. He knows BMW. read more

Absolutely amazing work, professional and service! Xi was by far the best and most honest person I've dealt with in my 25 years in Hawaii when it comes to my cars. I took my X6 in, explained the problem and he took care of it. He didn't try to up sale me, give me the runaround or anything; just straight truth! Amazing shop and I would recommend it to anyone with a BMW! He's definitely got my business from this point forward! Just awesome guy!! read more

Good communication with the owner, good service, price is justified. Would recommend.

Uncle Xi!! Such a character this man. Very knowledgeable of his BMW's. Been going to Xi for all bmw needs since 2009. This time around I went in and asked for a check on and service my O2 sensor and other miscellaneous things. Xi turned it over right away in 2 hours. This would take BMW 5 hours at minimum and half the price.. read more

Xi is someone who I can trust to care for not only my car, but also my wallet! He previously worked at BMW as a technician, so he's knowledgeable in managing BMWs and (because he runs his own business), he's not charging the standard BMW prices for fixes! read more

I took my car in cause my drive train light went out and he was so nice to tell me it was just an error message. Didn't charge me for checking my car and was able to take me in the next day. I got my battery changed here a few years ago as well. So far my experience has only been great. He seems very honest and doesn't want to charge you for no reason. read more

Thank you to a friend that recommended Xi when I told him that my battery was almost dead but BMW couldn't see me for a week. Scared that I might be stranded somewhere with a dead battery, I took it in on my way to work the next morning. I told him I was worried about the battery dying and he was nice enough to be able to take my car in, test it to see if it really was the battery, and if so, replace it. He also said that if it was something else, he would call me to discuss. Thankfully it was just the battery because I received a call 2 hours later saying it was ready for pick up. I would definitely bring my car back here for servicing! Also, he used to work at BMW before opening his own business so you know he knows what he's doing. :) read more

I recently took my car to XI, I have a 2015 BMW 328i. It has 110k miles so decided to have my transmission fluid changed. After he was done, he advised me the front right brake pad was thin. Asked him to please change it. I also showed him the video that BMW of Honolulu gave me with 7 " immediate need attention" problems quoting me over $6000. XI reviewed ( for free) and said they were all really minor. The dealer never mentioned my brake pads at all. WHF I really trust XI with my car and I will always take it to him from now on. He is fast, and very reasonable in his pricing. XI is very passionate about repairing his cars and only fixes BMW and Mini ONLY. I highly recommend taking your BMW cars to XI and getting a second opinion. ( A Must!) He's honest and trustworthy. He is my go-to mechanic for my BMW, should be yours! read more

We have a classic BMW e32 that we gave to my late father. He told us before he passed away to not to sell it. So, we kept it. However, due to his passing, we didn't use the car because of all the memories that he loved driving the car. Xi Tech took great care of the car. Honest, quality work, knowledge, and experience. I will be going to him now for all my BMW needs. Thank you so much. read more

I'm sad and pissed off! Brought our car here and was told that we needed a new engine. Come to find out all we needed was a tune up and a few new parts changed out! The car runs like new! Saved us over $15+ thousand dollars! Thanks for nothing! Not sure why we got such wrong advice but I'm not going to try and guess. M&M read more

The go-to guy for all repairs and servicing. He is always honest and gives the best prices. Quick turnarounds, just very highly recommended.

I cannot say enough great things about Xi. My transmission light came on in my 2017 BMW X3, my engine kept cutting out at stops. I called three different places before Xi said he would see me the same day. Thank goodness I didn't need a new transmission (15K quoted by BMW service) and it was only the battery ($600). Xi was courteous and honest with me. I HIGHLY recommend taking your out-of-warranty BMW to him for service! He is AWESOME!!! read more

Saw one bad review on here from someone called "Malachi," but I think it's fake. I take loving care of a 2001 740iL and am blessed to have the money to pay any price, but every time I've come here Xi has done literally the only things that are necessary, and has sometimes talked me out of doing things that would be profitable to him, but which he says aren't really necessary. Anyway, he's the BEST BMW mechanic I've had out of many (in three different states). My guess is that the couple of negative reviews here are based on personal grudges from people who aren't even clients, or are left by clients who don't know what they're talking about. read more

I took my BMW 328i convertible in because my AC wasn't working properly and it had a leaking pump. I also haven't been able to put the top down for several years because I was told I needed a new motor for the top and that it would cost $1,400. Xi was able to diagnose all these issues (something two other shops were unable to do) and repair them making my car like new again, which is nice as it only has 32k miles. I will be recommending him to all of my friends. read more

I have an old bmw and found this auto repair shop online and decided to call to bring my car for diagnostic and got so lucky to speak to the owner xi he told me to bring my car in right away. After getting my MINI Cooper S Countryman 2012 checked out at the BMW dealership on Kapiolani Blvd., I took my car to Xi for his assessment and got all the necessary repairs done for a reasonable price. When the check engine light came on the next day after the repairs were done, I took the MINI back to Xi and he was happy to troubleshoot it without much charge for labor. I'd recommend Xi Tech. read more

Honest, great advise and value info. Xi helped confirm my suspicion on my ignition coils and didn't charge me for taking a quick look at it. Will go there again and recommended. read more

Amazing experience. Highly recommend. I will be back. Very responsive. Punctual. Topped off fluids when I came in for something else.

Have taken my mini Cooper to XI Tech for about 4 years now. Always nice and helpful. He even provided me with a loaner since he knew that it would take more than a week to repair/service my car read more

My compliments to Xi Tech. Thankful that there are honest hard-working people that go that extra mile for their customers. This is my third visit and each time Xi has been super helpful. Priced three different places for my first repair, stopped by Xi Tech and the repair cost was 75% less. Others were trying to charge me so much for the labor cost but Xi was honest about the repair and took care of it in less than 15 mins. Second visit he was able to find the problem and fix in a short amount of time. Just yesterday the car died and had it towed to Xi Tech by Saigon Towing (another great company that saved me $ and time) This repair would of taken longer. Xi took care of the repairs and had it fixed in the same day with a great price. Car felt like it drove do much better. If you have a BMW, go see Xi Tech. read more

Today I brought my car in for diagnostic . The man that owns it took the car and run me over with my car , hit me with my car . Police came and ambulance . I had to go to emergency room . When He hit me i screamed he got out of my car and said " not again ! Every time " That' means that happens before He also didn't recognized me or acknowledged me or my appointment when I came in and I saw me 7 times prior to today and spoke to him many many times . Not only he didn't even apologized to me he is trying to charge me 1200$ for a sensor . He seem crazy like not there mentally It's really bad . I was crying all day I am alone here I couldn't work today and it's just so wrong The energy is so bad there they are not nice and negligent .
