Neue Auto is a rip off and I'm still so pissed off about this that I finally decided to post it…read more This incident actually occurred in 2023 when I had a Kia Forte, which I no longer have because the repairs that they charged me over $800 for were not effective. On top of that, they would not let me take my car home that Friday (because I worked weekends) or they were gonna charge me an additional $150 to RE-assess my vehicle AGAIN that Monday. So in addition to the $847.80 that they charged me I had to rent a car which costed me an additional hundred something dollars. My car kept dying as I was driving, and I had previously had a AAA read out that said that my alternator was fine. Neue Auto insisted that it was the alternator and the serpentine belt that needed to be replaced and guaranteed their work. I authorized them to do the work because they insisted they were the professionals, but this did not fix the problem. I attempted to remedy this with the manager and instead of doing things in writing so I could have documentation he insisted on calling and trying to smooth talk his way out of the promises that his business made. Needless to say I had to replace the vehicle. The reason that I am saying that they're a rip off, is not only because the vehicle was still presenting the same problems, but also because this is what they sent me as "proof" that my alternator was not working. Please keep in mind they never actually gave me this receipt for the readout, and it's stapled to a bunch of other receipts that I have no idea what they are. To sum it up, avoid Neue A uto or risk unethical business practices that don't actually fix your vehicle but still take your money. I would've given them zero stars, but that's not possible. *** EDITED TO RESPOND ** Fast forward to now - Like I said, I'm still so pissed off that YOU - Nick, owner/manager promised that the alternator and serpentine belt would fix my vehicle and it didn't. And instead of fixing the problem, you talked around in circles acting like your business doesn't have any obligation to actually stand behind its work. And I am certainly NOT contacting you again because you're a creep who thinks that you can get away with unethical shady business practices because you are the "professional." I stand by my statements and recommended people stay far away from your business. Not because you rip EVERYONE off - but because you rip off at least some of us. And that's enough for me to let others know they could be next.

I've never been here before so I wasn't sure if someone knew I was waiting since I had no appointment, per the phone call. Well, now I know to never come here.

He is knowledgeable, dependable, honest, and very trustworthy, all qualities that are so important when you're dealing with car repairs. Richard took the time to explain what was going on with our vehicle and what needed to be done, without ever making us feel pressured into unnecessary repairs. We also really appreciated the convenience of having a skilled mechanic come directly to us instead of having to drop off the car and arrange transportation to pick it up later. That alone saved us a lot of time and hassle. Another big plus was the price. We received three other quotes for the same job, and Richard's price was lower than all of them. Getting excellent work at a very fair price made the experience even better. It's not always easy to find a mechanic you can truly trust, but Richard is definitely one of them. We wouldn't hesitate to use 808 MOBILE Auto Repair again and would gladly recommend Richard to our family and friends.

Having it repaired correctly and safely meant everything to us. What was supposed to be a repair lasting just a few hours turned into a three-day job because new issues kept coming up. Throughout the entire process, Kaleo remained patient, honest, and committed to doing the job right. I stayed during the repair because I wanted to understand what was being done and he welcomed my questions. He took the time to explain each step and was completely transparent about the work and the challenges he encountered. In addition to providing exceptional service, Kaleo's pricing was fair and affordable. He truly embodies the aloha spirit, treating his customers with kindness, respect, and genuine care. Charles is the man! I had never used a mobile repair service before I reached Charles to provide a…read morefix for my headlamp. The brick & mortar shops were all giving me the run around and never could provide me with a quote to address the problem with my headlight. I figured my ballast was bad in the headlight however, it wasn't until Charles pulled the headlight did I see that rain and condensation had ruined the ballast and water literally poured out. The headlight configuration on my car didn't allow Charles to remove and replace the ballast without taking the plastic headlight cover off the car. Factory alterations are something he told me upfront he doesn't do, so we decide the best approach was to get a headlamp unit assembly replacement. Charles had quoted me a flat rate of $300 to replace the ballast which included removing part of the front bumper to access the headlamp unit in my car. Since he couldn't replace the ballast with the new one I provided, he put everything back together, charged me only $200 and told me he would come back out after I got the new headlamp and would only charge me the remainder of $100 on the original quote which I felt was more than fair since he essentially would be doing the same job again. I finally got the new headlamp assembly abut 1.5 weeks later, and texted Charles who immediately acknowledged my message and gave me a day he could come back and finish the job. He actually completed the job within 30-40 minutes and everything worked great, headlight is perfect. I can't say enough about how fair Charles is. He quotes you a flat rate for the services you need. He's a great guy, easy going and doesn't waste time, he gets right to work and gets the job done. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs mobile work at their home or place of business, I know I will be using him again. If you're tired of getting jacked up estimates from one of these shops and feel the inconvenience of having to drive to their place of business, Charles will bring his mobile services to you for a fraction of the cost!
