Honest and trustworthy shop and employees. I've been bringing my BMW here for at least a few years now. After moving back to the island, I had a hard time finding a reputable shop to service my vehicle. A&A was recommended by a friend, and I couldn't be happier. They are honest about what needs to be done and what doesn't, fair in pricing and aren't condescending in how they speak to women. Besides usual services like brakes and oil, I've brought my vehicle in urgently when it threw an error indicating I would not be able to restart it once I turned it off. They were so thorough in troubleshooting over mutiple days, and let me know that it appeared to be a fault with the HV system which they researched and let me know could still be covered under warranty, and then recommended I take it to the dealer. What great people! A&A is also conveniently located near Costco in Iwilei. read more

Very happy to have found these guys. If you love your BMW go to them. They are very reasonable on their pricing - came in 50% less than all the other competitors. Did a great job replacing my serpentine belt, car runs great. Will be coming back for more work soon! Their shop is filled with BMWs, that's their speciality so glad we have them read more

Awesome service with honest pricing. I would go back there to have my mini serviced instead of mini dealership.

I have been bring my 15 year old BMW to Tony and Albert for years and have nothing but praises for the great work and affordable prices. They do not do repairs that are not needed like the BMW repair center. Since Tony and Albert have retired, I have continued to bring my car for service and am very please with Allen and the other staff. Issac is also very pleasant and provides periodic updates when the car is in for service. read more

I always bring my car here for service now. Discovered them when my BMW needed servicing after the 3 year warranty. The staff at A&A Motor Werkes are all so friendly , honest and caring. BEWARE! DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE! Go to Bavarian Motor Experts instead. This WAS a great company with Tony & Albert, as the owners. I was a loyal customer for over 15 years. They've retired, & are NOT there anymore & boy does it show. The new owner Alan does not have even a minuscule of the experience they had. I feel ripped off, misled, and lied to. Isaac the office guy is also rude & unpleasant & condescending. They charged me $5500 for repairs that didn't need to be made because within a month they said it was transmission related and wouldn't be worth repairing. This is BAD BUSINESS, INEXPERIENCE, UNACCEPTABLE, & they should NOT be in business anymore. I'm finding out other a & a customers have had similar problems. read more

I have had several BMW's over the years and have used A & A for all the repairs and services. So sad to see Tony and Albert retire but they deserved to retire after working hard for many years. Happy to say that the new ownership is doing a great job and I will continue to use A & A and to refer my friends to them. Thank you A & A for your continued excellent service. read more

I was looking for another place to service mini coopers since not everywhere does. This place popped up when I was searching and I decided to try. My brake pads and rotors were suggested to be fixed by mini dealership which would cost $1,000 since it was rusting. I didn't want to pay 1k so I went here. Albert looked at it and said there's lots of life left for my brake pads and come back when the service light goes on. He also said they would charge me only about half the price when I needed to actually replace it. I also came on another occasion since my battery was dying and luckily they took me in that day and had the battery in stock! Took a hour to change the battery and $350. I appreciate their honestly and friendliness. I will definitely be back to take my mini here again! read more

A&A Motor Werkes - The waiting area/office - Auto Repair Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

I heard their Ads on the radio and decided to give it a try. I needed to add brake fluids, engine oil, and serves check for my beamer. Ryan gave me the price quote including a special $99 oil initially. Two hours later, he called and told me my car was ready and gave me a complementary oil change which was a pleasant surprise. He also suggested I should change my front break pads soon bc its down to 3mm. The person at the office was very nice too. Thank you for the reasonable price, fast delivery time, and the friendly services. I will definitely recommending you to everyone! read more

These guys are great. After having an oil warning light pop up I feared the worst for my 2011 Mini Cooper. This was a 5 star which has descended rapidly. Albert and Tony ran the business well years ago but the recent management shift to their younger staff has resulted in poor communication and results. My 550i had an air suspension issue. I brought it in, they "fixed it" by replacing the compressor. This took a week. It deflated a few days later. I brought it back. They inspected it for 2 weeks (no loaner by the way) and said it was fine and charged me for a "fault". A week later it deflated again. Brought it back they said it wasn't the airbags in the suspension as they inspected them twice. No call for 2 weeks. No car for me. Finally I call and ask what's going on. They said it was a compressor issue and they took it to bmw to warranty replace it. Bmw told them that it was the air bags in the suspension not the compressor. So they had to replace the air bags. When I finally pick up the car, I ask if they would credit me for any mistaken diagnosis and work (not expecting that they would). However, the manager gave me serious attitude and said they did the work that was needed. I said I probably would not come back because of his attitude and he said. "Good. Don't come back". This episode happened after another incident for my 750i the previous month. A cateye headlight was dim and I wanted it fixed. Before they would even look at it they said I had to order and pay for the headlight part. Ok no problem, just want it fixed. A week later they call and say, "sorry that was not the right part. But you cannot return it. And we will charge you around $700 on top of the part, though we were unable to fix it. If you want it fixed you need to but a new headlight unit for around $5000 plus labor" I really liked albert and tony. It's truly a shame. read more
