    Does anyone know if the Pacifica Comcast office closed for good?

    Yes, if you mean the one off Skyline.

    What's their store phone number?

    Can I come here to do changes on my account instead of being put on hold on the phone for hours? Like let's say I wanted to cancel my cable service and only have internet

    What time they close?

    8pm every day except Sunday when they close at 6pm.

    What are the hours of store?

    Monday through Saturday the store opens at 10am and closes at 8pm. Sunday they open at the same time, 10am and they close at 6pm.

    Can you just show up here or do you need an appointment?

    You can just show up and sign in when you go into the store. No appointment necessary.

Monkeybrains blows that standard out of the water. I've been using Monkeybrains internet for a little over a year now, which feels like the appropriate amount of time to decide whether the internet is good or if it's just pretending. In the past year I can only remember one outage that lasted longer than about five minutes. Compared to my previous providers, that already puts it way ahead. I stream, upload large video files for editing, and occasionally do some online gaming. Those are all situations where bad internet immediately ruins your day. Dropping a connection while uploading a 10GB video or during a dungeon raid is the digital equivalent of stepping on a Lego. Fortunately, Monkeybrains has been very reliable. I actually can't comment on customer service because I've never had to call them. Either I'm lucky, or the service just quietly works. The price has felt worth it and the performance has been consistently solid. Final verdict: the best compliment I can give my internet provider is that I mostly forget it exists.

Anywho, this review is for Monkeybrains. They are a local company (i.e. quick and easy to get someone on the phone if need be) and reasonably priced. You do have to provide your own router, so plan accordingly. Never experienced service interruptions or any other issues in the 2 years I had them as my ISP. Sonic, however, crapped out literally the same day the techs were done installing it. They also have to drill into the infrastructure, so now I have all these bolts sticking out of the walls, uglifying my kitchen space. Thanks, Sonic. (Go with Monkeybrains)

    They took over a well-oiled machine from Paxio and turned it into a fickle jalopy of internet…read moreservice. I never had this much downtime and maintenance from Paxio. The disruptions are frequent and too many times have made my home server unreachable while traveling. Most of the time the service resumes, but on occasion I've had to have a neighbor or relative enter my home and reset the connection for me. Super effing inconvenient! Also, there is no roadmap for connections faster than 1 Gigabit, even while even more worthless competitors like Xfinity and AT&T offer 2.5 and even 5 Gigabit. And lastly, they increased their rates a few months ago. They offered a discount if you paid for a year in advance, but offered no way to do that online. It wasn't until I contacted customer service, that they gave me the details of how to do so: by writing a physical check and sending it to a physical address, no ACH or Credit Card options (which are available to those who pay monthly). Like, I'm boomer AF, so I still have a few checks laying around, but who else in 2025 still has a checkbook? When it works, I'm grateful, but internet service is binary. I just need it to work. Always. And it doesn't. End of story.

In particular the manager named DESTINY! You may have seen her name mentioned in previous reviews and they are not exaggerated. This person should really be named DENSITY. She was rude and incompetent. As for her customer interaction, a dead fish would have a warmer personality. I don't know how Verizon tolerates much less keeps her there in a managerial position. But judging from my overall experience with them I.e. their online chat, over the phone call center agents and in person sales people, they really sell you the world and provide no follow up-- ABSOLUTELY NO FOLLOW UP to provide resolution for customer satisfaction. All I got was deflection and promises that the issue would be resolved... later. Not on the spot... LATER! How can they improve? If they want to improve, they should let AT&T buy them and let the AT&T teams handle everything. I cannot emphasize enough how anyone should not ever do business with them. Unless you are a masochist and enjoy being put on hold for an hour at a time and then constantly be told to " hold please." The other person you should avoid is Amir. There are two there but the one that should be especially avoided is "little" Amir. He serviced us and did not thoroughly process our contract. Now Destiny said it was not his fault. That means the fault lies with management for not approving the paperwork. So in conclusion, AVOID VERIZON LIKE THE PLAGUE!! They should have their licenses revoked and their business shuttered. And if there any lawyers who read this, they should consider a class action lawsuit against this business for disreputable business practices.

That's about it .. the customer service is horrible. The techs need to learn how to install properly. They tried to get me to switch my phone service, but like the other services they offer, it's only half-assed, they don't fully do everything, they only do just enough. I'd rather pay more with someone else, than be stuck with their phone service too ... because whenever you'll need help, there's not a REAL PERSON to be found! Only this a.i. that never understands the human element!! My recent internet problem ... they kept apologizing, but that's ridiculous .. it doesn't ever help anything! They needed to get my service back asap. Stop apologizing! Techs finally came out and didn't fully do the install .. only parts, so it'll probably go out again. We had a repair ticket open up for our house land line phone to be serviced because of no dial tone and one ring tone, we purposely cancelled ALL our appointments so someone was home for his visit because the house is equipped with an alarm, but he did NOT show up for the promised time. All our follow-up actions failed after numerous attempts trying to find out when he would show to make up for his "no-show". We finally got his report from the service department saying he had written down that he could not get to the phone box at our house as "a legitimate excuse", NOT TRUE at all because we WERE at our house all day that day!! We are leaving AT&T because of Jay-Jay and HE does need to be retrained fully to do his job ethically!!

Staff simply took their desk phones home, plugged them in to their routers, and got back to serving our patients without missing a beat. We are a mulit-office pediatric practice. Families rely on our call-center receptionists and our telephone advice nurses. In Feb 2020, we eliminate our relationship with our old phone service (one of the giants) because the cost was criminal, and the service was poor. FM was very hands-on helpful during implementation, setting up our new equipment, phone queues and autoattendents exactly how we asked. Then in March, the world changed. But our staff adapted immediately, largely thanks to our new FM system. With care-giving staff in the office, and everyone else at home, our internal and external communication continued seamlessly. And most importantly, we were 100% there for our patients to reach us, even during the most trying times. Fastmetrics has truly been a game-changer for us.

It's only about 15 feet as the crow flies, but there were lots of studs, joists, and built-in cabinets in the way. Both HOA CC&R and basic aesthetics say no to running cables along exterior walls - but that was the only solution the ISP installers were willing to offer. Enter Cable Shmable. Instead of giving a rough guesstimate, Karim came out in person to review the scope of work, propose a cable path, and provide a solid estimate. The very next workday, Alex and Yunus arrived to do the job. Having Alex and Yunus work on my project felt like being in a happy place. They showed up on time, brought all the right tools, gizmos, and materials, and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. Their cabling expertise was obvious as they masterfully navigated the fiber through every obstacle and got it exactly where it needed to go. When they finished, the work area was actually cleaner than when they arrived. As a finishing touch, Alex and Yunus are genuinely friendly, easygoing people to work with. They listened patiently to my layman suggestions, explained the intricacies of fiber optics, and ultimately proposed, and implemented, a cable path that was both technically sound and aesthetically pleasing.
