I unfortunately was given false information by Xfinity phone customer service line which resulted in me having to go in person to a physical Xfinity store. I was helped by Melissa at the Xfinity store in the streets of Brentwood. She was the one who informed me of the false information the customer service gave me and how they are unsure how to catch the phone customer service scammers. Although, I experienced this bad thing, Melissa was able to fix the problem easily. She went above and beyond to explain things, clear things up, and make things right. I left with a new phone as I was due for an upgrade and a satisfied customer. If you have to stop in to this store, make sure to ask for Melissa. She provides great customer service, very knowledgeable, patient, and truly listen to your concerns. read more

For the past two weeks there has been intermittent outages, connectivity issues, etc. with Xfinity. I have raised two tickets (CR237731685 & CR239106367) and after a day or two the issue went away and now it is back. I am a network engineer and have worked in Service Providers in the US and overseas. It is not challenging to escalate the ticket to the tier 3 group when the WAN is the issue. Rebooting a modem/gateway is not going to resolve that problem nor is offering me an upgrade going to solve it either - that is pretty funny actually. When you are hard connected to the gateway/modem and that computer is having issues anything connected wirelessly is going to suffer as well. Since I work from home most of the time and have video conference meetings it is very important that the package I have (it is the 1Gig package) actually works consistently which it has not been doing. Unfortunately the customer support doesn't understand it is an Xfinity problem that their NOC should be seeing and proactively resolving. Without doing to that you impact customers which results in them leaving for your competition. Lastly, for those that have providers outside of Xfinity, i.e. Verizon 5G, Astound, AT&T, etc. give them a go. Spectrum for example in SoCal actually responds and fixes problems when customers call in, etc. read more

My husband and I just came here to cancel our landline. Cassie greeted us upon walking in. She gladly helped us with the cancellation but since we have internet services with them, she checked to see about lowering the costs for us. She found a much better deal with promotions that included some services we pay for separately already so definitely saving us some additional money! We were in and out of there within 10-15 min. Overpriced and forced us to keep switching back and forth at the end of a contract. We were about to switch to Starlink but ended up with Sonic -- a smaller local firm out of Santa Rosa. Only $50/mo and it's not a teaser rate. Why can't xfinity just treat us better? Life is hard enough in the Bay Area with $500 PG&E bills, unheated restaurants, and general financial hardship. For the past three years I have been having some discrepancies with billing. When speaking to Representatives on the phone they make unauthorized changes to my account in which I later find out when speaking to someone in person I have been paying for a service I knew nothing about. When asking when the changes were made, all they have are the dates; no name of staff who made the changes, their ID# cannot be given, no time is noted or what was said by the customer/me. Only information listed per staff is I authorized/agreed to a change in service/updates. I presented my notes of who I spoke to, time, date and what was discussed, yet, Xfinity had no information in their computer system of the contact information. Something very suspicious is going on. They talk fast and deflect questions. I've always paid a monthly fee to rent the modem; $14.99, but while speaking to staff was told Xfinity no longer charge for modem; its included with my plan (Wifi service only; no movie channels). When this happened? Lol! The staff person could not give a date the change was made. FYI; you should no longer be paying for your modem; unless they tell you it depends on the plan you have; lol. Xfinity has been over-charging me and when I asked for my statements they told me I signed up for paperless. Another additional information they added without my authorization. Five requests or more was made by phone; only when I went in person I started receiving a bill in the mail. It took months. My advice is to have your bill mailed to you so you can visibly see the charges. Also, I will advise you to take notes in person or on the phone of who assisted you, their title, the date, the time and the conversation. Write your questions down and their answers; and write down the time the phone call ended. Xfinity has alot of complaints that are never solved. People either join another Wifi service (not many options) or just pay Xfinity's numerous financial mistakes made by their staff. There were elders/seniors waiting and being assisted when I was there and my heart hurts for them. I know they are on a fixed income and most likely trying to figure out, as I, why our bills are higher and what are all these charges on my bill that were not authorized. They are probably paying too much for Xfinity service; unless they are on SNAP or Medicaid. Xfinity will never; ever admit any over-charges or mistakes. read more

Most representatives are pleasant except for the African American associate-Tiana. She was hostile, rude and entitled during the encounter and will not hear you out. Things were explained differently by a previous associate that worked with us,so obviously we're confused. Tiana won't even listen and help us out. Kindness is free Tiana, you're working there as an associate, to answer questions customers may have , provide clarifications which you failed significantly. If you have no patience with a customer then maybe a customer associate is not the job for you! * With this review and customer survey/complaint I'll be filling, I have reason to believe she may retaliate. He helped me set up my wifi for my family as we are struggling to pay our bills and spent hours at night on his day off to make sure we didn't go another day without internet. Where to start!?! Maybe with the great and powerful OZ ... Oh, I mean the store manager Zack . He assisted another employee in writing a "ticket" in order to be able to set up my new series 11 Titanium Apple Watch with 5G cellular. This was Saturday and he asked us to come in following Tuesday and it would be ready for set up. Zack had dropped the ball and another guy helped us .. Wrote another "ticket" several hours we Were there.. they had to write yet another "ticket" tier 3 after another 3 hours of my time .. came back again another guy "chat" with someone on-line several hours we closed the placed staying very patient ( I mean there are so many things going on in the world right?) and asked to come back again since they put in another "ticket" in to engineering? He recommended another carrier. Came back again and Melissa ( she was nice ) was helping us Zack wouldn't come out of behind his curtain til we decided we wanted to move on to another carrier after yet another wasted hour. So now we want to cancel service and pay off the watch my husband bought 3 weeks before he even got $300 off for a coupon for being great customer . Get this...! They would no longer give us the $300 coupon because we were cancelling service! Wow! Really!?! Since we also didn't have the box.. why would we .. happy with the watch and service over the last couple decades.. yeah 20 years they wanted to charge $35 restocking fee. Awful customer service and they definitely need a new manager who can follower through with what he says - oh , in one way I guess he did .. made sure we paid a restocking fee! my 8 7 yr old sister and I went in to discuss her monthly charges. She was still paying the phone bill for a daughter who had passed a 18 mos ago. She had called twice in that time to cancel the phone. Still was being charged. The man sent her home with two Xumo boxes to replace Flex boxes - things she didn't need. She was being charged $20 a month for her "tablet". Absurd. I have three tables and pay nothing extra for them.l I kept telling her "you don't need that but she is very frail and doing her best to donduct her life. The next day her daughters took her back and cancelle3d everything except the cell phone and Wi Fi. She was paying #139 a month for cell coverage. I pay $35 with Cricket. She got it down some but as soon as she can muster the strength and time and money to buy a new phone I'm sure XFinity will be history. She was papying extra for Flex boxes for her tvs. I have three tvs. no flex boxes. This company seemd to be finding things to charge her for because she is old and doesn't understand about things in the cell phone / tv coverage area. Shame on them. read more

So about six months ago, I purchased seven phones seven lines. I purchased them on credit with Xfinity and receive the phones. I had to pay $15 which was cheap a month for each phone. Well, the service sucked. I kept getting drop calls. I kept missing texts I couldnt, texts. It just was bad in general. I will call and make complaints about how terrible the service was. Maybe I received a $10 credit here and there, but it was nowhere nearhelping. I then opened up a construction business where I need good service. customers will call me couldn't get through because Xfinity service was very terrible on top of that. I was paying almost $400 a month and $400 a month for all those phones and have service that bad was disgusting. The customer service also was terrible. I will call the way to India Mexico for xfinity help. which wasn't a problem. I'm a strong believer and helping third world countries However I think this is disgusting that Comcast uses foreigners for cheap labor instead of hiring in house, which is their own, and when they do have in-house in their own it is very limited the other thing is that one of the reps that I was talking to was telling me how cheap and how low budgeted Comcast pays the labor. I think it's disgusting. That a billion dollar company pays cheap labor to his employees but yet spends millions on politician and tries to advertise that they care about Black Lives Matter and the LGPQT people instead of caring about their own people, so that they don't have to live 100 miles away to afford rent. I think it's disgusting Xfinity/Comcast under budget is their people and also under budget their service. Their service makes me sick to my stomach and every time I saw my phone bill I would always have to go to the bathroom. The other thing is that I traded seven phones to Comcast and they promised me a credit. They promised me a $600 credit for each one of my phones, but they never gave me a credit. They broke the credit down within 24 months and that's how they gave me my credit so when I paid the phones off early, they never gave me the rest of my credit. They said that I was forced to keep the credit for 24 months which to me is bogus because I'm paying a $400 phone bill, which is basically like me paying interest. I think it's disgusting and it makes me sick to my stomach that a company would do that I will never get Comcast again in fact I've also canceled all of my services with Comcast and now I go with sonic And it's way better and it's way cheaper and they don't defecate on their customers. read more

I woke up this morning at 5:30AM. Turned on my TV. No cable/WIFI. With a message saying "doing a little household update".,,, something like that. I left had an appointment. Came back home, same message. Talked to a person that tried to resolve the issue from their office. Didn't work. Setup an appointment for the technician to come out tomorrow. Got a couple of texts saying the issue is resolved. No it's not. Then got a phone call. Stating my issue should be resolved. No it's not. Then I called back to make sure I have an appointment for tomorrow. The customer service person said my issue should be resolved. NO it is NOT!!!! This is what happens when there is a MONOPOLY!! We just had a Comcast worker come out to connect our Internet and cable because we couldn't figure it out. Lo and behold it wasn't us they have to come out and do something and he was very knowledgeable about it. He told me stuff that is basic knowledge that nobody's even offered to tell me before. We've had Xfinity for almost 10 years before not having it for five years and now we're back to cable and Wi-Fi again because everything consist of it now. With that being said Andrew has been the only one to tell me basic things about Xfinity and I appreciate him so very much he deserves a raise. Previously people have came out and just tried to push work off on other people because they either weren't educated on it or just plain and simple didn't feel like doing their job. Andrew on the other hand does whatever he needs to bends over backwards just to do his job he goes above and beyond and make sure his work that he does is clean and not all over the place just hanging wires ! On top of all that makes sure everyone is happy and knows what he's doing. Thank you so very much Andrew! Give him a raise ASAP! He will be the reason I stay I was about to give up with this being this difficult. But he made it so simple that he's the reason I'm literally staying with this carrier. So whoever trained him you did a marvelous job. Had the other guy that came out at least explain to me what was going on I wouldn't have been so flustered and confused on what I needed to do. I have Xfinity internet service and so far my experience has been excellent. I went to the local store to get my start up kit and everything went smoothly. The internet speed has been exactly what I am paying for, and every time I check it the speed has been consistent. So far no issues with the internet. Lastly the price for internet service is so cheap compared to other competitors. I've had a lot of service providers like sonic, at&t and I feel Xfinity has been the best so far! read more

Xfinity is joke! I moved from one location to another within 3 miles. The rep setup new service instead of transferring my old service! I was told there would be no early termination fee but they did and charged me for the equipment that I'm still using! The rep that set the service up just wanted credit for a new account. Xfinity gives commission for new sales! So when my daughter called in they put the service in her name for the commission! At the end of the day I disputed the equipment charges and early termination fee! I finally found out what equipment they were looking for on the 5th time I called (Emily was great!). It was a streaming box that I was paying for and never used! However I'm using the WiFI box from my old location! I returned that box for $120 credit and paid the remainder of what I owed, which was $93.73! There is a balance of $100 for the early termination fee , that they will not remove! I have been with this company for over 10 years and will not continue service! I will also tell all my friends and family to never use Xfinity for any service! It's a sham that this large Service Provider is holding to charging to me $100 dollars and sent me to collections! They have gotten so much money from me with their over rated and expensive service! I'm also going the CPUC to let them know that Xfinity is practicing unethical sales procedures! This review is not for the Antioch Store it is for the entire company. This is not related to the store, but xfinity company itself. I joined xfinity internet service in mid June with promotion price for 24 months. After two weeks later, they cancelled my internet service without my consent. I didn't realize the cancellation until I received their email two days later asking me to return the equipment. I contacted them and they added me back to the same internet service with higher price. They said my original promotion was no longer available. I got rid of xfinity and don't recommend this unreliable company. read more

I went into the Xfinity Store to rent a modem since my modem stopped working. The Female Clerk, stated that I had to sign this form for the additional $15.00 for the modem rental. I signed the form. Then when I got home, I saw that my DVR Storage was changed downward from the 150 hours I was paying for. After numerous phone calls with Xfinity, I found out that the female clerk actually changed my plan to a new more expensive plan that will expire in July 2024. DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE. THEY TELL YOU ONE THING AND THEN NEXT THING THEY DO IS CHANGE YOUR CONTRACT WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION AND KNOWLEDGE. I just asked to rent a modem and they gave me a modem and changed my plan.
