Good morning family it was date night so my husband wanted to surprise me with dinner and a Movie . So he went to triple AAA site through AMC to purchase 2 regular drinks, 2 popcorns and movie packages. For $30.20. He clicks on the wrong package (error) .$30.20 was for 2 reg- drinks and 2 regular popcorns . $30 for POPCORN and SODA NO WAY...Triple AAA states non refundable nor transferred. We immediately phoned Triple AAA customer support team . They stated there policy, over and over Zee than Joan stated "she was the supervisor and the highest to speak with "! But will contact my support team , they will contact you 72,hours via email or phone for a request for a refund . They are the only ones who can make that decision. We wasn't asking for a refund just transfer or credit for the movie package this was done immediately after this purchase error. We NEVER received a CALL nor an EMAIL . I than phones today and spoke with a representative and was told over and over . "There is nothing we can do " ! Just buy the 2 movie tickets . That was there solution.Then we will have paid over $60 for just a movie and a popcorn and soda . That's CRAZY . After being a 10 year loyal customer paying premiums never late that is how you treat people, WOW !! So family steer clear away if they don't support LOYAL customers. WOW! Do not come on a Monday afternoon! It was extremely busy! It took about 5 minutes to check in. All seats were taken so I stood in the back. It reminded me of the DMV. It was 2:20pm when I walked in. 3:02pm finally found an open seat. I forgot her name, but she was a Filipino woman who helped me. She was very sweet and nice, made the changing name title super easy! We recently moved to Oakley and were used to paying our car registration at AAA. We found their AAA office on Lone Tree Way. This office is quite different from the one we used to go to. The lobby is wide open and you have to check in to have your name queued for your service The wait was not that long and I was in and out quickly. I have been an AAA member for a long time and I liked their service to help you with some of your DMV requirements. read more

Waiting to do dmv service for one and a half hours still waiting ,only 1 personnel working , the rest either walking around , taking a break, chatting .This is worse than the old DMV , may all the old DMV employee moved to AAA Needed big management improvement if the want to keep this 50 years member !!! read more

I came in a few days ago to take care of my DMV registration and signed in at the front. It was extremely busy that day, and while I was waiting it felt pretty chaotic. I kept getting skipped, even after I asked the person up front to make sure I hadn't lost my place, so I just kept waiting while watching other people get helped. I've been a member for a very long time, so it was unfortunate that the experience started off poorly. I was honestly close to leaving out of frustration, and it also took a really long time before I was finally called. Once I was helped though, everything completely changed. The gentleman who helped me (I can't remember his name) was pleasant-looking and had a warm, welcoming smile. He was very kind and patient with me. He took his time and made the whole process easy. What started off stressful ended up being a really nice experience, and I'm glad I stayed. read more

Horrible service been back and forth to AAA 5 different times to have car title transferred new plates and registration kept having to go back get more paperwork filled out come back to get told now got to go to DMV to take of DMV stuff. First visit a young black female treated me so nice when I entered that when I was dismissed by the agent I saw, I kept my cool and left. Upset but not harmed I let it go. Well that same agent was at the door greeting and assisting people as they entered on my second visit. I was not happy to see him but kept my cool. He told us what to fill out and how to. I did as he said and waited to be seen. We were seen by a nice young man. Not sure on his race but he was a brown man with glasses. Anywho he told us what we needed and to come back. Welp we returned to complete the process. A Hispanic female called us back. Now I watched this female meet and greet with a smile and nice chatter back and forth with the guest. When it became my daughter and I turn it was all serious. No worries I thought, just get it done and leave. We sensed attitude and comforted each other to let it ride. No need to show our asses in this place of business. We kept it cool. She continued to be nasty. I just kinda prayed in my head. Just keep quiet and complete the mission you set out on. Plus I want my kid to know that acting out does not get things done. It just shows your anger. BOOM!!! We were done. All was complete. That said, remember people are people. They are not Gods nor do they all come to you with a smile. Remain calm and get the job done. I can appreciate the fact that I'm complete with the services after two visits. I can also appreciate the services AAA provides to my family and I continually while on the road. They also provide a number of services for DMV. I came to use the dmv services. The front door is locked so you pull and someone opens the door. Rachelle told me the dmv services were down on Tuesday. She didn't know why but it was all AAA branches. I asked her if I could call before coming back tomorrow and she gave me her number. I called Wednesday and I don't get ahold of her but drove down there anyway. There was two lines, one line to check in and one line to wait after you check in. My renewal was paid but I never received my sticker. I checked in, showed my AAA card and thought I would have to wait in line #2. After about 5 min, Rachelle came back out with papers to sign and my replacement sticker. Success! AAA again for the win and worth the membership. Thanks for saving the day. read more

The 3rd woman who helped with insurance changes quick and knowledgeable as well. In and out of there in a short time. If you are transgender and trying to change registration name AVOID this location. They are not familiar with procedures. Had to have supervisor help tech with data entry. Not pleasant. AAA Walnut Creek is much better. read more

Question??? Why are the bathrooms still blocked off ??? I know they were during Covid but they never reopened. Longer wait today, requires a need for open restrooms. I don't appreciate being told stupid lies when I asked why they were closed. The front desk said they are broken! OK, so staff was floating in and out. How can toilets be not working for months? He told us to go to Panda. Panda said they should open their own bathrooms!! I agree. Panda's are locked and require a code and are for THEIR customers. I think AAA is being cheap and lying to customers. read more

This review is strictly for their DMV services. I called AAA around 10:30am, to see If there was a line for DMV, the lady said no, so I drove down to pay my car registration. When I walked up to the door, there was one woman being let inside, so I figured they were only letting a few people in due to Covid. A moment later a guy with a rolling cart and a laptop came out and asked me what I was there for, he wanted my information but said 22 other people were ahead of me. I asked him where these people were, and he said they were either waiting in their cars, or shopping. DMV no longer takes checks at AAA, and charges a fee to use a credit card, so I asked him if I could just mail my registration, with a check, and he said yes. So much for the added benefit of being able to do DMV services at AAA any more :( read more

I've been a AAA member for over 25 years and used their road side service here and there, but the real saver is coming here instead of going to the DMV. You may have to wait about ten minutes to see someone but much shorter wait than DMV and AAA folks have much more friendly attitude. They also have a K-Cup stand and free wifi while you wait. I came here twice with DMV related and second time here, I was able to get new license plates and was out of there in under 15 minutes... this speed alone is priceless. read more

They claim to be open until 6...says so on Yelp and their front door. However they don't do walk ins after 530. So...the hours should say 5:30. Drove 20 minutes as this is the closest location, only to find a locked door and have a worker explain the business hours through the glass. read more

I have Had AAA for my current insurance for my home and car. I utilized them quite regularly at their old location off of Vern Robert Circle. And then 6 years ago they moved even deeper in to Antioch at this new location. Not too impressed it's always crowded the parking lot is small and shared with a drive-through lane of a fast food restaurant. I have been about 30 year AAA member and specifically get my tow from AAA so I can get DMV services and discounts to theme parks. Now that the idea has caught on, of course there are lines esp with Covid. I was just thinking half my life I must be waiting in lines these days -I'm not kidding! People come extra early to wait for them to open. There is a line formed early in the morning. I came after 10- too late already- it was a 2 hour wait. I came back 2 hours later and still not quite ready. They have a call back system which is nice but you have to check because I saw the 5 people in line gone and I was supposed to be next, so I went to check. They didn't call me yet so I don't know what happened but she remembered me and let me in. Now the best thing about AAA besides their tow service which I have used ( I don't like other tow service from insurance companies- this one is easier so you can ask your insurance company to waive the amount on your insurance- tip # 1) is really the people. Every time I go in there, the people are so helpful and friendly- they are good people. I also like Great America, Disney and Discovery Kingdom tickets from here. And hotel discounts as well are good! So I love my AAA ( wish their insurance was cheaper though and I could get that- right now only member for tow service). Can't wait to use travel services too which I did in the past and it was great. And I especially love my AAA on Lone Tree bc of the awesome and kind staff especially at the DMV portion ( they are not grouchy lol like some of the actual DMV employees!). It makes life easier to go to the DMV here- only thing it is sooo good that now we have a line as word gets out! So shhhh...don't tell anyone how awesome they are!!! ;) read more

I own a small business and renewing the registrations on my work trucks and my personal cars has always been a pain (DMV Offices Yuk ) This year I was late and soon to be late on 2 of my auto's, and someone suggested AAA branch to renew... This was the best experience hands down on ANY interaction with any office, store, bank, theatre .. ANY !! The staff greeting me at the door actually smiled, and looked like she wanted to be there. The DMV person who took care of my transaction did so in a human and friendly way always being professional. As I was leaving the person actually said thank you and good bye, in a human way, not a practiced line. I was apprehensive about going here due to my last experience, but I needed to pay my registration. I entered and was greeted right away. Then was asked to have a seat, and my name was called within one minute. A lady name Veneer assisted me. She was a joy to interact with. She was personable and pleasant. Good customer service is hard to come by these days. But she clearly has not lost her tact. It's always a pleasure to enter this establishment and receive supreme treatment. My needs are always met and promptly at that. There is always an assortment of tea, coffee, and water while I wait. No matter if it's for my insurance needs or for dmv services I always leave here Saturday satisfied and with a smile on my face. I was not aware until recently what a huge role AAA can play in assisting a person in planning a trip. The entirely cool thing about this service is that it's included in my AAA membership. I will continue to come back here just this past weekend I went in to pay the tags on two of my cars. I've used this branch since moving to the area in early 2018. It works for me to take care of DMV transactions Nd pick up maps. I stopped by last week to pick up maps for a upcoming epic trip cross country in 2024. They were only able to provide me with half my requested maps. Disappointed I was out of luck with getting a map of the USA. I was advised to order maps at their website. It didn't have one either. read more
