Cory responded right away with a competitive quote so I decided to hire them. After coming out to assess the job, Vinnie actually recommended a different camera system than the one I originally planned to use because it had better technology and would better suit our needs. I really appreciated their knowledge and expertise. Fortunately, the cameras he recommended were in stock locally, so we were able to purchase them the same day the installation was scheduled. The installation was a big job-they had to go underneath the house and run wiring through many access points for all seven cameras. They handled everything efficiently and with great attention to detail. The final result looks amazing and everything works perfectly. I am absolutely thrilled with the outcome and the quality of their work. I would hire Cory and his team again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a security camera installation. These guys checked all the boxes for me.

Had a project to replace my old lorex system with one I got from Costco. Cory's initial response…read morewas quick and gave a reasonable quote. I sent pictures of the positions of our current cameras to be replaced to Cory. Dusty and Vinny came out and did a quick walk around of what they were going to do. Found out they would leave some of the PoE cables exposed without using UV resistant cables. Work was completed in half a day on installing 8 cameras and the system was running perfectly. After they completed the installation and left, I discovered our OTA reception to our tv was poor. I went up in the attic and found the antenna was damaged. Luckily, I was able to correct the antenna enough to get a good signal to the tv. I also noticed that they forgot to remove one of the old cameras. Contacted Cory and he said they would come out to remove the old camera. After 2 scheduled times to come out, Cory said the installers didn't remove the camera because it would leave a large hole. There was no further contact from Cory concerning removing the camera. I ended up removing the camera myself, which only left 2 small screw holes. Overall the cabling looks great with only short sections of the cables exposed and not in direct sunlight. We just wish that the installers would have let us know about the damage to the antenna, since mistakes do happen and that after the work being completed their follow-up was better.

There are tons of Alarm companies out there it can be overwhelming, I know I was overwhelmed. Unfortunately, not all of them care for you or your family, like family. I'm so glad to have found Freedom Alarm. The owner James is so nice and really made me feel like he truly cared about my family's safety. He put in a State of the art system, cameras all. Not only that but he was very professional and personable. I've dealt with other alarm companies, they only care about "The Almighty Dollar", but that's what you can expect from big business. Freedom Alarm truly cares about their customers and work hard to ensure your family's/businesses safety. That's why I love supporting local family owned businesses. I'm just glad that I can use my voice to support such a great one. I called Freedom Alarm about a problem I was having with my alarm system that was installed when my house was built. We haven't had any problems until recently. I had called several other alarm service companies (Bay Alarm, Centrix, etc.) and none would service my alarm system without signing up for their service. I wasn't able to talk to the tech when I initially called, but James called me back within an hour. He quoted me a very reasonable rate and scheduled to be at my house within an hour. True to his word, he and his assistant (Clint, I believe) showed up, diagnosed and fixed my problem within an hour and they were on their way. Very nice and knowledgable guys! I have needed a Alarm for my home and did my research got quotes and then by a friends recommendation I was given Freedom Alarms info. I'm so happy I took her advice. This is a local company the owner James was so nice snd professionsl he gave me his honest recommendation on what he would do he spent so much time explaining in detail the different systems. I had a million questions I never felt rushed. The radio system is amazing I love that I can control everything by my phone. James took the time got my phone set up. Freedom Alarm is one if the only companies that has their own 24/7 answering service. I highly recommend this company. read more

I have been customers of James for the past 10 to 12 years. He has handles my home and business alarm and cameras. I am so happy he has opened his own business. I love that it is local, him and his wife run the business which makes the atmosphere so nice and family owned. When you call to talk to someone you actually get a Live person in his office and James himself will call you back. They have the answering service for the alarms at Freedom Alarms location so it's not farmed out. I highly recommend this company. James know the ins and outs of alarms and cameras, very professional and I trust this company. read more

Of all the shops that responded to my inquiry, Lorena's was the most specific - this shop clearly has a lot of experience, and she immediately inquired about the specific model I had and pointed me to a gallery of all their installs with my specific camera. Scheduling was a bit tricky over the holidays, but Lorena and Will were very flexible in working with me to find the right time. They first came out for a visual walk around to plan out the install. They helped me determine the optimum angles and placement, power sources, and strength of connetivity. I really appreciated the expertise they brought. I had also purchased more cameras than they felt was necessary, and they made recommendations that not only saved me money, but also ones that would give us the best use of the security cameras. On the day of the install, they spent pretty much the entire day here - their work was extremely detailed and none of it was rushed. Will and Lorena were extremely patient with all my questions, and took their time helping me set up the camera in the app as well as making a ton of minor adjustments until I was happy with the placement. It was also during this whole time that I realized how knowledgeable they are about all sorts of smart home systems - smart lights, cameras, security systems - chances are they have worked on any of the brands you are thinking of. All in all, super happy with their work. Lorena and Will are great people to work with, very knowledgeable, and will do above and beyond to make sure you are happy with their work. If you are thinking about getting any sort of smart home system or component installed, don't hesitate to give them a call.

This company said they would sell me a new system to replace system I had. On the suggestion from my wife, I called a computer repair company in Walnut Creek who sent a technician to my house to simply replace the non-functioning HD with a larger, industrial quality CCTV HD. It so happened the technician knew exactly the problem I had and ordered the correct HD. The new HD did not even to be formatted!! Cost for the new CCTV HD was $150.00!!! I don't enjoy being "played" by merchants such as these people from this company!!l Response/reply: I spoke to a "receptionist." She put me on hold for a few minutes; when she returned to the call, she told me the "manager" told her to tell me the company doesn't service systems they did not install. Plus they are not familiar the brand of CCTV. At no time was I given the option or ever asked if I wanted a technician to go to my house to check out my system. The original installer wanted to sell me a new system as well!! The original installer said my CCTV system should be replaced if it stops working because the NVR is not serviceable. My system was warranted for 3 years; the HD in the NVR failed 2 months after the warranty expired. Response: I am simply writing (recording) what I was told by the receptionist. I told her my CCTV was giving me an error message "not recording." I asked her "...do you service CCTVs?" She said the manager said they don't service my brand of CCTV. She said the manager said,, "he is not familiar with your CCTV." ***I found the NVR brand and cameras on AM.Z.N. I simply said "OK!"
