I'm pretty sure the staff at freeway insurance is racist. They do not hire any race or ethnicity other than Hispanic. They become argumentative and combative if you request assistance with the simplest of issues like adding a vehicle to your policy. They will tell you they can't hear you, they will tell you you've called the wrong location everything but add the vehicle to the policy. read more

Stone Wood insurance sucks, cost u less in Pittsburgh actually has cool customer service but the insurance company they hooked me up with did not have good customer service what so ever, i had to cancel and go with a different insurance company when i tried to upgrade my insurance to buy a new car of the lot, the lady at stone wood made it extremely hard and Every Time i provided what she need she came with another excuse why i couldn't upgrade my insurance to full coverage. Now 2 months later im still trying to cancel and they still are making up reasons why i cant cancel. I went to cost u less paid the cancellation fee and im still receiving bills in the mail. We were directed to CostUless by the agency we were buying our car for insurance. There we met Bianca who said she will give us a good deal. But Bianca is a cheat, she cheated us. She had made two mistakes in our form, one mistake on my name and one marital my status. She said she is waving the broker fees and then charged the broker fees as well as made us for the changes as well. I don't have a problem with this location in particular... but I wanted to say how disappointed I am with this auto insurance all in all. I filed a claim on December 27th for a hit and run and pay FULL COVERAGE, just for them to tell me I'm not fully covered. Now What I mean is that I would still pay a deductible and/if I decide to go elsewhere I would pay 20% of the damage + a deductible .... they also never mentioned that there is no renters insurance included.... well why do I pay FULL coverage ?????? When I'm not fully covered when these incidents happen. Anyways my agent HASN'T been following up with me haven't heard from her in weeks only time she called back was because after the 6th voicemail I left I i reached out to her supervisor ... never heard from her since . Her name is Kristen . Trying to get a hold of people in claims is ridiculous I spent 2 hours gettin the run around and no one gave me clear direction or instruction. Y'all is fraud . Had the worse experience with the call center representative this morning. My phone call and answers should have taken only 10-15 minutes to be answered and resolved. The 1st Rep I spoke with (Oscar Gonzales) customer service is appalling, he gave me false information and sent me back and fourth because he just didn't know the correct answer. Oscar had me contact the insurance company directly to explain what the name of my loan information is and update my marital status with them. Spoke with (Western General Insurance) whom state they can't make any changes to the policy only Cost - U - Less can. Here I go again calling Cost-u-Less to resolve the problem, as I wait on hold for 20 minutes before a Rep can even answer which is ridiculous. Finally (Eva Rodriguez) answers the phone I begin to explain my 2 problems. One that I am not married and two please up date my car loan with the insurance information. Seems really basic right!!! Eva goes on to explain "The last rep already explained everything to me and he said it the correct way so yeah!" Me REALLY! that's all she could say...I had to explain, NO Eva your company mailed this letter to me asking for proof of marriage and I'm not married so you need to update your records. she continues to argue with me that Cost-u-less didn't mail me anything. I begin to get outraged and ask to speak with a manager since she's wasting my time. I also informed her I don't want to wait on hold for 20 minutes. She starts up again with, "Well I have to put you on hold and find someone." ME...I understand you need to put me on hold and find someone but it shouldn't take 20 minutes. I'm trying to stay calm but extremely upset that I've been on the phone since 8am and now it's 12pm with the insurance for something so little. I never got to speak with a manager the phone hung up and of course no one called back to apologize. The communication and customer service is horrid, no one seems to understand how to fix things or even understand what letter I'm talking about. Finally I called (800)960-0036 to make a complaint on the horrible customer service experience and spoke with Olga Alcala whom answered my questions in 15 minutes and said I was correct not sure why previous rep gave me the insurance company number because everything should be done through cost-u-less. She couldn't even understand why the previous rep couldn't get the car loan information and fax it over. I don't recommend this company to anyone! Had I dealt with Olga Alcala from the begin I don't believe I would've ever had a problem. Cost-u-Less management needs to speak with the call center representatives and retrain on customer service.
