The people need training!!!!!!!! In trying to save money, I was told that if I transferred my home phone to a cell phone, I could save money on my bill. I decided to do that and keep my number. That was done and I received the cell phone. Two days later I called to activate it. I was told that I had to wait 24-48 hours. I did that. Called back to activate again and was told that it would take two weeks. I received a call from xfinity two days later asking me if I wanted to activate my phone. After being on the phone for almost an hour, was told that it would be activated by 9 pm 2/21/25. After 9:30 pm, I called and told them that it wasn't activated. After being on the phone almost 45 minutes, I was told that it wouldn't be activated until the 28th. I received a call this morning 2/22/25 at 9:30 asking if I wanted to activate the phone. She told me that I would receive a call Monday the 2/24/25 to activate. WHO DO I BELIEVE?? I will never after 30+ years at Xfinity, do this ever again and am on the verge of canceling everything!! read more

Do not go to this Xfinity retail location. In March, Matt assisted me in moving my mother's service from her home to assisted living. In the process, he told me that Xfinity now offers mobile phone service. I said, "OK, but I am not here for that. I am here to transfer her service." Matt signed my elderly, sick mother up for a $1200 cell phone, service, and assigned her bank account as payment while I stood in front of him at the counter. I picked up the routers, but no one at Xfinity Seabrook ever gave me a $1200 iphone. A week later, I got an email saying "You've officially activated the number, (978) 904-5417, on Xfinity Mobile." I went back to the store and approached the criminal named Matt and he said I asked for the mobile service and he gave me the phone. His manager backed him up. I spent 3 hours on the phone with Xfinity getting this service, device, and the whole event removed from the account. Six months later, we decided to get the cheapest cell phone and transfer her home phone to a simple cell phone. We signed up for the service in June and by August 13, we returned it. She decided she did not want to activate the phone because having two phones was overwhelming to her. She was escorted to the Scammy Seabrook store and they turned in the Motorola phone. The service was never cancelled. The phone was never returned to Xfinity. There is no number to call Seabrook directly....not that they care about being criminals. I am filing a police report on both incidents today. As you can see from other reviews, the Seabrook police are aware of the criminal activity at this location. read more

No matter how bad Verizon is, Xfinity is even worse. I work at home and the internet service is so unreliable (I paid top dollar for their supposed best service) that I powered virtually everything off my cellphone provider. And, of course, if I had opted for their cell service, I would not have been able to do that. You can't get them to deduct outages from your bill because you can't get a person on the phone. read more

I have been charged for 9 years for cable boxes I don't have. COMCAST cannot be reached by phone without a painful painful process. I have called multiple times and they will not fix it. Inept. pathetic. I called February 6th, got a ticket number, nothing happened. I called again today and it took me 4 tries to get a person. I am going to keep writing every day and then I am going to take Comcast to small claims court! Xfinity you are the worst and I pay over $300 a month! PITIFUL. Awful awful Comcast!!!!!!!!! This review isn't necessarily toward this xfinity service center but infinity as a whole company.....THEY SUCK!! You can't get through to a real human when you call the automated toll free number, no matter how many time you ask for a representative. Their prices are astronomical and all your doing is watching the same stuff ALL the time. Streaming is supposed to be cheaper, but now they're making you pay for something that was free before. Transferred two phone numbers to Xfinity Mobile. Phones arrived in two days. First one activated without a problem. Second one hung on connecting to the network. Took the phone to the Service Center, where we were greeted and helped immediately. Rep installed a new SIM card, and now the phone works great. Fast, friendly, and effective. The Worst Place to do business with. The two uneducated and rude employees behind the counter created a scene that warrant an investigation. Not this store specially, but this company just has horrible customer service. I had to call the fire department last night due to a melted and exposed wire. We are told that we cannot get any service appointment for days. Not only do we not have any service, but we risk a house fire. Have been a Comcast customer forever it seems and decided to take advantage of their mobile phone service. Did get it done but the experience was anything but pleasant. Judith "took care of me". I'm not a tech type at all and made that clear in the beginning. Judith assured me she would make sure all my stuff was transferred to my new phone. Had to go through a few machinations with passwords and such. I said you must see dummy's like me all the time. She bluntly answered no. I honestly don't think she was purposely being rude, it just seemed so natural. She was sure to tell how I was doing everything wrong and that's why she couldn't/wouldn't install my apps. I was on my own and did in fact manage. The concept of nice polite customer service is a lost skill in todays society. I had to drive to Seabrook today, twice, to Xfinity. The first trip I arrived right at opening, 10AM Sunday, Alexandra opened, she was very polite, listened to why I was there. I exchanged a cable TV box & remote, for new ones, I hadn't had cable TV for 2-days. I was in & out in 10-minutes. When I got home plugged everything in & followed the prompts, it read that I needed to call Customer support, again! The tech support was very helpful, after 40-minutes, I was told either my coax cable or box is defected. I reiterated, I just picked them up an hour ago! Ugh! Having no choice I had to drive the 20+miles back to Seabrook, where it was much busier than 10AM. Yet, it wasn't longer than 10-minutes a young man, that I wish I got his name, offered to help, I explained everything - again. He was very patient, kind & helpful. I got home & tried a 2nd time, with new cables, box & remote. This time it all worked. Yaaay! Aside from given defected equipment, I felt I needed to let future customers know, about my positive experience & the knowledgeable/helpful sales personnel. read more

Beware of being upsold for Xfinity phone service!!! I am beyond angry at being upsold on packaging my phone service requiring leaving Verizon to be with Xfinity. I had visited the store to deal with ONLY a cable issue. While there I was approached about changing my phone service to Xfinity. I was skeptical about the significant savings and ease of switching described to me by Ray the customer service rep but was eventually convinced about the financial wisdom to do it; and spent the next 45 minutes switching over to "save money". I was told directly by Ray that there would not be any further charges from Verizon. That I had to satisfy "paying off" my equipment portion of my monthly bill and we did it right there and Verizon was then able to release the number to Xfinity. So I eventually left with a receipt showing no money due and now I was signed up completely with Xfinity for Cable, WiFi, and phone. Simple and packaged. I received a bill from Verizon a few weeks later. My normal monthly bill. I had meant to inquire about it as I was told I was done with Verizon. But I then figured it was a final Bill and I just accepted it. But today I received a bill for $419 from Verizon. I visited Xfinity personally and they said that Ray must have been mistaken. And unfortunately they could not resolve my issue with Verizon. They suggested I go up the street to the Verizon store. The guy there could not help me. He said My account no longer could be accessed and he gave me a customer service phone number. I also tried to go to the Verizon app and I no longer could sign in as I do not exist there after leaving. After several attempts I got through to a customer service at Verizon on the phone who said I owed the balance of unpaid equipment charge. They were unsympathetic to whatever Xfinity had said to me which I understand. I went back to Xfinity. They shrugged their shoulders and said sorry. The guy there use to work at Verizon and assured me Verizon would resolve it. But Verizon didn't do anything wrong and apparently is owed the money so I have to pay it. The point here is the customer service people at Xfinity are selling the phone service hard. I witnessed it today on both visits. They may not have intentionally mislead me, but I was assured I was done with Verizon without any further charges due. They were completely wrong to do this unless they were sure. Instead I have been charged an additional $551. The whole sales pitch was to save money. I had NOT visited Xfinity to change my phone service but did based on them misleading me about any other exit costs with Verizon. They should have the understanding to make sure all facts are known before they directly and emphatically assure a customer that there won't be any further charges. I owe the money to Verizon. So please beware of the over simplification to switch out. Ray the customer service person was nice and also confident but clearly someone who mislead me probably through his ignorance of understanding other consequences I would have. Because he assured me over and over that I was done with Verizon and that my equipment was paid off. It wasn't!!!! And I am responsible for another $551 that was unexpected that I have no basis with Verizon to contest. I will look for some financial consideration from Xfinity but am doubtful I will receive any considerarion. read more

Steve is fantastic. What a knowledgeable, helpful, sweet person. I've dealt with him a couple times, and he is just so pleasant to work with. The woman, however, is on a power trip or something. You would think she was the CEO of Comcast the way she treats everyone. Being rude and snobby doesn't make you respectable or professional; it just makes you rude and a snob. If you need to visit this location, I recommend dealing with Steve or the other nice man that was there. read more
