    I was just about to cut the cord... you know what I am talking about! My rising cable costs and then adding injury to insult waking up recently to find one of my favorite shows now requiring a subscription. Whatttt??? That was all the incentive I needed to get in the car and drive to Folsom Xfinity. This was actually my second visit to the Folsom Xfinity store location. About two months ago the microphone on my remote stopped working. Talk about a shock to the system. Having to hit all those buttons to get to where I wanted to go was not cutting it. I absolutely dreaded having to go to see if I could EVEN get a replacement remote. The Xfinity Yelp reviews were not encouraging. However, there was one very recent five star review which gave me hope. Arrived early afternoon to one of the local strip malls where Xfinity is located. I must confess when I walked in I was taken aback how large the area was. High ceilings with great lighting, a modern seating layout, and a very clean spacious feel. I was impressed. Not what I expected at all. But even more impressive was the employee who immediately greets you and performs a sort of triage if you will, to ask what your reason for visiting is. Ok. Now I am really impressed. I handed him my remote with my explanation and he literally walked a few steps and picked up a spanking new remote from a bin and handed it to me. Nice packaging too. I was almost in shock... LOL! That was wayyy too easy. Fast forward to my new problem/complaint. Sure exchanging remotes is one thing. But reducing my Xfinity internet/cable bill and my favorite channel dilemma is a whole different enchilada:)! Well peeps... miracles in the cable nightmare scenarios do happen. The exact same employee was greeting incoming customers. And by the way, a huge shout out for him. Super professional and nice. Engages like he really wants to help you. Tall, a little older than the employees he hands you off to. This guy is fantastic and represents Xfinity well. Yes there was a short wait... maybe 15 minutes before I was called to a counter for my turn. However there were only about three people ahead of me . I don't know what the experience would be like if there were more people ahead of me. Needless to say, I left within 10 to 15 minutes with a greatly reduced monthly fee and my show back on my watch list. Mission accomplished! No pain at all. Thank you to the Xfinity powers that be for finally putting the customer first. Because that is exactly how it felt. This was a life changing event. Ok... maybe I am being a little dramatic... LOL! But I bet every one of you can identify:-). I will be back in a year to review my current package for sure! Whew!

    Made an appointment and didn't have to wait long. The help was not helpful. What customer wants to hear, " I have bad news for you" and "You should call customer service and see what kinds of deals they have". I made an appointment to see a human and received these answers... Why even have an xfinity store if you don't want to actually help? The woman signing customers in was welcoming. The staff on the other hand are not at all helpful. Don't bother wasting your time. Call, you'll probably have

    Horrible company! OMG! It's a nightmare. You can't get a person on the phone. I have been calling for 2 days and I have spent hours trying to get help. My internet has not been staying connected for months. Go anywhere else!!!!

Wanted to upgrade phone to get free Apple Watch. After THREE hours being held captive and AFTER shutting off our old phones we were given the bill to pay taxes (545.00) which was $100 dollars too high! Had we not questioned the calc, they would have charged our card. In addition they charged us $185.00 in "their" service changes AFTER telling us it would only be ONE charge of $30 dollars. Horrible experience. Employees are incompetent and manger is crabby and unhelpful! We ended up calling Verizon later and they made it right for us by removing all charges from their store and then some.

And I've spent a total of 15 1/2 hours over three day. in their store between trying to get my accounts correct and the fraud reversed. By the way, they allowed somebody to make changes on my account without contacting me. Security sucks. And when I was there dealing with their fraud the clerk working said she remembered us trying to get our phones over the 3 days we were there and she said, "I could have had that done in minutes if you were dealing with me." Oh, so she just allows us to get frustrated instead of helping her coworker, who was in tears when we walked. Got it. Stay clear of this place. Update-8/28/25. Due to their fraud we can't get into our app, pay our bill, redeem the promised promotions when we signed up and I've been on the phone with them for 35 minutes now only to find out we don't get the item that was sold to us as part of their promotion. We'll be cancelling and taking our money and business to Xfinity. What a nightmare. 1st world problem nightmare, but I refuse to give these crooks one more dime of our cash. Oh..guess what? Just saw our bill! They are still charging for the fraud phone on our bill! $144.90! Can't make this up. Blocked them from auto pay. They aren't getting one more dime from us.

I will tell you that Temo was very, very patient and understanding in all the questions and inquiries we had, and he answered ALL. This job and service was very important to us so we wanted to get it right. Thank you Temo. He is very knowledgeable in his profession and truly takes pride in all that he does.
