We went to buy $115.00 worth of merchandise, I asked the cashier if I can have a $25.00 coupon for next time like she gave the customer previous to me. She just said NO! was not nice very abrupt! I asked if I can speak to the manager, the mgr came and she relayed my issue, same thing... just abruptly said NO! we've never been to this store and will not come back. I think the manager should be trained how to deal with the customer its just a coupon!!! they are very impolite. Comparing them of course, with Nordstrom... My how packed it was in here Saturday at 7pm. It was my first time here and this store was jammed packed with families. Hispanic families and all their children running amok in this place. There was only one cashier and the checkout line that went deep into the women's athletic shoe section. I spent 15 minutes in that line praying it would speed up. I spent an hour total here and what I noticed was that they have more of a selection of shoes for men and children than women. A lot of the boxes of shoes I grabbed had only a single shoe in them which made no sense to me. Parking was plenty and the store was surprisingly clean. I paid $68 for a pair of pumas and I was most excited about getting out of there then anything else. read more

Ok so this is my first yelp comment ever and my experience with this place really got me to want to come on yelp n post a review.. Let me start by saying that I only went to WSS cause I got a groupon deal. $20 for $40 bucks..So I live in Glendale, but work out in the valley so I looked online and everything on their website is "Out of Stock"..So I went to 3 WSS's and finally landed at this one. I was really trying to get rid of the coupon so I just wanted to get it over with. So first we walked in and the place smelled like poop all over...I made my way over to the women's section and started looking around and realized how ghetto their shoes are so I started looking at their clothing (they seem to have more clothes than shoes) so I picked up a few items to try. I walked over to a worker or seemed so distracted and asked her if they had a fitting room and she pointed to the bathroom telling me they don't have a fitting room. So I walk in the bathroom and I almost fainted. DISGUSTING!!! It just seemed like nobody checked the bathroom to see if it was dirty for days...YUCK!!! SO i just ran out without trying anything. I ended up just getting some flats for work so I can rush out of there. During checkout a female and male were helping me while they were both talking about the weather the next day..and just ignoring the fact that they are ringing me up and im standing in front of them..I couldn't wait to get out of there and when I did I almost threw up. My advice go to ROSS or TJ MAX better quality shoes and cheaper..WSS is too ghetto read more

Manager Oswaldo without fully hearing me out accused me of trying to return Jordan's at his store, first of all I've never purchased Jordan's and I didn't go to your store today trying to argue about it. Very unprofessional and out of character for a manager. I spoke to someone in his store which ok my husbands return when he got there earlier this week they rejected it so I called and asked about it since it was ok by someone over the phone. This is my fist time writing a review on Yelp! This WSS Location has the worse customer service. The manager (Oswaldo) looks like a thug and acts like one. As a manager, he has poor customer service and thinks he's a badass. He's rude, arrogant and condescending. My wife wanted to buy some shoes but were a bit damage so she asked for a discount. He said he can only give her a 10% discount for the damage but we were unable to use the $20 discount coupon for spending more than $100 which makes no sense. He ignored us and kept on just ringing other customers. Then another employee named Karla, all she did was make fun of the situation. Crystal in the other hand was nice. This place is terrible. We spend almost $1,000 in 2 days. I think we deserved to be treated better. We ended up going to another WSS where we were threaten with respect. Oswaldo (Manager) and Karla are garbage and don't deserve to be working for in retail. Their customer service is terrible. This is our lastime shopping at WSS!!!!! read more

i've been shopping here at this sepulveda location for many years now.i always see young employees for the most part with the exception of loss prevention and management.i was just there today 8/12/17 and 2 employees were on their phone sharing pictures talking about girls on the sales floor and another girl walked by me and didn't even acknowledge me or make eye contact the purpose of this review is that when i approached the store manager OSWALDO he didn't even give me a chance to speak or finish what i had to say...he rudely interrupted me and said i will take care of it your message has been heard however it sounds stupid on his behalf to say that to me when he didn't even give me an opportunity to finish what i HAD to say as a store manager you have to listen to a customer's questions or concerns, Not rudely interrupt them as of were taking up your time! i couldn't believe how this guy is running a store! here's a tip to OSWALDO-- when a customer wants to talk to you is to let you know what's going on in your store and how your employees are treating customers.don't forget that customer service is key and we are your bread and butter! without US customers you all don't get hours or a good paycheck.NO courtesy was extended to me or even an opportunity to hear what i hat to say instead oswaldo just shut me up never gave me an opportunity to speak to even listen to me telling him about his employees who are lacking customer service skills and your employees should be better trained not to have tunnel vision or if your busy pass the buck to someone else but never ignore a customer as if were taking up your time! your getting paid to service us and make profit at your store! i hope your district manager reads this!!! very horrible store manager who he himself shows no open door policy and lack of customer service skills and needs to be a better listener by not rudely interrupting us as customers especially if we have questions or concerns.shop at another location or a better competitor!!! read more

I spent almost $200 in this location. When I left I heard this advertisement on the radio that said if you spend over $100 they will issue a $25.00 gift card. I looked around my receipt and I couldn't find it to receive my $25.00 gift card I went over to the Van Nuys location and made over $100.00 purchase and they gave me the gift card there. I give them a -1 if I could because they had the promotion going and they never mentioned not one word about the gift card. So then I called the store and I spoke to the manager named Juan or Gustavo and he said he needed my receipt in order to issue the gift card but its frustrating when you cannot find your receipt and get ripped of from the offer that was supposed to be for you same day and it was not even brought up. Just so customers can know that you might be ripped of by their promotions in the future. read more
