Lousy service. No one says hi, or at least comes up and asks if you need anything after a few minutes. I had to go up to her, no smile, it was like I was inconveniencing her. Then when she was speaking I couldn't hear her well because she was standing 5 feet away from me with too loud music, and when I moved one foot closer to try to hear her she had the nerve to freak out and move back. I would never spend one dime in this lousy store. And maybe have more shoe options. There is so much wasted space. read more

No one would wait on us. No one. My daughter wanted a pair of Converse, but the two employees re-stocking the Vans shoes next to us ignored us, the young man who saw us enter ignored us, we tried to get the attention of another sales person, they couldn't be bothered. Today my sister and I walked in, We're regular customers always buying the newest stuff. But when we walked in the two girls at the register were just chatting it up. Not even acknowledging either of us. The blonde girl gave us a lot of attitude when we asked questions and gave me the impression she didn't not want to be there or help us. If that's how she feels then maybe she shouldn't be working in customer service. Corporate needs to do something about her handling customers . This is my local Shoe palace 5 stars for Mason he was definitely super helpful knew what he was doing and had such a kind attitude. But I do have to say the store manager her name was along the lines of enya or something close to that she is so rude not to me directly but definitely to her employees she was being very rough to one of the girls and by my observation she looked new and as if she still needed some training from the looks of it seems like the store manager just yells instead of training her so she knows what she's doing that kind of behavior is so unprofessional and upsetting makes me not want to ask so no one gets in trouble if that's how she's going to behave . read more

The staff at this location is extremely bad. I don't know how business operates . I had to make a return I had the tags, but I didn't have my receipt. And apparently they couldn't take my items as a return because I didn't have a receipt they asked for proof of purchase which I provided and they were able to pull up the transaction and my proof of purchase. They told me I can only get store credit or an exchange, which wasn't what I wanted. I wanted my money back and they kept insisting that it is not possible because I don't have a receipt. Which is a complete lie. They forced me to get a gift card instead of them, giving my money back. I got the gift card and I left. I went to the Northridge location and the manager and the staff were so amazing. That even though I didn't buy the items from them, they were able to return my money back to me without the receipt. That store in Sherman Oaks is horrible. Staff has horrible attitude. I think Palace owners are upper management need to rethink about their employees. read more

5 stars for Marco-0 for the rest of the crew. I was Christmas shopping amongst the crowds, looking for my teenage son. I walked into Shoe Palace at the Westfield Mall SO to look. I wandered to the back of the store where I counted 5 employees behind the counter chatting, laughing, having a great time! Nobody even greeted me or the other patrons in back. I circled again now finding humor in this and not a one stopped their conversation to ask if anyone needed anything. I went to the front of the store where a gentleman, Marco was hustling to greet people, make us aware of the sales going on, ask if anyone needed help with sizes.... Fantastic! I thanked him for his professionalism. The store was paying 6-7 people on the job while only 1 was actually working. People are dying to spend money right now-but you lose interest when treated like that. Give this guy a raise or promote him! read more

They give you a hard time if you want to exchange. The staff clerk Diego and the two other women there were not kind or helpful. This individual treated me so bad and sent me back with my purchase. He was so not helpful and he was unkind. The staff girls there were also unkind. No greeting, didn't want to help me when I walked in they were chatting then they both went to the back and denied my exchange. They made me feel so awkward and awful. I am unable to explain my feelings of their treatment but I do want to let the public know what to expect. Shoe Palace staff is not customer service friendly driven, staff is unprofessional , not motivated, it's not the experience I was looking for. Diego shame on you for your behavior and how you didn't care to help me with anything. You tried zero to be of help. To the 2 other staff members, not sure why you behaved so inattentive but doubt that's the quality customer way to go. I admit there is lots of disappointment on the staff culture. I was in Shoe Palace today June 23 2022. I went to buy some Nikes . I was greeted by a girl who said her name was Carol. Long story short the service was horrible. Only broght me one shoe took forever to bring me the 2nd. I was one of two people in the store. Afterwards I continued to shop but was harassed three times within ten minutes about buying the shoes that were at the register already. I was still shopping. I asked to try more shoes and Carol basically ignored me . I asked to speak to the manager. I waited 30 mins he never showed his face. That's not good customer service. Normal don't feel the need to review retail shows stores in a mall. But seriously very bad customer service. I ask for help and was blatantly ignored, and when I had to track someone down, the guy was rude and tossed the shoes I wanted to buy on the counter and walked off. The guys at the register was no better. For a mall location in a better part of the valley, one would think that their hires would have a better attitude towards people spending money in your store. I've been coming to the Sherman oaks fashion square for years. Shoe palace has always been my favorite shoe store for years but dislike that different managers come in and out. One guy who has tattoos everywhere and blonde hair super rude. I came in today and was trying to ask a question about a shoe didn't even look at me the whole time I was talking to him and it wasn't the first time before I never feel welcome by him I could never get his name either but I believe he's a manager.One employee I do very much id like to point out is David. I bought the Nike air max 720 about a month ago at that shoe Palace location. I have only wore them for 4 times and then the left shoe got a flat air bag without any visible reason. I checked the recipe and noticed that the 30 days return has passed 3 days ago, frustrated from getting a flat air bag on a 200$ shoes I called Nike to check what can be done. Apparently if you haven't bought your Nike directly from Nike.com or Nike's storefront you are doomed, don't expect to get good service or any service at all (their representative Literally told me that I'm not their client) as last resort I called to shoe Palace where I got the shoes and been answered by ZAHIT That told me to stop by to see how he can help with the situation without making any promises. I arrived there and asked for ZAHIT, 10 minutes later I walked out with a new pair. Thank you ZAHIT for great service and tons of frustration that been saved from me. New location, situated near Bloomingdales.. This particular store is a bit smaller than the topanga store but good selection of sneakers including recent releases of retro Jordans .. I was pretty surprised to see some air max 90 infrared crocs available as they've been sold out at most places but shoe palace is always full of surprises with recent shoe releases. Sales guys were friendly without being overbearing, music wasn't overly loud like some other locations, overall another solid location as shoe palace is poppin up all over the place! read more
