    Grilled Veggie Burrito
    Em B.

Wrapture is the best restaurant in Beverly. Hands down. I'd like to update my recent claims on their burritos. I've loved them for over a decade now, but I thought their burritos declined slightly, but I suppose it depends on the person making it. I ordered a roasted vegetable burrito today that reminded me of the first time I ever had Wrapture. It was filled completely with delicious ingredients; perfect portioning of veggies, rice, beans, sour cream, guacamole, and pico. The veggies were steamed perfectly and were the perfect texture; I don't have a better word to use, other than phenomenal. I take back any claims I made about them in the past, because they still got it! Big fan of their lentil soup. It's a tad on the spicy side which I love(!), and is great for the immune system. I order their lentil soup regularly and I highly recommend it. Since I've been coming here for over 13 years, they have not increased their prices. Not throughout the years, not due to the pandemic, not ever. The staff is always super kind, in a great mood, and that energy they're cooking with is very important. I don't order food from places where people hate their job, because energy transference is real. They've never asked me to update my reviews. They've only ever treated me with respect every visit, they've only increased the quality of their food with a smile, and I cannot support them enough, other than encouraging you to try them as well, or to put them in your regular takeout rotation. These are the type of businesses that deserve ALL of the local community support. Thank you Wrapture! Y'all are amazing! Ambience: 5/5 Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5

lime chicken burrito at dane street beach ;)

Well, I'll definitely say Wrapture and the specific lime chicken burrito I had is way better in terms of value than a Chipotle chicken burrito. I think chipotle burritos lack flavor. They taste really bland to me. But the lime chicken burrito from wrapture was totally spiced well. The seasoning and flavors tasted of cajun, black pepper, lots of salty goodness, and possibly a hint of cumin? And actually, to be honest, I really enjoyed the warmth and density of meat, beans, guac, and soft grainy thinly shredded white cheese (which was so pleasing every time my mouth got hints of it) packed into the wrap. I think I was a little disappointed by the oily overflow of the burrito. I want to enjoy my burrito but the messiness of the wrap got in the way of my ability to fully enjoy it. I was more worried about spilling and getting it all over my clothes. not fun. and if i was working full-time, I dont think I would grab this kind of burrito from wrapture during my lunch hour. my office outfit would get all dirty. so no thank you. Hmm but to end on a positive note, I was really touched by a personal handwritten note that one of the workers left on the outer foil. In the extra comment section, I wrote that I'd love a 'gluten free' wrap option. One of the workers responded in a really cute message, handwritten too! that they unfortunately don't have gf option. it's okay! Thank you so much for letting me know. Thank you, Wrapture. I hope you all continue to be blessed and do well in 2020!

This tiny cafe offers tasty wraps and a variety of healthy option. It is is a bit noisy and has few seats, so plan take-out.

Spicy, comforting, and addictive in the best way. This is the kind of meal you think about when you're not even hungry. I used my handy-dandy Yelp Boston app and landed on Nour cafe! I saw that they had #shawarma and that it was some of the best in the area, so here's how it went! Atmosphere/Appearance: This place is literally a gas station, but there's nothing wrong with that. You pull up to the Shell, get some gas or park at a pump that's out of order or one of the available parking spots off to the right, but this place isn't really designed for you to dine in. Lol. Yes, you can sit in and eat off to the left side, but they really want you to leave. Once inside you make a right and above the drink coolers are a series of TVs that show you the menu. Continue to your right and you'll see the kitchen where all of the magic happens. Simple setup here. Service: There isn't any. You walk up to the counter, order your food, pay for it where you'd normally pay for gas then wait for them to call your name. My food was ready in 10 minutes. Food: I went with the mixed grill plate because I just FELT IN MY SOUL that I'd get a WHOLE LOT of food. Boy was I right! Lol. So the mixed grill plate comes with chicken shawarma, steak shawarma, ground lamb kabob, rice, a big pita, pickled vegetables, a slaw, a grilled onion mixture and hummus. Wow. Everything was SO good, SO seasoned and SO filling. I literally could eat on this for 2 and maybe 3 meals! I broke the pita into 4 smaller pieces and then made mini shawarmas with different meats in them! Lol. It was a bit messy, but you can totally eat this with a fork and knife without a problem. The food was excellent. Value: $16.99 is what I paid and when I got to my hotel then opened the lid to see all of that food I was just so blown away. How did they make any money by giving me all of this?! Lol. Astounded. Everything on the menu is cheap and there were many things under $10.00. In conclusion, I'd definitely pull up and get this exact same meal again! I went with the mixed grill to experience the different meats this place had to offer. I loved eating from here.

So, last night on an impulse, with my girl out of town and me needing food for an overnight project, I decided to swing by and get just what sounded great. Double BLT cheeseburger and onion rings. Fordee's burger patties are larger than most places, but I did want a double burger. You can guess the rest... double burger, bacon, lettuce, tomato -red onion was a treat! -and cheese and sauces and it was amazing. I can't always stop in and order a little piece of heaven like this -but it does happen and they treated me great... and boy, was it worth the wait. Very nice, very polite, very accommodating to whoever I wanted even if the cheeseburger was 72 ft tall. Best cheeseburger I have had in our neighborhood in almost half a year -and the other place we have to order from a great distance and aren't as nice. Having Fordee's in the neighborhood is a real treat. Fresh, friendly, and full of surprises. The Tabouli and salads are great... even my onion rings rocked. Keep up the good work, Fordee's! You set folks up with the best food. I may order 3 patties next time!

I really adore the family that runs this little operation. As much as they bear the aura of…read more*nonchalant-no-nonsense-straightforward*, they are actually very nice (and sometimes quite funny) folk. I recall one conversation the lady was having with an obvious regular over the phone. She had asked him several times what they wanted to order...I could tell that they had probably ate the whole menu at this point but couldn't decide in the moment. A few minutes later, I heard her say in an exasperated voice, "Oh, yoooooouuuuuu *KILL* meeeeeeee, please tell me what you want." (Note too that she says this in a particular sarcastic accent that literally made me absolutely LAUGH deep inside. Long story short, they continue for a bit on the phone and she finally finalizes the phone order.) I also fondly recall my first visit. I had ordered other dishes to try (none of which were Falafel despite it being part of the restaurant name). It was still pretty quiet as I literally got there as they were turning their open sign. Moments after I received my food, the owner himself stopped by the table with a small sample of his falafels after finding out it was my first time there. That short interchange immediately cemented their name in my list of places to dine. Why? They definitely serve some of the best falafels I've had stateside to date. And on top of that, I truly enjoyed the rest of the plates I've ordered so far. It's one of those places that just somehow tackles your palate with simplicity and complexity making you feel like you're at home and dining out at the same time.
