I used to go to this place way back when it was called "Rawbert's" and it was my favorite restaurant, would travel every week from N Andover several times to do pick up. After being a customer for many years I moved to RI and on occasion would come back when visiting. Noticed the menu has been through lots of changes, I miss the "raw" aspect of it. Yesterday was super bowl sunday and I ordered over 100 dollars of food. I would say it was "okay" but the wait was super crazy. We ordered online 3 hours ahead and still ended up waiting another 40 mins for it. The pizza is no longer on a homemade raw base it seems to be on a typical packaged crust. It wasnt what I was used to from this place but it wasn't bad. The mac and cheese was really bad; The macaroni wasn't cooked and it had no flavor. The nachos were very good but super soggy because they were probably waiting for the other foods to be cooked . My sister liked her bowl and I liked my wrap. I'm not a local so I can't say "bring back the spring rolls and the raw based pizzas etc" They do what they need to do to survive. read more

My husband and I love Organic Garden Cafe and go frequently. The Sesame Ginger salad is my absolute favorite --always fresh, flavorful and perfectly balanced and I usually pair it with a wheat grass shot for the perfect energizing boost! Everything tastes incredibly clean and high-quality and the you can feel the care behind the food. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the staff is consistently kind. Beverly is lucky to have this gem-- we will always keep coming back! read more

For those who are too hippie/indie/granola for (the ever-multiplying) Life Alive. It's organic, which I appreciate, yet seems slightly underwhelming even when I'm in the mood for a grain bowl. To me, something tastes a bit off about every meal, almost as if it's all lightly cooked in Yerba Mate. Nonetheless, Organic Garden still has stellar service and a very very earthy-crunchy ambience. Food takes a while. read more

It's our go to for a healthy organic vegan lunches. The food is made to order and with lots of options for everyone's palate. Great selection of desserts which go home for later. Staff are nice and the place is casual. Plenty of parking. read more

I love their food. It's made well, very tasty and it's all fresh. You will not feel like you just ate a small bowling ball afterward- you'll feel satiated and happy. it's a specialty menu, but it's excellent food for all types of eaters. Quiet atmosphere, great for a quiet dinner and conversation. Great for folks who have celiac or do not eat gluten- almost entire menu is gluten free or can be gluten free. Deserts are fabulous too! read more

I have only been here once, so far. I ordered the Pesto Fettuccini with Broccoli, and zoodles made with zucchini, which came to $22. My favorite food is zucchini anything, and pesto to boot? *chefs kiss* It was alright, a little small though. It included sundried tomatoes, but I would have liked some steamed or raw tomatoes as well for a flavor boost. I've had the same dish with a bigger portion at a raw juice bar for $10. I do love that they are organic and have many options on their menu, but the prices are higher than I expected, even as someone who purchases organic groceries. I'd like to try some of their other menu options eventually. read more

Beautiful food - cute cafe! I recently moved to the Northshore and have been enjoying Organic Garden Cafe. The Pad Thai is delicious. Also, great place if you have a sweet tooth - don't miss the carrot cake! read more

Organic Garden is one of only a handful of raw-vegan restaurants remaining in the US. I feel like there were a lot more back in the 2008-2012 timeframe, but many have closed. I didn't eat of the main dishes here, but I got a range of desserts. The almond chocolate chunk cookie ($3.75) was great: chewy, soft, and with an excellent almond flavor from actual almond flour. The almond butter sandwich ($4) was also pretty good and rich. I thought the blueberry cheesecake ($8.50) was tasty and not too sweet. Lastly, the tiramisu ($10) wasn't bad but didn't blow me away. The flavors felt too subdued to me; if you've had the tiramisu at Cafe Gratitude in Los Angeles, this one pales in comparison. All told, stop by Organic Garden for a dessert or meal. read more

This place is a celebrated neighborhood institution that I hope will never leave us. Their beautiful organic food and staff is always a delight, their hearty dinner bowls for $12.50 are the best bargain in the North Shore for a healthy meal any day of the week. Their personal pizzas and raw pie desserts are delicious, no matter how you slice it. See what I did there ~ ? ^__^ read more

Great healthy food, service and hospitality with a leisurely comfortable vibe offering many mainstream options for healthy eating. I just wish they had more raw unprocessed options available for dishes to expand the raw vegan menu which the original menus were true to. I think it's good to offer options to otherwise non raw but healthy eaters however i am disappointed there seem to be less and less raw food choices than there were years ago. I hope they will expand and reintroduce or make more raw vegan options available in which case I would gladly add the 5th star! read more

I visited Organic Garden Cafe on a sunday afternoon for lunch with my cousins. One of them insisted on it because of her dietary restrictions, and I'm pleased to say it was the right choice. First, their expansive drink menu is wonderful. You can have anything from a nice glass of organic wine, to a matcha latte, to a wheatgrass shot. The service is also excellent. Everyone who helped us was a sweet as can be. For lunch we ordered the Thai Bowl, the Sprout About Salad, and the Pure Pad Thai. Everything was excellent, but the star was the Pad Thai. Wow! For raw pad thai, it was pretty darn close to the "real" thing. The flavors were delicious. I got a couple of desserts before I left as well. I would recommend the vegan carrot cake. So good! Overall, I had a perfect experience and I would certainly come back. It can get a little bit pricey but for organic, clean and fresh healthy food, its worth it! read more

Superbly tasty cashew-based hot drinks: I loved the tai-chi chai. It's not too sweet either, nicely balanced. The order was brought to table, which is a pleasant exception to most coffee shops. Finally, the plants and decor made it a step up from most places. I'll be back. read more

Had lived in bev for years as a student and came back a few years later to visit a friend. I'd never tried here but needed some healing of my body after some adult beverages. My friend said the cheezy kale chips were BOMB.com, so I got an order of that as a side with the buffalo tempeh wrap. I added quinoa for free and 1/4 of an avocado for a dollar. While ordering I found the prices to be rather steep (I mean the kale chips were SEVEN dollars), but my body NEEDED this and I was very hungry so all rationale was out the window. I do want to say that a full avocado added to your item is a $4 charge.... HEH?! Anyways, my wrap was the size of a small baby. Aka GIANT. It was UNBELIEVABLY AWESOME. The buffalo tempeh was an awesome replacement for chicken, the shredded carrots were plentiful, the wrap was pressed to actual perfection PERFECT, and whatever the sauce was in it I could drink a quart of. Cheezy kale chips (could I make them myself? Maybe.) but honestly they were delicious and maybe I'd pay $7 for them again if hungry again. My friend got the corn chowder and she was flabbergasted by the fact that it was as delicious as it was AND VEGAN. Honestly I was a little jealous she didn't offer a bite lol! BUT I FEEL THAT she only got a small. Anyways, will certainly be back here when I need good quality food for an expensive but FAIR price given the quality of food you are RECEIVING. read more

Wonderful, colorful bowls and salads with nuts, homemade falafel and veggie burgers, sprouts and many other healthy options. Refreshing drinks and coffee and homemade chocolates. It's no wonder people were coming in and out picking up their takeout. We ate in the modest eat in dining area only one other person was in here and they had some informal outdoor seats as well. They recycle everything and compost!. A fully healthy lunch. My friend took half her bowl home for the next day! read more

Maybe it is just me... but I don't think so. I went there on a friends recommendation with my family. Not only was it very overpriced, but it didn't feel like what we got was worth the price! The food lacked flavor. I couldn't believe it! I mean come on, this is supposed to be organic food that is cared for with careful selected ingredients! Not here. It was bland and boring. It isn't because you have organic ingredients that you can just shlop stuff together and call it good. read more

I don't want to hear any slander regarding Organic Garden (Cafe). For those of us hippy dippy folk, Beverly is lacking in crunchy cuisine, and OGC fills a void. Sure, Life Alive has the ambiance and collectively cool patronage, but who wants to trek into Salem ? Finding a hamburger in Beverly is no problem. But finding tempeh ? Organic Garden is our only bet. Just cross your fingers that you can get yourself a table at their pocket-sized establishment. read more

Cozy place, delicious food, friendly service! We had the grateful and Thai bowls! They were fresh and flavorful!

You will spend an HOUR waiting for Your order, if you placed it online. Customer service is atrocious. I placed my order at 11 AM online, Recieved it as a result at 12:03. Cashier girl was rude and was giving an attitude (no fault on her part, she was also pushing cooks). As a result there were a group of people waiting for their order. I am working and can't allow waiting in a cafe for my order to be done, when I placed it an hour ago. It is disrespectful to people who work and count every minute of their brake. Won't return to this place and don't recommend this place. read more

WOW. I am actually blown away by how I cried my delicious everything I ordered is!!! I have lots of food intolerances so there is very little I can eat, and this menu is extremely impressive for how healthy AND tasty everything is! I got a London dog which was incredible, and the pesto fettuccine which Is literally better than any other I've tried. I also had a live bagel and although it was flat it was SO good I ate it plain! There were smiley faces written all over my pickup order which seriously brightened my day. Will be back - thank you!!! read more

Ya'll. I've really been trying hard at this vegan thing but your girl has had a rough go. Some days I just do not want to make a meal or I'm tired of the same old recipes, ya feel me? Well, I recently moved to the area and was super excited to hear of this cafe just down the street from me. A perfect option for when I'm just not feeling it or want to try something different. So, today I gave it a shot and ordered the Za'atar Curry Bowl for takeout. At first, I was surprised by the portion. It's seemed small for the price, HOWEVER, it was packed with flavor. Creamy, crunchy and a hint of sweet, it hit ALL the spots. The highlight of this dish for me though was definitely the chickpeas. It was filling enough but I could've had more because it was so good. OG Cafe...you'll be seeing me again and soon! read more

We were so lucky to find this place. We had been doing touristy stuff in Danvers and were starving! Found this place and luckily a table opened up right when we walked in. Thank goodness! This place is completely vegan and has raw items too. We started with some beers, bottled but fine. We had the Quesadilla for an appetizer which was different than anything I've had before but it was really good. We had the Buffalo Tempe Wrap, Harvest Bowl, and Enchiladas. For dessert we had TIRAMISU!! Ahhh so good! And the carrot cake. Also good but not as decadent as TIRAMISU. What a treat! The only negative is that there is only one bathroom which is super popular. We had to wait 15 minutes just to get our chance to go. read more

Such wholesome, vibrant, and delicious plant based food!! They use fresh ingredients in all their dishes, so you feel amazing after eating a meal. My all time favorite is the Thai bowl! Full of grains, veggies, and that amazing peanut sauce! The vegan nachos are also very tasty and they are generous with the toppings, especially the avocado. Other things I really like are the turmeric chai latte. My mom would make these growing up, so the flavors were so familiar. Also, can't go wrong with any of their smoothies and juices. Def a go to for me, especially when the staff and management is super friendly! read more

From the outside we drove past glanced at this small joint, nested along a busy street. we drove around in circles for a good 20 min before finally finding a spot behind the restaurant. walking in a quaint little place with lounge like music and different buddha paitings. according to one of the chefs (missed getting his name) thr paitings were by a famous painter and each buddha had a different theme. we were lucky enough to get a seat, there was only one table left for two smack in the middle of the restaurant! the ambience waa a little packed, and our table was a little tight. i went with with the nut butter squash raviolli and my oh my it's the best one I've ever tasted! a nice creamy sauce that was so good we kept dipping our burrito in it! it had a nice nutty taste from the cashewnut and a spicy taste that i can't quite place my finger what it was. the portion may seem light but i must say it's perfect enough so you don't over stuff yourself. we also got the chuck berry smoothie -- i think it had a nice blend of blueberry, , almond milk i believe and agave. it was so good we ordered a second! i really like this place, though it is a little pricey but given the organic vegan flavor it offers, definitely worth every dollar! read more

So, I admit that I didn't realize the Buffalo Tempeh Bowl was more of a salad than a bowl (typically, bowls have grains and are a smidge more substantial). However, the dish was so delicious that I really didn't mind at all. The tempeh was prepared perfectly and the buffalo and cashew ranch sauce nicely complemented the tempeh and fresh veggies. I also tried a few of the chocolates behind the counter. Yes, everything was pricier than you might expect, but I felt like the quality and freshness warranted that. Overall, I left satisfied and felt the food was very well balanced and worth the price. Also, but thumbs up to the service gal who was really friendly. Sometimes, the smallest of interactions can really makes someone's experience feel special. read more

Figured I'd try this place on a Sunday night and had it delivered to Peabody via Uber eats. Got the pad Thai and a sun burger. Sun burger was pretty good but nothing fancy. Basically glorified Morningstar farms veggie burgers on decent bread. Rather dry. Had to add a sauce from the fridge. Was bummed on the Pad Thai though, didn't contain hardly any noodles at all. Just cabbage and sprouts with some cashews that looked like they were dropped in a hot kiln of clay and served on a plate. Meh. Place could use some improvement, quality and taste wise. It was okay. read more
