I've worked nearby this establishment for years and have frequented this location over a decade. Yet somehow managed to forget to post a review. I am so sorry! But if you want fresh amazing poke- this place is it! No doubt about it. Do yourself a favor and come check them out. My coworkers love it here! Their poke bowls are the best!!! And if you're extra hungry- get the monster bowl! Mike and the entire staff are all very sweet. They do the best job creating the bowl to your specific liking, right in front of you!! It's a small hole in the wall in a business building. You can't miss it just look for the umbrellas and people eating outside. There's also available bar style seating inside. They can get busy, especially during the lunch rush. But you can Order ahead online as well! This particular visit, even our Frenchie was Wowed at WOW BENTO!! Thank you so much!!!! Love eating here! Never disappoints.
Placed an order via DoorDash and order arrived fast, accurate, and fresh. I thought it was unique they offer scallop as part of their scoop options. My fault for picking half rice and salad for base. I didn't realize how much cucumber and seaweed salad it comes with. Had I known this, I would've skipped it altogether. I love spicy food so chose the highest spiciness level. Don't do that to yourself! All I could taste was how mouth numbing and spicy everything is. It dwarfed all the other flavors of the poke and the only thing I tasted was cucumbers in every bite. Given how fresh and tasty the meal was, I wouldn't mind reordering for a light and refreshing lunch. Just be mindful that when you pick spicy, it really is HOT!
The places tucked in a business area so keep your eyes opened. The staff was very welcoming. It smells very fresh inside flavors are good. I ordered a monster bowl and I just had a slightly different idea. I've been to other pokey restaurants and this one would be the equivalent of their small to medium bowl. The flavors again are amazing. Ingredients are extremely fresh. Just wish that it looked more like a monster bowl. I might try it in the future if I'm in the area

From start to finish my poke bowl took about a minute to order and pay. Fish tasted fresh and their sauce options are split into heat levels. Got medium and it was delicious and perfectly sauced. It was probably a 5/10 spicy, would go hot next time! It's not about size. Give it a try, Wow Bento will definitely make you say Wow!
Wow Bento is the best poke bowl spot I've found in OC; their fish always tastes fresh and the portions-to-price ratio isn't bad. The service is fast and the women behind the counter are friendly. My only forewarning is that there isn't much indoor seating (just a few stools) and it gets very busy at lunch due to being in a business park. It's definitely a grab-and-go sort of establishment, but their online ordering system is great and has always allowed me to skip the line and grab my food quickly.

I've tried most of the poke spots in the Lake Forest area so I was hoping this would be my go-to. I've been here a long time ago and got a regular bowl, if I remember correctly. This time around I ordered a Monster Bowl for pickup. The 5 scoops of fish sold me. So, I ordered all salmon, avocado, seaweed salad, ginger, crab meat, white rice, cucumbers. and medium spicy sauce. It wasn't long before my order was ready to be picked up. I hurried and grabbed my food and ate it when I got back to work. What did I think of it? - Monster Bowl: 5 small scoops of fish on what seems to be the same amount of rice you would get in a regular bowl. It tasted fresh and delicious though. It just looked identical in size to my coworker's regular bowl that I picked up. Service was good, the staff is friendly. Parking spots are available here and there. It's a business complex so there's always cars parked here (at least during the weekdays). No indoor seating is available. Definitely a place worth trying, see if it "wows" you!
this spot is literally right across the street from my job ! It is definitely hidden, but I am so glad I found it. Everything was so fresh Poké bowl was amazing. Great customer service very clean and the prices weren't too bad. Definitely worth it. I will be back very soon. Thank you.
Small poke bowl gem! Nothing fancy, but the food choices are fresh. They move the line quickly. There is limited seating outside but perfect if you come just before noon. My colleague and I arrived here at 11;50 am during the work week and we found a table no problem. We both had meetings at 1 pm and we were back in plenty of time ! This is my go to place for lunch when I'm in town !
This Poki bowl place is amazing. Salmon, tuna, spice tuna are all good. Place is a little hidden. But this place is worth the price you pay. Poki bowl price is quite cheap compare to other places. I guarantee the price and taste.

I've probably eaten here at least 20-30 times, and they have never disappointed me. Their fish has been fresh every single time, and they are always incredibly consistent. Their portions are also very reasonable! Pro tip: get the unagi sauce drizzled on top of your bowl at the end :) If you're in the area, I highly recommend that you give Wow Bento a try!
Excellent poke in a tiny shop. You'll find the place tucked in an industrial area. Kind friendly ladies will serve you the freshest tasty poke bowl around. I enjoyed double salmon, scallops and added avocado. $12.50 + $1 for avocado. The mild sauce hit. Definitely coming back!

This is a great spot to grab a lunch on the go. My poke bowl was fresh and delicious. I enjoyed the cucumbers and the crunch on top. I was watching my carbs, so I did my bowl on a bed of lettuce. The ambiance is casual and the service is great. read more

found this place is on my way to my next appointment. and the menu photo showed $8/bowl (should have looked closer to the date was posted 11 yrs ago). it's located in a business plaza, found it as it's got a few umbrellas tables outside. very welcoming small place, 3 ladies behind the counter helping fill the bowl. I asked for a poki salad, she showed me the bowl size and I ordered the smaller one. then she asked me if I wanted rice, white or brown rice. (other poki places I've been to does include both rice and salad), so I picked brown rice. then all the sides, I picked octopus, salmon and spicy tuna. and all the trimmings. the fish looked fresh. when I saw the end results, I asked where is the green salad? that's when the last lady fill the sides of the bowl with mixed greens. then came the shock, the total was about $15. the size of the bowl is very small for this price. although the food was fresh but too expensive. read more
Wow Bento is located in Irvine, but it's basically bordering Lake Forest. When I went a couple of years ago, there was no seating inside; it was just a tiny shop where you walk in and order according to the steps on the menu. I asked for a poke bowl with salmon, and the cubed pieces were so small haha. Everything tasted fresh and went well together (fish, salad, toppings), and luckily there wasn't a long list of flavors or sauces like at other poke shops. I honestly thought the simplicity would let the poke shine in the bowl, but I think the portion and/or cube size weren't generous enough to let that happen. So, I do agree with the other Yelpers on the small portions and sizes. Though I liked my poke bowl, I'd prefer to go elsewhere for poke due to the small portions and out-of-the-way location. It's found in a random corporate-looking plaza close to the 5 freeway and has a decent amount of free parking. read more

This place is OK, the fish is fresh, reminds me of a poke place in Hawaii, but they don't have many options for sauce, they don't really communicate that well, and they're all about speed and small portions. I got a Poké bowl and a tea for $18, there was not that much fish compared to other places, the sauce tasted a lot like sesame oil and Sriracha , when I asked for a side of soy sauce, I got one packet, when I asked for a few more, they made a big deal about that and gave me two additional. Doubtful I'll be back :( read more

This poke joint is located amidst different business warehouses and can be a little hole in the wall. It is ran by a Korean family and is definitely on the smaller end. Most people just grab and go. Their menu is fairly simple as well. Fish is always fresh and service is always very friendly. Only gripe is the portion sizes for the fish can be on the smaller end. Even with the monster bowl (5 scoops of fish), I was barely full after finishing it. There are definitely other poke places you can go to for larger portions, but the quality of the fish here is usually top notch. read more

Food: Price for poke bowl is affordable compared to most places, fish/sauce/topping selections are basic and a little boring. $1 extra for a small (not even an ice cream scoop size) of avocado. Service: Was answering a work message on my phone, but got yelled at by the owner/cashier (an older woman) that my order was ready. She was a little condescending as I approached her to pick up my food. I would not return here. read more

I admit - I didn't have high hopes for this place. But - it actually wasn't too bad! Price point won't break your bank and the amount of food they gave was just right. I opted for a regular bowl with half salad and half brown rice, had spicy tuna, salmon and shrimp as my 3 protein options. Very flavorful and would recommend if you work in the area and just want a quick/cheap/filling lunch. Or even if you're just in the area. My only complaint was that they couldn't really hear me through the plexi glass and they weren't really speaking loud enough either. Anyways, happy to have found a new poke place near my work! read more
