21 July - 3 August 2016 Scotland/Ireland Golf Vacation My husband and I, along with 9 friends recently went on a golfing vacation to Scotland and Ireland. Worldwide Golfing Adventures specializes in golf vacations and tours. The founder, Ravi Coutinho and his partner Jonathan, did an incredible job working with us to put together exactly what we wanted to see and do! Everything was absolutely first class. Our drivers were great, the hotels were absolutely perfect, the sightseeing was fantastic, and the golf was amazing. Our golfers played world class courses like Kingsbarns, Jubilee, Tralee, Trumps, Old Head, and the legendary Old Course. Because these courses are typically hard to book tee times for, it's best to approach a company with experience. Also, it was my husbands 60th birthday, so when we arrived the Old Course Hotel we had champagne and cake in our room waiting! A very thoughtful gesture we will always be grateful for! As for the rest of us not playing golf, we setup tour excursions in the surrounding areas of where we were staying. The tours were everything we hoped for--amazing and beautiful. The drivers were very friendly and helpful. By, the way, we rode first class in Mercedes coaches! They recommended great pubs and restaurants for lunch and dinner, they also recommended get places to shop. Fell in love with fish and chips in both countries, and the baby Guinness shots are now a tradition amongst us girls! We highly recommend Worldwide Golf Adventures and will definitely use their services again. I did a lot of research and price comparison and no one came close to cost, service, and customer service like they provided. Worldwide Golf Adventures is located in Austin, Texas. Ravi and Jonathan were great! My trip started as the trip from hell, through no fault of Ravi's or Jonathan's. My outbound flight was cancelled due to a mechanical and American Airlines choose to cancel it so late that I couldn't make any flights that would get me to Shannon to meet the other 7 guys. I called Jonathan and relayed my sob story and he helped my by arranging an Airport lounge for 6 hours in Heathrow and a driver to take me to our first hotel. Then when my rebooked flight was delayed, he arranged for a hotel at Shannon airport. Once I finally met up with my group, it was first class all the way. Our driver, Tim, was fantastic and very accommodating. Calling ahead to the hotels to alert them to our arrival. Arranging dinner reservations, pointing out the sights. Restocking the coach with Guinness, beers, sodas, water and snacks. Then the hotels were all five stars. The Europe and Old Head were truly special places. The group played Doonbeg (which I missed due to my flight cancellation) , Tralee, Old Head, Dooks, Waterville and Ballybunion. Except for the first day at Tralee followed by a spectacular evening 9 holes at Old Head, the weather was crap. Sideways rain and blowing like stink. At Ballybunion, blowing 50 mph ahead of a hurricane. Such is Ireland golf, or so I hear. Anyway Ravi and Jonathan are good, but even they couldn't control the weather. If you go to Ireland, I can't rave enough about Old Head. It is by far the most spectacular golf course I have ever played including Pebble Beach. Sheer cliff ocean views from every hole. Waterville and Ballybunion should also be on your list. Ravi and Jonathan can help you make that happen. read more

With no qualifications I am confident in recommending Worldwide Golf Adventures (WGA) to plan and oversee your golfing trip. I have always been the "organizer" in my circle of friends. As such I have experienced the highs and lows of plans made but experiences varying. WGA's planning and execution of our trip to Ireland (Donegal and Northern Ireland) was flawless. It allowed me, the organizer, to enjoy the trip with absolutely minimal effort (I joked my only job was to count people on the bus). Like all global business, partnership is key. WGA's selection of Kerry Coaches as our on the ground transportation deserves a commendation here as well. Dan, our bus driver and guide, was amiable, entertaining and professional. Additionally, choice of hotels was on point, in terms of quality as well as location. In terms of the golf, even the exceptions were handled flawlessly. When scheduling a golf course became an issue WGA provided superior alternatives quickly. In fact, the "substitute" course was greeted with rave reviews by my golfers. Of course, our weather was perfect but I hesitate to give WGA credit for that. Bottom line? Fear not if you decide to use WGA. They get the job done. read more

Our family just returned from a week in St Andrews, Scotland on a trip arranged by WGA. There just are not superlatives adequate to state how perfectly our trip was planned and executed. From the ease of having the tee times arranged, to the reservation of our outstanding guest house, complimentary tickets for the non golfers to a wide variety of popular attractions, our luxury car rentals...we were a group of six, everyone had a blast and we could just enjoy Scotland as WGA had handled the details. Along with lovely and useful! Parting gifts, WGA sent restaurant recommendations, packing lists, travel information and our detailed itinerary which I downloaded on an a travel app. We will definitely book our next golf adventure with WGA. read more

I typically don't write reviews but Ravi and his team at Worldwide Gold Adventures put together a great trip for myself and 3 friends. We flew to Scotland and played golf at 4 fabulous courses and attended the British Open on Saturday and Sunday and it couldn't have been any better. Everything they promised went as planned. The driver for the week was fabulous and went above and beyond to help us out. One of my friends luggage and golf clubs arrived a day late and the driver went to the airport for him to pick up the next day. The Bed and Breakfast we stayed at was amazing. These guys are first class and I highly recommend them if you are planning a trip. read more

Just got back from a golf adventure in Northern Ireland. Played on three great courses - Portrush (The course where the 2019 British Open will be played), Portstewart (The front nine is the best 9 holes of link golf) and Royal County Downs (The number 1 ranked course in the World per Golf Digest). We had a great time. Accommodations were great, transportation for the five days was excellent, courses were all that we imagined and the working with Ravi and Jonathan was terrific. We now know what fairway bunkers and heather is all about. Looking forward to our next golf adventure down the road. Will definitely use Worldwide Golf Adventures again. Tom Waring read more

I recently completed a Scotland golf trip with seven of my golf buddies. Thanks to the WGA and our rep (Ravi) it was a fun and memorable experience. The courses and accommodations were superb and we were fortunate to have great weather on all of our golf days. The ground transportation provided by WGA was excellent and all the drivers were friendly, informative and helpful throughout our time in Scotland. Special kudos go out to Ravi for making sure my hotel pick up and drop off went smoothly as I traveled to Scotland several days ahead of our group and stayed a day longer. I would definitely recommend WGA to anyone or group planning a golf adventure. read more

Ravi and his staff at Worldwide Golf Adventures did an excellent job of arranging an incredible couples trip to Scotland in July. The guys all played St. Andrews, North Berwick, Archerfield, Gullane, Kingsbarns and Carnoustie on six consecutive days. While the guys were golfing the ladies had arranged tours to distilleries and other landmarks in the Edinburgh area. All of the arrangements and associated logistics came off without a hitch. A great trip that left me hungry for more. I will definitely use Worldwide Golf Adventures to arrange future golf trips and would recommend them to anyone who is considering a trip. Thanks Ravi for a great trip! read more

Had worldwide golf adventures plan a trip for our family of four, two of whom were playing golf. They did a great job with all logistics - hotel reservations, tee times, drivers, suggested courses. It was first class all the way. They also provided very helpful information before the trip about what to take, restaurant suggestions, clothing suggestions, tipping standards, golf etiquette in the U.K., etc. Anything we had questions about were answered. We were looking forward to a memorable trip and Worldwide Golf Adventures delivered. Highly recommend this company. read more

We have just returned from a trip to St. Andrews, Scotland and Dublin, Ireland, a trip that WGA put together for us, and I cannot say enough good things about this travel company! Our accommodations were wonderful, and transportation was always on time. The golfers played Kingsbarns, Carnoustie, and Portmarnock, and enjoyed all three courses. We all enjoyed the many excursions we took, for which WGA provided the admission tickets! If you have a dream of taking a wonderful golf vacation, Ravi and Jonathan can put together a fantastic trip that fits your budget. read more

Just got back from a week of golfing in Scotland and the trip was FABULOUS!! Ravi and Jonathan put together the dream trip for us. They even got all five of us on the "Old Course" at St. Andrews. The lodging at Montague House in St. Andrews was perfect. There was one hiccup with the bus company that was supposed to pick us up after a round and even though it was about 7am locally for them, Jonathan had a replacement bus there in 20 minutes. (Not sure how he pulled off that magic trick.) We're looking forward to our next golf adventure planned by WGA. read more

The staff that set up the trip were great. Payment was set up electronically...easy peasy! We had eight golfers and they got us on the best tracks in Scotland. The private transfers and drivers were very personable, prompt and took care of all our personal needs. The drivers were flexible which made it easy for us to change plans, if need be. The hotels were great with excellent breakfast menus and service for all of us. This was a bucket list that I will be doing again! Thank you! read more

Ravi and his staff made it super easy to plan our golf trip to St. Andrews in Scotland. We had an array of accommodations to choose from as well as golf courses. Our hotel was fantastic and everyday when our private driver was always on time. They take care of everything...tee times, car service, caddies, etc. We even got in the lottery and were able to play the Old Course at St. Andrews Golf Links while we were there. Hands down the best trip of my life! Thanks again. read more

Worldwide Golf Adventures put together our first class trip to SW Ireland. The entire process was smooth and simple. The guys there do a great job listening to your needs and then putting an itinerary together. If something should go wrong during the trip (such as delayed flights), they proved highly available to help figure out how to keep the trip going and connect you with your group. Had an awesome golfing trip and I would use them again in a heartbeat. read more

Ravi @ Worldwide Golf Adventures set everything up for us, from our rental car, hotels, sightseeing tours and especially golf at some of the worlds greatest and iconic golf courses, including the Old corse at St. Andrews! 8 courses in Scotland in 9 days! Great trip! We stayed in the Johnnie Walker family home near Inverness, ate dinner at Loch Ness and stayed at the Russacks hotel at St. Andrews. Our driver David was great, he let me use his clubs for 4 days while I waited for the airline to find mine, took us wherever we wanted to go and made the trip hassle free. read more

Greatest golf trip ever! Ravi and the guys set everything up perfectly, and all went exactly to plan. Most certainly the trip of a lifetime. The lodging, golf, whisky, and beer tastings were unreal. Such a good time that I am going again next year with some more buddies! read more
