Food did NOT live up to my expections. Ordered a Straus Barista (not regular) whole milk upon arrival had a poorly and unstable refrigerated regular Straus whole milk gallon with no cream top. The cap was swollen/convex, suggesting spoilage-related gas formation. Curds were visible against the glass as indicating coagulation. The milk had a pink hue upon arrival suggesting bacterial growth difficult to capture with phone camera. The Cupuaçu drink was bitter and not edible. It tasted overly fermented and oxidized. The beef empanadas pastry dough was undercooked from the bottom. Overall not a pleasurable experience, very disappointed as I had high hopes.

Full morning spread sitting outside :)

What a beautiful Sunday morning at World Green Açaí Bowl Juice in Larkspur. After seeing them featured on an episode of Check, Please! Bay Area, we've had this spot bookmarked for a while now and made the drive. Ironically another couple who we met outside did the same! The downtown area of Larkspur is so adorable, first time checking it out and a pretty short distance from the East Bay with no traffic. Worth the drive to spend time walking around this area for a beautiful and slow morning. There's a trail behind World Green Açaí Bowl Juice, fyi if you want to have a little scenic experience post-meal. We ordered the ham/cheese sandwich on the Original Cheese Bread and for the Açaí bowl, we went with the Tikuna Açaí Organic Sorbet Bowl (açaí, banana, raspberries, blueberries, honey, house-made granola). What makes this spot incredibly special is the fact they mention use of 100 percent açaí berries that are organic and fresh, unlike most others that are powdered açaí that has been freeze-dried or frozen açaí pulp used at other açaí bowl spots. They also mention their menu is a taste of true and authentic Brazilian food ~ organic, non-GMO, and using vegan products. We loved our meal ~ the cheese bread is delicious on its own (the amazing waiter gave us one in a bag to-go for our walk), but accompanied with ham and cheese for a quick breakfast sandwich..stellar. Warm and gooey in all its glory, superb and highly recommend! I've had Brazilian cheese bread before, but never sliced in half with yummies in between. Will def try it this way again in the future if given the opportunity. The açaí was delicious and yes, I believe you can truly taste the difference here. Loved also how fresh the fruit and granola were, the perfect toppings to the bowl. You can also build your own bowls, and there are larger bowl and topping options on the menu, but this one seemed just right for the price point. I would recommend sitting outdoors rather than taking to-go to truly experience the meal. Such a cool and helpful staff that went through the menu with us since it was our first time, and even helped us with our stroller outside since it's a bit tight. Loved loved loved this experience ~ such a great product and look into Brazilian cuisine. Well done!

    Combo breakfast

I can't believe I have never written a review for World Green Açaí!! I've been coming here for the last four years, and it is by far my most favorite cafe ever. The açaí is the best I've ever had, once you eat it you won't want a different one. It's so fresh and pure, like nothing you've ever tasted. My favorite thing to eat is the combo breakfast, with a cheese bread waffle, scrambled eggs, a mini açai, a coffee, and a fresh juice. They have recently started serving some Halal meat too, definitely ask them about it. This is amazing because as a Muslim, I can try a lot of Brazilian foods that I might never have been able to eat before. Like the empanadas :) Laura and Roberto our wonderful business owners, and have a warmth to them that makes me come back. The café itself is really cute, with a lot of plants and greenery around, you forget that you're in Larkspur! I would highly recommend this place.

Açaí bowl . Also the peanut butter bites.

This place is my go to for açaí bowls. I can tell the quality in the ingredients. So different from all other açaí bowls cuz it's real deal açaí. This place is a whole vibe. I almost feel like I'm in Brazil when I eat outside in the patio. The staff feels like family. They are so nice and friendly. I'd give this place 10 stars if I could.

Highly recommend this place! I just love it so much. I've been here so many times, and every single time, staff and service are always 100% on top of it. We first discovered this place while on our way to Santa Rosa and I have made an effort to stop by here as many times as I could when I go in this direction. Parking is never a hassle, w/ tons of spaces available right in front. Don't be fooled by the location or the tables that is visible. They have a couple of tables out front but so many more in the back. You can order either via the kiosk (front) or inside. Dogs are welcome (which is a plus!) Bathrooms are for their customers, so you gotta ask them. Staff are absolutely ALWAYS so friendly, service is extremely fast, interior/exterior design and ambience just feels welcoming. I really wish this place was closer to home. Some of the things we always get from there are pitaya and strawberry smoothie, pineapple and mint juice (my personal favorite), and tbh, any of their açaí bowl is really good. Also, they have this peanut butter bites that they always give as part of your order and it's absolutely tasty. I can't say enough good things about this place and quite frankly, there's only positive things to say. Some owners don't bother to say hi or bye outside of their restaurant, but here they do. I mean...IMO, I just feel Iike they're very grateful and appreciative of their customers. If only they know we are repeat guests/customers, as I'm sure there are others!

I came across World Green Acai Bowl Juice while looking for Acai Bowl restaurants around Marin County. It's got some stellar reviews and though we originally had planned to go to an Acai place in Fairfax, this place had us changing our mind. World Green just so happens to be closer to where we parked and made for the perfect stop on the way back from our ride. This place is super cute. It's decked out in Halloween decorations (just a few more days)! They have a pretty large patio with plenty of seating for customers. They also conveniently have bike racks available for customers to park their bikes, so I'm guessing a lot of bikers stop here. I certainly appreciate how bike friendly this place is! Between my partner and I, we ordered a small Tikuna Acai Organic Sorbet Bowl, a Beef Empanada, and one Organic Traditional Cheese Bread (for my partner). Ordering is done through a QR code that's placed on every table. Although I saw signs that this place is self-service, our order was served directly to us when ready. Service is very friendly here. The guy kindly explained how to use the peanut packets that came with the Acai Bowl. The Tikuna Acai Bowl looks small, but it actually had a lot of ingredients mixed in there. The organic acai sorbet base was delicious. It doesn't taste quite like the regular Sambazon packets that a lot of places serve. Their base has a slight natural sweetness to it that was made it better. There were plenty of blueberries, strawberries, and banana slices in the mix. The layer of granola was just enough to add a slight crunch to every bite. It was a pretty amazing bowl, but I'm not sure it's worth the price point of $17. Nonetheless, I'm glad I gave this place a try. It's a nice treat once in a while when you're feeling for something a little fancier than your regular acai bowl. Next up their Beef Empanada. I love that their Empanadas are baked. You'll walk out of this place feeling like you've eaten delicious, but healthy food. The Empanada is really just a 2-3 biter, but it's loaded with beef chunks, potatoes, and other veggies. It's not too saucy, but the optional sauce they provided to us on the side added a nice additional component to it. Although delicious, the price for this is also on the higher end. I didn't try the cheese bread because I don't eat cheese, but my partner said this was yum! Not oily, but a nice, light bite. This served as a great bike stop. If you're health conscious or looking for a treat, this place won't disappoint if you're okay with the price point. Staff are really friendly as well and overall, this place has a unique and cute vibe to it!

5-stars all the way for their food and customer service. I'd like to give a huge thanks to Humberto who showed us a great time and catered to our every need. Their açaí bowls are fresh and served in coconut shell bowls. The addition of adding on peanut butter bites into the açaí was fantastic and goes perfectly well with the fruits. Me and my family are huge fans of their cheesy bread rolls and empanadas. The beef empanada is my personal favorite and adding on malagueta red chili onto each pastry is just perfect. It's spicy and vinegary which add so much flavor to each bite. Walking into this place reminds me of a tropical jungle with exotic colors. It feels like something out of Brazil or at least that's what I imagine it to be. This place has a nice outdoor seating space but please be aware of the tight space for baby strollers. I cannot to come back again! Special thanks to my bro in law, Vic, for pushing us to come here and my other bro in law, Nate, for introducing and telling us about more Brazilian dishes and speaking in fluent Portuguese to the store owner.

Nice local place for smoothies, acai bowls, salads, and Brazilian cheese bread along with a feeling of a cozy, family-run spot. The mango and passionfruit smoothie I had was enormous (and I ordered their small) and had some nice sour yogurt and fruit: it was not a super sweet smoothie. The acai bowl eaten was, according to my guest, "the real deal!" Located in Larkpur in the public parking lot across from Left Bank, World Green Acai Bowl features a green-painted plant filled interior with tips of the hat to the owner's Brazilian roots --soccer balls, flags, canvas draped outdoor seating. There were actually a lot of Portuguese speaking customers here, and they must like this taste of home. The owner was friendly, and made a point to greet everyone and check in. Things move slowly and well-placed signs remind us throughout this cafe that "There Are Only Three of Us" and to be patient, so you may not want to come here if you are in a hurry. Come in for a cozy, relaxed, relatively (cheese bread!) healthy meal or snack.

Whenever i'm in the area i always stop to come to this place it has very tasty acai! The price is on the higher side, however it is a friendly family ran business so it makes up for the extra cost. There is lots of outdoor seating with a covered patio surrounded by beautiful plants.

    Açaí bowl.

Really good açaí! Awesome environment and service! I highly recommend! Is the only place where you can find the real açaí.

Most of the inside seating was full, only 2 tables for 2 were available (were were a party of 3), but a nice lady (might be the owner's daughter) with 2 small children got up and came up to me to let me know she was getting ready to leave soon. She moved all their stuff and the 2 children to one of the small tables so the bigger table could be cleaned for us. They were a little short handed that day (owner said someone called in sick), so just the owner and cook were working. Bother owner and the cook worked fast to clean the table so we could be seated. More people came in after us and sat in their outdoor seating (a little chilly to sit outside that day). The owner did a great job serving all the customers by himself. The cook would help deliver the cooked food as well and help with customers if he wasn't cooking. The owner was apologetic about the slower service, but in actuality, it wasn't bad. As for the food, we ordered our usual, the Picanha Steak Platter (feeds 2-4 people) which is our favorite and over the best deal. Unfortunately in the past 2 years the price has gone up by about $20 (currently $70.99), but is still a great deal for 5 steaks on a sizzling platter (cooked to the doneness you want), rice and beans. The meal was delicious as usual. They have other great selections as well. Check them out for some great Brazilian food that is made to order.

Sandra, who seemed to be one of the managers, was very polite, attentive, and professional the entire time. She and the team she was leading had a lot of tables to take care of, but she still handled everything with kindness, patience, and a good sense of humor, and we appreciated that. Even with how busy and chaotic things were, she remained gracious and helpful throughout the experience. The Brazilian drink she introduced us to was also very good. The restaurant was extremely crowded and it clearly seemed understaffed for the number of guests they had. The meat service ended up being very inconsistent, and everyone at our table tried different cuts because certain selections simply were not making it to all the tables equally. Even so, because of the professionalism and effort from the staff and the way we were treated, we may give the restaurant another chance in the future.

I didn't realize that there was another side so I sat on the register side. I ordered the Picanha plate, coxinha (it's like a chicken pastry), and the carne pastel. Because you order first you don't really get any service other than them dropping off your food. I don't know if they offer water. I did try to ask for some, but they didn't hear me and I was too scared to ask again The coxinha was a bit mushy for me on the inside. The pastel was huge, I can't remember if they were $7 or $8 each but I thought it was worth it, the ones I've had had in Brazil was definitely smaller. My Picanha did have a chunk of fat on it and my fries were undercooked but I still enjoyed it. They also have a little market that you can check out. I will definitely be back.
