I came by the other day after having lunch with my parents (who live in the area). I found a spot in the parking lot and walked inside. Thankfully, I came at the right time, as they were about to close (make sure to call, as the hours listed online were different than the ones posted on the door). I ordered 3 plain churros and a large melon smoothie. I saw there were a few churros sitting out, so they just rolled them in sugar. But the smoothie was made to order. The churros tasted very good and warmed up a bit, but I could tell they were not fresh, as they were a little chewier than I prefer. The smoothie was delicious, smooth to drink but not too thin. Next time, I'll come earlier in the day and hope to get a fresh batch of churros. read more

Light, crispy, and delicious churros with different filling options. We chose the plain ones with cinnamon sugar yummy

I love this place, been coming for years, all the small businesses around them have shut down, except for here. They always come through, especially when craving churros. They make sandwiches, burritos, etc. Everything is made with love, very friendly ladies, they know how to hustle. It's great to see local eateries like Churro Station survive the pandemic. This is a no frills type of place, locals know about this hidden gem and all the delicious foods they make. Not many people know they make a lot more than just churros. There's a small parking lot shared amongst nearby businesses. Sometimes there's no parking on Medway whatsoever. 'Til next time ~ cheers & see you on Yelp (SYOY)! read more

They make the best churros. I bought them for the kids at my school. The kids loved them.

When I went there, they had no lines and the churros were only $2.84 for 3 churros. They were very kind to me and quick to serve. I was craving for churros and started searching. Lo and behold, there is a churro restaurant just exclusively churros set aside sandwiches and smoothies but now I know there is a churro place when I am craving for churros read more

Rating them solely on their churros! Shop is tight-kint, but their churros are worldwide! I got 6 churros for about $5.86. These are authentic churros not like your amusement park kind, so these are actually fluffy in the inside. You can get dipping sauces for the churros like caramel, strawberry, and etc. The shop also serves food, i didn't get a chance to try it out, but i would love to come back here to give it a try. I Really enjoyed this place, you don't always come across churros! read more

The ladies were really nice at Churro Station. I wanted churros for dessert on Cinco de Mayo. Of course, Churro Station sounded like the place to go. It was! The churros were warm, the dipping sauces were many, and they tasted delicious! read more

Very thick, not really churros honestly . More like bread. And the prices are a little high

So sad to report that these Churros are without a doubt the worst Churros I've ever had. These churros must be at least a day old and the oil that they're fried in isn't fresh. read more

Churros are now my children's favorite food in the world! We've tried churros from all corners of the bay. From theme parks to mom and pops bakeries. But it wasn't until going to churro station that the kids finally found some churros they actually love to eat. We got an order of 10, and the kids were reluctant to even try them at first. It wasn't until they saw my wife's reaction that they decided to try them. 5 mins later, there was only dust of cinnamon and sugar. I myself was intrigued by the grilled chicken they were preparing, and ordered myself a lunch plate and their melon "liquado". I will be heading back for it all. The melon smoothie was a huge hit. The grilled chicken was cooked to perfection, and the rice and beans were delicious. I definitely want to explore their menu outside of just the churros. Everyone was super friendly, and I noticed that two other customers that came were on a first name basis with the employees. You can tell they get a lot of repeat customers. Love these kinds of places. I'll be posting some pictures after out next visit. Might be later today after just thinking about it. Mmmm read more

Sometime it is not all about good food or service. Sometimes it is about humanity. Well as embarrassing it is i ordere churros and a Strawberry Banana Smoothie. And i have been here the very first time. The Churros where good fresh and the sugar / cinnamon mixture was applied just before i got them. The Smoothie was just delicious, I will have to try the savory items on the menu somewhat the next time. But then it happened, i realized i left my wallet at home (and of course not taken Apple Pay since i had my phone with me). Already had eaten one churro while i had to wait for the smoothie. And what did the lady say: its ok - you come back and pay. She even handed me the smoothie! Wow THIS is great customer service in times like these, thanks so much for the trust in me. Needless to say that i was there 10 minutes later with my wallet and payed! Thanks and you should try the smoothies, i am no expert in churros, but they have been fresh and good. read more

I've never had a problem going to Churros, I love there food and I'm a loyal customer but today I was really disappointed! I ask the ladies if they can put my food TOGO because I was running late to work. They told me that my food was already really and they weren't able to move it into a TOGO box! Well when I was standing there waiting my food wasn't ready! They had time to move it into a TOGO box! Know I'm eating on a very soggy Plate! The manager wasn't there today and i know she would of done something about it but the ladies where just lying about "It's to late to move it into a Togo box" I'm very upset! read more

Churro Station - Coffee & Tea Near Me - San Rafael, California

When you take a bite of a churro, what do you expect? Most would expect a balance between a crispy and chewy dough, a warm soft bite, that signature cinnamony sugary taste, thats not overpowered by doughiness. Unfortunately this place is lacking in all those areas. Being named Churro Station you would expect amazing churros: warm, crispy, chewy, sugary, but unfortunately the churros dont even live up to the restaurant's name. The churros don't even seem to be kept that warm. They are placed in a heater, but it didn't seem too strong, as the churros lost every ounce of warmth in like 3 minutes. The cinnamon coating was not too proportional as some churros had more cinnamon than others. Perhaps one of the worst things is that the doughiness of the churro overpowers the cinnamon coating. There is not enough cinnamon in proportion to the dough. And service here isn't the best either. No warm welcome or thank you. If there is a pro it would probably be the cost, because or was a good deal. 11 churros for $8. Overall honestly Costco is better when it comes to churros. The Churro Station is pretty much as good as any low quality junk food can get. read more

Churro Station - Bag of Churros - Coffee & Tea Near Me - San Rafael, California

What a simple, yet brilliant concept! A little 4-table hole-in-the wall dedicated primarily to churros, but also offering other Latino treats. After recently learning about this "churreria" on yelp, it moved to the top of my list of new places to try out. What's the first thing I try at Churro Station? The huevos rancheros special of course. It was actually pretty decent despite the uninspiring presentation on a styrofoam plate. It came with eggs (over-easy or over-hard) covered with ranchero sauce, refried black beans, crema, a nice block of queso fresco, and about five corn tortillas. The only thing I found a bit off was the coffee. The almighty churro I saved for dessert. It was, as you would expect, very good. Crispy on the outside, delicate on the inside, and covered with a healthy dusting of sugar/cinnamon. I was too full to try the churros "relleno" (filled with cajeta, chocolate, or pineapple, etc). Definitely next time... Churro Station is in a relatively "divey" section of San Rafael. I'd rather not get into the socio-economics of Marin here, but just take my word for it that the only "Real Housewives of Marin County" you'll encounter in these parts are those picking up their Benzos from a nearby auto-body shop. I'm not really a fan of churros, per se, but I like this place. I was in the neighborhood because I needed to drop some things off to Delicious Catering (which is next door). Being near noon, and a hunger building, I popped in to see what they had on offer. I was pleasantly surprised when I noticed they had sandwiches, and extremely pleased when I actually tasted my sandwich. It might be the Churro Station, but their sandwiches de jamon are definitely worth visiting for in their own right. Of course, there's also aguas frescas and Mexican coke, etc. Everything you could want in a small little eatery. Oh, and don't forget the telenovelas blaring from the TV the whole time. Gotta have that. Another reason I love this place was because when I ordered in Spanish the lady went with it the whole way, and when she was making the sandwich looked back coyly and told me I spoke Spanish very well. Right then and there, madam, you made a repeat customer out of me. read more

It's hard to find really good Guatemalan food anywhere. I have tried so many restaurants and I have finally found my place. Don't let the name fool you. Churro Station is more than meets the eye. This tiny hole in the wall, is a hidden gem next to some industrial buildings in San Rafael. The menu is small but it delivers on so many levels. My favorite dish is the Guatemalan Enchiladas. They taste as if they were home made and like they have been prepared with such an attention to flavor. Sandwiches are also real tasty too. Don't take my word for it. Try it out and thank me later. You are welcomed !!! read more

Wonderful little store :-D If you like, you can order churros sin azucar, solo con canela (no sugar, only cinnamon). Try the churro relleno (stuffed). And they must be accompanied by the Mexican hot chocolate (although it was a bit watery last time; hopefully an aberration). Consider stopping at Churro Station on your way to, e.g., Muir Woods. read more

12 for $20. Just brought these to a brunch at my cousins and they were all the crunchy on the outside, chewy, doughy goodness you'd want a fried piece of sugary, cinnamony dough to be. They would kick a doughnuts ass right in the hole. When we got there, they were out of churros (930 on a Saturday), so we had to wait 20 min for her to make some more. Worth the wait. I only wish I could have gotten them filled. She told me I had to use the dipping sauce, so I bought vanilla and cajeta. Place was super busy and full of mexican people...except me, constantly buying churros and other stuff. Not really a sit down place but they do have 4 tables. They take credit cards. I'd go back if I was rolling through San Rafeal again. read more

Open 7 to 6 Monday through Saturday, 7 till 2 on Sunday. Which means your churro craving can be addressed just about any time you like. This is a good thing. LOVED the churros here, and the woman behind the counter was very sweet. She didn't speak English but luckily we speak Spanish so she was able to give us the lowdown on ordering the churros. Tip: Get the cajeta with the churros. Sooo yummy. Parking was difficult in their tiny lot, but it was definitely worth it. read more

Churros! My Dad is very good friends with the owner. She has watched my family grow up. Both her and my dad are amazing cooks. When we finally heard of Churro Station we were happy to hear that she opens up her own business! We were there from the beginning and this place is delicious. It is what you would call a hole in the wall but this little gem is worth it. Amazing Churros that are stuffed! Yummmm. Mouthwatering, crisp and soft inside! How can you not resist. It's worth a try! Let me start by saying, place small for maybe 12-15 people max. Food its great, I love the Crossaint with egg cheese, the cook the eggs ( I havent seen its like those boxed eggs) I like the Tamales Central American Style Churros well they are good, I try not to eat much flour. Parking kind of sucks I guess since its a small place and nearby business share the lot. it tends to get busy. So your lucky if you find a spot. Street parking leaves you with few spots. Otherwise its a great small eatery. Try " Chuchitos" read more

Mediocre Churros that could be good in a pinch when you need an energy boost for cheap. Didn't get a satisfied feeling after eating the Churros here. Also they could clean up a little bit inside. Also I wonder how many 75 cent Churros you have to sell each month to make rent? read more

Ummm, where else in the world can you find a restaurant devoted to churros?! I LOVE the bay area! I found this place while navigating on Yelp and decided to go check it out. My husband and I happened upon the place when they were doing some sort of a promotion, and they were handing out little mini churros and sombreros. Even our puppy got in on some yummy churro action :) They have all kinds of different churros: custard filled, chocolate filled, fruit filled and just plain. They also serve sandwiches here, so if you aren't in the mood for some fried dough and sugar, but you are with someone who is, you will both be satisfied here! The location is weird and seems kind of seedy, but definitely worth going to for some good ole churros! read more

So, I had been really CRAVING a churro and decided to drive from Oakland to San Rafael to get one. Don't get me wrong, it's an okay churro, but it's nothing special. To be honest, I like the churros at El Pollo Loco better and the ones at Costco or about as good. Churro Station does beat as far as variety with churros filled with Nutella etc. Also, they sell Mexican hot chocolate, but out of the machine not the authentic kind. read more

TERRIBLE. First time here, never going back. Happily ordered 10 churros. Received them, immediately took a bite and I got 10 COLD Churro. Not warm, but cold..
