I found myself craving empanadas, surprisingly, just as I passed. I decided to be adventurous. It was a very nice place, service was great and people were friendly. You could tell it was a neighborhood spot. They had great variety of meat and veggie/vegan options. Highly recommend. read more

I LOVE Empanadas. I like to try unique flavors from all different places. The atmosphere here is just a small restaurant but the selection is vast. However, I got a combo with two empanadas and a side... and everything lacked flavor. In order to enjoy the empanadas, I had to cover them in the salsa from their salsa bar. I give three stars because I only got savory ones and the sweet ones looked incredible. May be back to try those! read more

Love this spot! I'll travel across the entire stretch of the Valley just for you. Not one empanada has ever disappointed me, so I usually settle with buying a dozen. I also love the tortilla soup - savory & packed with flavor. My only complaint is that when I ordered a full size of the chimichurri sauce only the top layer contained the herbs/spices and the rest was mostly liquid (probably red wine vinegar & perhaps the bottle of the barrel). Thank you for existing! read more

They were good. I had the chicken and soy chorizo empanadas plus for dessert the Nutella empanada. It's takes a bit long but Its a good thing if you have time because they cook them when ordered, I assume. read more

If empanadas is on crave list then this is a must stop. We tried several but our favorite was the Santa Fe. It is spicy and full of flavor. These empanadas are very affordable and delicious as well. If your packing a full car you may want to plan on taking these to go. Space is SUPER limited in there. There's only room for about 20 total to sit. It's one small round table and a few bar seating. However the place is clean and tasty. read more

Always spot on! Great vegan options :) I recently went to Joshua Tree on a mini vacay and ordered "take and bake" for the first time. Quick and easy to cook, lasted us a few days. read more

I love this place! I would be there every day if it wasn't so expensive. The breakfast burrito was delicious and all of the empanadas have been wonderful. Just be prepared because I can easily eat three or four and they are like four dollars each Which is a lot for take out. But I'll keep coming! read more

I really like this place with the exception that some of the empanadas have so much bread on it. I understand they are trying to make them look different from each other but maybe they can brand it instead. Otherwise don't worry I eat then. Yum. Yum read more

I ordered 1 empanada, and it took this place 17 minutes to get me checked out. If you order at the window expect to wait a looooong time. I recommend calling in your order. I was unimpressed. read more

The food here was edible but not incredible to me. I was working a session and we decided we wanted some empanadas, so I found them on Yelp.I tried to order through yelp but it wouldn't go through for some reason so I decided to call. The guy answered and told me to order online he couldn't take my order over the phone, so I stopped working and got in my car drove to his location and when I went in the the guy behind the counter gave me an attitude. All in all it's hard to believe places like this stay in business giving customers a hard time. It baffles me. Needless to say, all around I would never eat here again. Good luck. Lol read more

These brothers are as good as it gets. Their sauces and beverages may been even more epic than their excellent empanadas. It's fun to have such yummy choices that support locals here in Burbank. Thanks, guys! read more

Lots of vegan options here! We tried a few different kinds and they were all delicious and flavorful. The house made salsas/sauces were very unique and complimented all of the flavors nicely. To top it off they had an amazing vegan desert option. The flaky dough tasted great with both the sweet and savory flavors. read more

I love that they had vegan options. I am Argentinean and for empanadas, they do not have that argentine home taste. If you really enjoy meat I recommend you go to Mercado Buenos Aires. My family really didn't like them. Judging that I am vegan and haven't been able to find any vegan options of empanadas, it is a good place. Very small and cute. I just wish they had other flavors. I would like to see them bring in beyond meat tofu flavors. I made some empanadas at home and I liked them way better than these ones. read more

I've recently discovered this place and have been obsessed with it! They have an amazing deal where you get 2 empanadas of your choice plus a "side"- which can be a really good tortilla soup or salad + a drink. The empanadas are big and stuffed well. I highly recommend the Chile con carne and Santa Fe Chicken empanadas! read more

The empanadas are still totally fabulous here, at this bright cheery place. But I had to knock down my score because of my last visit for a couple of reasons: 1) They just reorganized their customer area, taking away a community table for 6, but adding a bar height round table for 2. Gives more room inside because of the lines, but now there are fewer places to sit. It's primarily a take-out place, so I won't complain too much. (Remember to reheat in the oven or toaster over, never in the microwave!) 2) BAD COFFEE SITUATION. If you do plan to eat in, the coffee is not very good. But worse, they have no sweeteners (basically an F-U to all the diabetics out there), and the sugar they do have is that Sugar-in-the-Raw, which is awful for coffee and doesn't really dissolve. Plus they only have milk, no cream or half and half, and you have to pour that from the huge gallon jug. 3) NO PLACE FOR SILVERWARE AFTER EATING IN. There are trashcans galore, but no place for dirty silverware. I guess you just leave it on the table???? There doesn't seem to be quick wipedowns of the tables I saw (after patrons leave), so this would be kinda nasty. If W.E. takes some action on the above (items 2 and 3), I'll be happy to restore my fifth star! read more

I love this place! The empanadas here are AMAZING and they have great customer service! I can't believe how close I live to this place, and barely discovered it! I had the cheese empanada and it went well with the Chimichurri sauce. read more

Then empanadas are good & they have all kinds of varieties; vegan, vegetarian, meat, sweet and savory. They also have salsa (not spicy). Parking is a hit or miss on the street. Enjoy!! read more

OMG...the potato empanada is a magazine, which they would lowered the price so I can afford them more often

My boyfriend was actually raving about this place on how good it is, so I had to go check it out myself. I fell in love as soon as I took that first bite into my chicken empanada. So delicious and the employees are very friendly as well! I would 100% recommend this place to anyone who is looking for that home cooked meal vibe. read more

OMG! I found this place by accident. Such flavors, such varieties, such amazingness. I plan to get fat here. I'm not from this part of town but I will make my way here again but next time I'm going to take a few more dozen home to fresh them. It was worth the drive. read more

Perfect and delicious empanadas I tried the chicken it was amazing. The mushroom cashew was too salty but still tasted great.

Fresh to order and delicious. We had potato and cheese, Beef, ham & cheese, BBQ was the special this week, tried a Nutela and banana(OMG). Then today we had some Bacon, egg and cheese and a mixed berry to finish breakfast. I really like that they are baked not fried. Very delicious and healthier then most. Thank you thank you thank you read more

Best empanadas I've had in LA. By a long way. And a great selection to choose from. Spicy potato!

These empanadas were pretty amazing. I am so happy they have vegan ones; I tried all of them. The soy chorizo and mushroom with cashew cheese are both really satisfying and yummy. My only trouble with dining in was that all the seats were high barstools. With a two-year old, that's not an easy situation. They did have a high chair but it still wasn't high enough for the table. Still, this will be one of my go-to places for vegan noms. read more

For some reason(okay maybe because I'm a foodie), I wanted some empanadas. I searched high and low, near and far My daughter was in a tournament in Burbank, so I searched empanadas in Burbank and Yelp came to the rescue again! I purchased a dozen of Take and Bake empanadas on Saturday for a business meeting (I work in Oxnard) on Tuesday. I put them in the freezer and thawed overnight. Popped them in the oven on Tuesday morning for 15 minutes and then took them to work. So let's just say that (ahem...patting my self on the back) that they were a BIG HIT. Everyone asked for the business name, address, etc. I bought an assorted variety include beef, chicken, spinach and cheese, potato and cheese, and my favorite was the chili con carne Oh and that chimchurri was to die for! No doubt that I will be back. read more

OH MY GOD! Never had empanadas but in my culture we have something similar and let me tell you this was by far the best tasting one I have ever had! The dough was perfect! I personally think it's all in the though. This one was flaky and not too heavy. Was cooked perfectly. I got the sante fe one. Fantastic! I would visit again in a heart beat. My husband is on a diet so he couldn't have any but he had the salsas they make and said it was AMAZING. Would highly recommend. Oh and a bonus that the staff was super sweet :) read more

(1/100) Heard about this place from my sister before it's relocation here...had my doubts about it...then one day I finally discovered for myself the magic!! For one, these babies are curated by loving hands and then BAKED...which means they are much healthier for you than fried. Once served, you top each bite with chimichurri sauce and must eat while fresh. It then settles perfectly in the stomach and I would have to say it is the best empanadas I EVER had EVER! Recommendations: *Eat it fresh/Bake before eating *Quinoa and Lentil *Pinto Beans and Rice *Horchata *Chimichurri sauce read more

A tiny little place that packs a punch. We went in not knowing what to expect and were pleasantly surprised by the array of empanadas and fresh pasta. I went with the combo, having the beef and spinach/cheeses empanadas. The beef was good the spinach/cheese exceptional. There is a small salsa bar with 2 kinds of salsa and a chimichuri sauce. I chose the chimichuri, it was ok, but the empanadas are the true stars here. Looking forward to trying the dessert ones and ordering from them for parties in the future. read more

I have been here 3 or 4 times now and I feel like I have sampled almost all of the flavors of empanadas, and I can confidently say this place is decent. As a fully grown adult male, I think about 4-5 empanadas is a full meal for me so it's a little on the pricey side after you throw in tax and stuff, but they have a deal if you buy 12 or more and you can buy some to bake at home as well. It's a cool idea to have a place dedicated to just empanadas and definitely a good, unique meal. Pretty much everything I have had here has been at least decent. I have not tried any that I have disliked (although I feel confident I wouldnt enjoy quinoa and lentils but that's neither here nor there), but here are my favorites and least favorites: My favorite flavors are: chili con carne, cheese and onion, breakfast, and berry The ones I think are fine but nothing special: ham and cheese, santa fe chicken, nutella banana Cool spot with quick service, even when they cook fresh ones for you. Lots of street parking nearby too! read more

Always amazing! Such a variety, very well priced, and delicious. You won't regret coming!

These guys make the best vegan empanadas I've ever had. Get the vegan mushroom and cheese ones. I get these as often as I can!

Very cute little spot for lunch! Empanadas are made to order so expect a small wait or call ahead. I got a good variety of fillings but my absolute favorite was the chile con carne and the potato one. Did not really favor the Santa Fe, lentil, or plain beef (they're not bad just not meant for me). Service here is very nice. Also priced around a little under $3 each :) read more
