I'm talking about thick, hearty, made in house chunky salsas. We got saudero tacos and I believe the single tortilla was also made from scratch. Unlike other tacos, the one corn tortilla was perfect and there wasn't a need for two. They were not stingy with the protein at all and I love that they were hearty and perfectly chunky pieces of saudero. Turned around and parked down the street on Burbank Blvd. It was quaint upon entry, but I was the only customer. Went simple and order 5 carne asada tacos. Got my order pretty quickly. Each taco is on 2 tortillas. I would eat with one and let meat fall onto the second. Nice that I didn't have to scoop it all up with my fingers to clean my plate. The carne asada had a nice smoky flavor reminiscent of the flavor of a Tacos El Gordo taco. Taco craving satisfied.

There are more than 30 food trucks to choose from. Come early though because long lines form easily and favorites might run out early. Businesses remain open during the event and offer specials such as discounts and free samplings of their products. Lots of free private and street parking. People walk up and down the boulevard browsing stores, avail of samples and discounts, buy food and desserts from the trucks, etc. They come in groups, either with family members or circle of friends. A lot of people also bring their dogs along with them for a good walk. This is a fantastic event to attend to so if you are interested, mark your calendars every last Friday of each month and enjoy one fantastic evening along the boulevard.

It is also very conveniently located in the parking lot of Firestone auto/tire center, with fairly ample parking as people come and go all night. They also provide some tables and chairs for you to sit, socialize, and enjoy the food while the DJ plays music in the background. The one downfall I would note is that the food trucks that actually show up do not necessarily always match the confirmed list of food trucks they post beforehand. Therefore, don't come expecting something specific (just in case that truck doesn't show up), come with an open mind to try various things!
