When yer boy heard bout a Baco spot not too far from where I live I knew I had to get me sum. Now this ain't a Bäco spot, this is a Baco. Burger and taco got together, made a baby and now fillin yer boys tum with some delicious grub. They got three items on the menu: Taco, Burger, and Baco. I got me the Baco and Burger, both were dope AF. I read that Jonathan Gold used to try everything on the menu and I guess imma have to go back to finish that menu. I got nothing but respect for these boys slangin that heat and they were real hospitable to yer boy, that don't effect my review, but you gotta love a spot that's puttin love in they food and in them interactions.

OH MY GOD!!! I just had my first Baco - ever!!! it's a taco with the burger inside of it....and I just can't explain it...you have to go try it for yourself.......don't take my word......take yours - taste it.......and realize a new bold flavor to burger meat and taco meat and everything in between. +=

My new obsession, BACOS!!! The food here is amazing and the service/environment is even better. I can't chose between the baco and the burger but would definitely recommend trying the baco first time around because it's like nothing you've ever had before! 10/10 would recommend!

Something new, something really good, something to keep getting over and over again. A flavor that doesn't get old...in fact it brings back memories. My personal favorite is the burger...but the Baco has its own special spot in my heart. This is something new and definitely worth a try. The best part is that Arthur, the man behind the Baco, puts true love and passion into his creations. Everything tastes better done with love. Looking forward for the next and the next. Make sure to come out and give it a try. Give your tastebuds a chance to experience something super delicious.

We were thrilled when we saw Smokey Cow resumed business and we were lucky enough to get some scrumptious BBQ before heading back to NorCal. Our favorite was the Beef Rib. This trip our favorite was the Brisket. My son said it ranks up there with Franklin's and Jack Black's in Texas, home of some of the best BBQ in the nation. The Brisket had an excellent smoke ring, nice seasoning and most of all it was super tender. Just outstanding, hard to get this good of brisket. The Beef Rib and Pork Ribs were pretty good but probably left on the grill just a tinge longer so it wasn't quite as moist as the last time I had Smokey Cow. I also had the homemade Mac and Cheese, pickles, chips and cole slaw. They make everything including the sauce except for the chips. Brisket 5+ Beef Ribs 4.25 Pork Ribs 4.25 Mac and Cheese 4.0 Sauces and sides 4.5 Great guys 5.0 Overall, excellent BBQ, nice guys and priced normally for BBQ faire. On my next trip to SoCal, I will be stopping by to get excellent BBQ and great service. If you haven't been there before, look for the alley entrance that goes behind the houses where the garages are and look for the lighted entrance. Go early, you don't want to miss out on some of the best BBQ in the area. Smokey Cow is my #1 BBQ, Swinging Door #2 and Bludso's #3.

Like you're in the old days especially their iconic artwork on the wall really blew me away!!!! But I normally don't eat smash burgers, because of the past dissatisfactions, but this place has won me over in the quality that they possess, the SAUCE, 10/10 & it's not only that the special was a great deal, but it was the best burger I've ever had, so were the fries - very crispy in the outside and medium in the middle like gold. The kitchen is a home kitchen with a house keeper washing the dishes by hand. It is a help yourself type of situation. BYOB and pour it yourself. There is a total of 16 seats per night. 6 of us in our reservation. They dim the place for the ambience. Food wise - Total of 7 courses - last 2 was the dessert. There is no printed menu, so you'll just have to ask what it is that you're eating and why the main course -steak- was served first. We were asked to keep the utensils through out the course as they do not change your silverware for every course. Cringe. I had such a high expectation with the food prior to dinner. It felt flat - Everything. The only thing that we like was the corn bread. The steak was tough - some us got super rare and some got overly done tough. Some flavor combination just didn't pair well. Something with a fish dish but sour like hell. Another dish was blue and it just did not look a dish coming out of a fine dining restaurant. Funny the people that were there was talking about Somni, Providence, Melisse.... It just did not even come close. It's like going to a friend's house who's practicing to be a fine dining chef. Pics of the food is posted in this review. None of them was impressive. It just did not go well together. When it came to the 7th course - it was a shaved ice. The Asian assitant cook brought them over and said it's Mandarin ice. So we asked, can you give us a little bit more description... his response was so rude that he said "it's ice with mandarin orange flavor". Oh ok - now you say mandarin oranges. But his condescending attitude is not appreciated. The night is ending and the Chef has not once come to the table to say Hi or introduced himself. People started to leave and he decided to speak to some remaining guests. Then he gets stuck with that particular guest for a long time until everyone is leaving. We probably just had like a Hi and Hello thank you for the food. He seems nice though. Then we all left. We clearly didn't even care anymore at that point. Bad food and bad experience. No parking. Good luck finding a parking on the streets on fountain and Vermont with all the homeless around. It's a hype. It's mysterious because it's really not listed as a restaurant. Not for everyone.

A Repeat Visit That Did Not Disappoint!…read more We first visited Centanni Italian Restaurant in Burbank a little over a month ago, and we were so impressed by the food, service, and overall atmosphere that we knew we had to come back. The restaurant is clean, cozy, and inviting, and the service is genuinely warm and attentive. We were especially happy to see Dania again--she was wonderful during our first visit and was just as knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly this time around. She always has great recommendations and makes ordering such a pleasure. On our first visit, we ordered the Calamari Fritti, and WOW--so good that three of us easily shared an order and still wished we had more! The Cavatelli with Italian Sausage Ragu was wonderfully creamy and flavorful, while the Tagliatelle al Ragu was simply perfection. The NY Steak Ravioli was my personal favorite--rich, savory, and absolutely delicious. The White Pizza also wowed us. And we can't forget the fresh house-made pastas--they are truly something special. But honestly, the complimentary house-made focaccia bread deserves its own shout-out. I could eat that stuff nonstop! For cocktails, we tried the Classic Mojito, which I preferred, and the Pomegranate Mojito, which was enjoyable but a little on the sweeter side. Fast-forward to today, and we were back with additional friend and once again, Centanni delivered! Because we loved the Calamari Fritti so much the first time, we ordered TWO orders this time. Let's just say they disappeared FAST. We practically cleaned both plates down to the last bite! My wife ordered the Cavatelli with Italian Sausage Ragu again because she loved it so much on our first visit--and she loved it just as much today. I decided to try something different and ordered the Homemade Pappardelle with Mixed Wild Mushrooms and White Truffle Oil with Italian sausage- Another winner in my book! The pasta was perfectly prepared, the mushrooms added wonderful earthy flavor, and that hint of white truffle oil brought everything together beautifully. Then came the Guazzetto di Pesce ordered by our 2 friends--OH MY! That lobster broth was incredible! Rich, flavorful, and so comforting that I could honestly have had a bowl of just the broth. We also took advantage of Happy Hour and sampled a few cocktails. The Rosso Spritz was a favorite for me, the Margarita was very good, and our friend went back to the Classic Mojito from our first visit. Every drink paired perfectly with--you guessed it--the irresistible house-made focaccia. Two visits in a little over a month, and Centanni has definitely earned a place on our list of restaurants we'll keep coming back to. Great food, beautiful house-made pastas, delicious cocktails, a cozy atmosphere, and wonderful service--especially from Dania. We'll definitely be back again and again!
