I have had Teppanyaki madness twice now in ordered through DoorDash. They have high-quality food and it's pretty tasty. There are a number of up charges for things like fried rice or noodles. So if you keep it simple, you can save a little. The chicken is the best value and I would recommend the noodles. The one feedback I would give is their Yum Yum sauce is a little skimpy. If they can put in a little more into the container, that would be great! Otherwise great experience as usual.

The food here was amazing and the service was great. They serviced us very fast and the area where the truck is at has parking lot so you can eat in your car or outside of it. Great spot to go too

I cannot accurately explain how much of a gem this spot is! We found it while looking for a new hibachi spot because the one we usually go to downtown is SO expensive. Low and behold, one right around the corner from me! The truck is located on the corner of Vineland and Victory by the Target. We did the lobster & steak bowl and the chicken bowl (not pictured because I inhaled it). The food was so tasty, so fresh, and ready in like 15 minutes. The portion options are 32oz and 48oz, which is SO MUCH FOOD at an amazing price. Shoutout to the spicy mayo, which is also the best I've ever had. The last time we were here, we did the shrimp and steak bowl. As we already had our bag and were in the car about to leave, one of the employees ran to our car and said they forgot the shrimp, asking us to please pull up to the truck so they could get it to us. He then gave us the shrimp and two sodas for the inconvenience. I mean?!? Exceptional service, food, and prices. We are now regulars!!

Terrific service! The staff is helpful and accommodating. They make a great meal considering the circumstances!of no tables or brick and mortar comfort. There are some chairs to sit and wait for your food but this is more a take home and eat than anything else. Surrounding this venue are other choices of food and also dessert. Especially if you are in the mood for churros, funnel cake and crepes. The filet was asked to be medium rare and the shrimp was firm but tender. There is a great garlic and butter flavor with soy sauce. There are a variety of sauces to take with including teriyaki, sriracha, spicy mayo, ginger sauce (my personal favorite) and even more garlic sauce. I do miss a nice mustard sauce like the restaurant version of this meal. My shrimp dinner was $18 and the filet was $22 (regular size 42 oz). There is a menu available online through Instagram but not one displayed. Only pictures with no prices listed. Also only single proteins are listed in the menu. Any combos must be asked for the price (I.e shrimp & filet $36 (reg sz) and lobster & shrimp $40 (reg sz)). I would come again if I want my meal fast and easy without the show!

Very greasy fried rice.

First time ever trying teppanyaki style of food and def not impressed. Ordered the medium fillet mignon with fried rice. The fried rice was drenched in oil. The protein was very small portion and dry. Every bite was a mixture of oil and garlic. The filet mignon was ok. Panda Express fried rice is better that's sad to say since this is a food business that specializes in making fried rice. Most definitely over priced. Will not be recommending or returning.

Leo and his team are truly professionals. They catered a holiday dinner for us and made it special. The food was all fresh and delicious. The filet mignon was tender and seasoned well. My team was very happy with the portions and the condiments provided. We will definitely consider again in the future.

I've said this before...just because a place is close to my home, I don't need to patronise it…read more Maki Noho is one of those places. Consistently a dud. Silly me! Their poke was okay. But the sushi, at least the variety I tried, was awful. The pieces were as big and thick as hockey pucks - they were HUGE. I couldn't fit them in my mouth in one bite, so I had to stab at them and mash the components around. The "spicy" tuna was flavour-free and way too mushy, almost runny. I've noted the takeaway horror stories from other Yelpers; I did not have an issue with that. But dining in at the space itself feels like eating at a 7-11. Harsh white lights, boxes and cleaning supplies parked willy-nilly, aggressively loud pop music, and the weirdest high chairs and low tables. Very uncomfortable vibe, with terrible food to boot. May they feel free to close.

We did end up waiting about 15-20 minutes once we arrived, but that wasn't a big deal. The restaurant itself is very busy and hectic. Unfortunately, the service was extremely slow. I understand they were busy, but it took forever just to place our order or get water refills. Overall, I would rate the quality of the sushi a 3/5. The yellowtail sashimi was extremely cold, almost to the point of being frozen, which was a little off-putting. It still tasted good, but the temperature definitely threw me off. The rolls were pretty good overall, but I would skip the lemon roll next time. It had a very fishy taste, and I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to be or if it had something to do with the quality of the fish. Overall, not a terrible experience, but given how popular this place is, I was expecting a little more, especially when it came to the quality of the sushi and service.

Ordered the Daichan special with option of chicken or beef teriyaki and I chose chicken. Special comes with shrimp and vegetable tempura and a croquet. Alright, this place is amazing!…read more Great atmosphere, friendly servers, lovely space, incredibly delicious JBBQ! My sweetie and I ordered the "regular" AYCE at $55 pp. What a great deal. You may order any appetizer, vegetable, sushi, most meats on the menu- The $79 pp is every meat. I can't remember which ones are the "special" meats- probably the Wagyu. Appetizer choices are numerous- we had the stellar squash tempura, spicy garlic edamame, eggplant- swoon, buttery shitake mushrooms. Tried some sushi as well, perfectly serviceable, however next time I will save sushi for another place. And you will need to be strategic to leave room for the delectable grilled proteins! For proteins, we ordered both shrimps (so fresh!), filet mignon, chicken, brisket (very thinly sliced - my favorite!), flat-iron steak, pork belly slices... Oooo-weee it was a ton of food! All of it was high quality. Interactive and fun- grill your own on the tabletop grill. Fun! We left with Absolutely no room for dessert. Rolled outta there, fat & happy. We loved Oku-Niku

However, it seems prices are not so high anymore, so we went. Sadly, the food disappointed for the most part. One problem is the parking situation. It is nearly impossible to find a spot anywhere near the restaurant, and the fact there are numerous other dining spots on the block only makes things even harder. When we got there we had a friendly attentive server. However, he switched shifts with another server moments after we ordered. That led to many problems. The waitress who took over was almost never in the dining room. Dishes we ordered were sent to a different table. A Shirley Temple drink was ordered and it took nearly 30 minutes to be made. This is ginger ale and grenadine. Except, it wasn't even ginger ale, because they don't have ginger ale. It was Sprite! Oy! As far as the food, one big problem were the awful dipping sauces. I don't think I've had a problem with the dipping sauce at many if any other Asian bbqs in the past. However, the missus hated the soy or ponzu based sauce and wouldn't eat it. I used it, but it was not good. The meats were totally decent quality. The problem is their marinade isn't a soy based yakinaku type sauce like most Japanese BBQs. It was Japanese barbecue sauce and it tasted like barbecue sauce. Not a great flavor. The prime beef fried rice, gyoza, garlic noodles were the better dishes, though none particularly impressed. The cucumbers were soaked in ponzu sauce rather than pickled like sunomono or in a spicy sauce like cucumber kimchi. It was unmemorable. The chicken karaage was edible but unexciting. The spicy tuna on crispy rice was good, but they went soggy very quickly, which made any except the first one or two eaten not very enjoyable. The crispy garlic jalapeno chicken wings were god awful and inedible as far as I'm concerned. I'm sad the place wasn't better. I wanted a place to go that hopefully was somewhat cheaper than Manpuku - the best Japanese BBQ in LA. However, I wouldn't return for any of this food, and I can't recommend it to anyone. Avoid or try at your own risk.
