Located in the heart of Los Feliz, Hollywood -- with a parking lot‼‼‼ Angry Chickz serves simple but insanely crispy spicy chicken No worries -- you can choose your own spice level! I can only handle mild This little spot also has a cute, unique Hollywood mural, adding extra fun to the spicy experience IG: socalhkfoodies

Delicious! Two sliders and fries for $17 is a great deal! Shared it with a friend and it was a perfect afternoon snack. We tried no spicy and one mild and both have their distinct vibes and both were tasty! The fries and sauce were also delicious. Well balanced sandwich and on par with other tasty and reliable fried chicken sandwiches but not quite in the upper echelon of fried chicken sandos. The vibes and playlist in the place were excellent and my man behind the counter was SUPER friendly and really had a great energy so shoutout to him and the other woman working there today. My guy put a pickle on top of the non spicy one to make it clear and I gotta say that's genius! I was going to give 4/5 for overall but I'm changing to 5/5 bc I had a great sandwich, great company, and good vibes and service!

I'm so excited #3 combo made to perfection!

Oh my gosh! Alejandro has the best, I mean tip top service, recommendations, and accommodation. This location is the real deal and a true gem. I was just here yesterday on pick up and order, and suddenly I'm taking a break from deliveries to eat here. I mea. Wow. It's on the strip, it's got ambience, character, friendly service, knowledgeable employees, and gosh darn if you haven't had Nashville's hot chicken I will say you're missing out... my food was hot and made to order!

It was sooo good 10/10 ! They have other options too combo #3 comes with fries and two chicken tenders, but you can substitute it for a chicken sandwich! Love it!!

Was in the area last Sunday and my son who's into trying any chicken tenders or sandwich found this on yelp so he said we should have some to go so he can eat it on the way home. We got here closer to 4pm, there's parking in the back so it was easy to get to. Dining area was empty, there was a just a group seated outside. The restaurant has enough seats inside and outside so that dining in will be convenient so I would think they are probably busy most days. My son ordered the combo 1 which comes with coleslaw, chicken sliders (mild spice level) and ordered extra Mac and cheese. I got just the chicken sandwich and took the coleslaw my son has and I have to say that the chicken held up really well when I ate it at home 30 mins after. The spice level is just right for me - I ordered medium - just the right heat. Chicken was tender and moist. Having tried so many other chicken sandwiches my son said this one was better than Dave's hot chicken. He can definitely have it again but we will probably try the one nearby. Didn't know they had one in the valley.

Servers are there in body. It's a person submitting your order to the kitchen and bar (or barista) and telling you where to tap your credit card before you choose a 20% gratuity or more. For breakfast whether you're taking your order to go or dining in, you order at the window on the sidewalk. For inside dining, take your number and find a table. I liked the vibe. Like the wood and warm paint colors that were chosen. The leaded glass windows and touches of warmth rather than bright and airy atmospheres that typically make up SoCal restaurants. The playlist in the background fit the setting. Iced latte was good. Whoever's espresso beans they're using is tasty. The espresso to milk ratio was spot on. The plain scone with clotted cream and preserves were okay too. The porridge with stewed fruits and toasted hazelnuts was a fail. The porridge wasn't hot. The hazelnuts were bitter. And the toasting of the hazelnuts didn't help them. Nuts can turn rancid and become bitter if they're not fresh. The restroom is tiny and they manage to maximize the small square footage. The toilet is incredibly close to the urinal and I almost commend the owner or contractor for jamming both bathroom necessities into the small space. Food was dropped off at our table with nary a word. A bottle of water and glasses are already on the tables so there is no need to stop by and refill waters or check on tables to see if they're doing okay? Or ask how they like the food? Or if they need anything else? Service is almost nonexistent. Humans are walking around, but they appear to be in their minds and their facial expressions--anywhere but servers working in a service industry called the restaurant business. Dining out isn't simply the food. It's the food, atmosphere, and service. Not only Wilde's, but the majority of restaurants in L.A. have stopped making service an important part of their business.

Outdoor patio seating is great, and reminds of eating outdoors in a European cafe. Indoor seating is a little cramped if you're at one of the tables, which also sort of mimics European cafes. My one small knock on this restaurant is the service has been inconsistent. Couple times our waiter was great, but a couple times it was hard to flag them down, they didn't space out the dishes very well as the appetizers and entrees all came out the same time, or they forgot to bring water when we asked for it. They handed out menus and took your order when you were close to the front. Once seated inside, they welcomed you with their signature banchan dishes: the nutty boribap (보리밥), which tastes great on its own but even better with their yeolmu kimchi (radish water kimchi). There's also their tasty radish kimchi and napa kimchi. Throughout the meal, they replenished our banchan multiple times without us asking. We tried two of the new items: Galbi Kalguksu: A delicious, deep-flavored bone broth with knife-cut noodles, shredded fried egg, sliced radish, and scallions. The meat fell off the bone, and I loved the broth, though my husband thought it was a little on the saltier side. Perilla Oil Makguksu: Cold buckwheat noodles in perilla oil. Mixed with sliced shiitake mushrooms, shredded perilla leaf, gim (seaweed), sesame seeds, and scallions. It's a deliciously light refreshing dish if you don't want the heavy knife-cut noodle dishes. Last, I ordered the Non-spicy Seafood Kalguksu. It comes with a anchovy broth with a lot of seafood flavors. It's a lighter broth than the galbi but still rich in flavor. It came with clams, mussels, shrimps and 1/2 crab. There was also sliced pumpkin and zucchini. Everything tasted great. Their servers were very attentive and generous with replenishing the side dishes, and overall it was a wonderful experience. We came as a group of 9 and thankfully, they allow for reservations if you are a group of 8 or bigger. Take note! Especially in this LA peak heat. We checked in with the valet and they gave us menus as we waited about 15/20 minutes for the table to be ready. You will need to order before you are seated and you cannot order anymore food once you are seated, given how popular they are, this makes plenty sense. We were seated inside with cooling AC and the restaurant is quite large inside! It could certainly have several parties in there. Soon, our galbi kalguksu, XL chicken kalguksu, tteokbeokki and XL pork jowl and pork belly bossam showed up. Everything was extra delicious and fresh. The soups in both the galbi and chicken kalguksus were amazing and the hand pulled noodles were divine. We drank and ate everything up quickly. The tteokbeokki was delicious, but too spicy so the rest of the party was able to enjoy it. The bossam was all so tender and had just enough napa and garlic to go with it along with the many unique sauces we could dip all the meats in. Everyone left feeling happy and it satisfied everyone's palates.

If you subscribe to OpenTable notifications, reservations are released gradually, and with a little patience it's pretty manageable to snag one. Walking in, I expected absolute chaos because of all the hype, but the restaurant wasn't overwhelmingly busy. There were actually quite a few empty tables waiting for later reservations. I understand that's how reservations work, but it did make me wonder if some of the "impossible to book" reputation is a bit overblown. The space itself is beautiful. The live wood-fired grill in the center of the dining room is definitely the highlight, and I loved the communal tables that create a warm, lively atmosphere. The warm cornbread with cultured butter was easily the best thing we ordered and an absolute must. It arrived piping hot, incredibly fluffy, with just the right amount of sweetness, and paired perfectly with the rich, creamy butter. The baby albacore was outstanding--fresh, buttery, and perfectly seasoned. It practically melted in my mouth. The beef and eggplant stew, served with fresh tortillas, was another winner: rich, comforting, and packed with flavor. The only dish that didn't really land for me was the pork chop. The cut wasn't my favorite and, despite being cooked well, it tasted surprisingly underseasoned. The mashed potatoes, however, were silky, buttery, and honestly the best part of that plate. Dessert was enjoyable, especially the warm skillet cake with vanilla ice cream, but like much of the meal, it was very good rather than unforgettable. One thing that did catch me off guard was the automatic 4% surcharge added to the bill. It's disclosed, but it's still something to be aware of before dining. Overall, Dunsmoor is absolutely a five-star restaurant. The ingredients are top quality, the execution is thoughtful, the service is polished, and the atmosphere is unique. I just don't personally understand the level of hype surrounding it. I'm glad I finally experienced it, but it's not the kind of place where I'll be watching for the next reservation release. Be careful in the driving structure as there are blind spots of people rounding the Corners going from level to level and it's narrow. That was definitely the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, everything else was disappointing. The rice was so undercooked and hard that it was almost impossible to chew. It honestly felt like you could break a tooth trying to eat it. I asked the staff to replace it, but the second serving was exactly the same--hard, dry, and completely unappetizing. The biggest issue, however, was the restroom. The smell of urine hits you the moment you walk in. It's so strong that it's difficult to breathe, let alone use the restroom comfortably. A restaurant serving such good meat should also maintain basic cleanliness and hygiene. I truly hope the management pays attention to these issues. Properly cooking the rice and finally giving the restrooms a deep cleaning are basic standards that make a huge difference to the overall dining experience. This place has potential, but these problems completely overshadow the good food.
