we ordered 3 of their empanadas: breakfast, spinach and 3 cheese, and chile con carne. the empanadas came out hot and fresh. each empanada had baked-in labels making it easily identifiable. they also came in a convenient cardboard to-go box. not many tables at the restaurant, so more of a takeout place the breakfast empanada was surprisingly good. the cheese was melted perfectly inside; the bacon was not overly salty; and the potatoes were chunky and not overcooked. overall, would enjoy it as a breakfast item the spinach and 3 cheese empanada was veeeeeery cheesy and could be overwhelming towards the end. pairing it with the salsa and pico sauces added freshness and toned down the cheesiness the chile con carne empanada had good flavor and spicy kick. the filling was thick and juices did not leak, so it was easy to eat. paired well with the salsa to balance out the flavors only criticism is that chimichurri was a bit oily. wish there were more herbs in it rather than oil read more

Came here with my pup around 2pm. I love that it's an order window with a couple of tables to sit at. I shared a table with another diner and it was very wholesome. I got 3 -- Chile con carne, spicy potato (vegetarian), and mushroom and homemade cashew cheese (vegan) The spicy potato was my favorite, but all of them were bursting with flavor. YES, the vegan one too! Although the flavor in the Chile con carne empanada was confusing at first, I did end up liking it in the end and the meat wasn't chewy. It was tender. We ordered when we got there and there was a bit of a wait, but everything was pretty streamlined, efficient, and no-contact. Beware though... there are too many delicious options that choosing just 2 may be difficult! Each one I tried was delicious. I got the beef (my fav) and the spinach empanada and my bf got the chicken pot pie (second best for me, his personal fav) and the Chile con carne. The chile con carne is pretty spicy, but the kick hits after the fact. We each got the lentil soup which had a very nice comforting side dish that complimented the empanadas. To finish off, we shared the mixed berry empanada that was to die for! They use fresh berries, and it is delicious and just sweet enough. Phenomenal. Not only does this business make the best empanadas we have ever had, but their customer service and ease of ordering and pick up puts them above the bar. I wasn't sure which flavors to order and Carlos was so helpful with suggestions. I decided to just order one of each flavor and we literally loved them all. They even give you a little reference card/ legend which corresponds to little (edible) letter stamps that have been put on each empanada so you know which is which. Parking: tiny parking lot behind the building, you enter on the side street. There's loads of parking around the neighborhood too. I got here and ordered a couple of empanadas, if you want them hot and fresh, it does take about 10 mins for them to heat it up. They have a tiny counter on he left when you enter where the empanadas are ready to go, so make sure you either get those or allocate enough time to pick em up if you are getting it to go! I got the beef, Chile con carne, ham and cheese, Santa Fe chicken, potato with cheese and dulce de leche. My favorite was the potato and cheese, it was very well flavored!! The santa fe was good too but the flavor wasnt really what I'd prefer inside an empanada. The beef I could tell would have been great if instead of blending in the olive they had just put a single whole olive inside the empanada like most traditional empanadas. Great spot to go to if you're looking for a quick snack to hold you over. The empanadas are delicious and their are a good variety of flavors to choose from. I would suggest the spinach and cheese from the vegetarian menu or the Chile Con Carne from the meat menu. They come out really quickly and are baked to perfection. Their chimichurri and salsa verde sauces are both great also (skip the red salsa). The staff was friendly as well.
