I don't mind standing in line for a good cause, but senseless queuing tends to piss me off. World Bean in Terminal C @ Newark International Airport crossed the line. First I found myself standing in line to order coffee, or at least I thought that was what I was doing. Nope. It was only on the line to pay for the coffee, but if I didn't want a barista to make something for me, I had to join a second line to pour it myself. Two queues for a third rate cuppa joe was more than I could tolerate, so I jumped off the first line and said "goodbye" to Mr. W. Bean. The java on the flight might be hair curling, but at least it was still free with a tea biscuit. Dope.

The coffee is okay, but the layout and process are unnecessarily complicated. Get in one line to order (Hot Latin Lover and Air Beneath by Wings?, props for fun names), then get in another to use the touchscreen payment center (there's only one computer for the coffee/snack stand), then get in another to pick up your order (which after all that still takes a while). The Hot Latin Lover has a horchata flavor thing going on, which was fun but overly sweet. The other drink was way better. The barista calling out completed drink orders had to repeat everything because no one could understand her.

Coffee and cheese danish...interesting order and pay process. It works.

Interesting concept of airport pick up, pay and go. You can order your food and drink at the many iPad terminals. This was confusing to me as I ordered at the counter then had to go to the kiosk to pay...there are no visible instructions on what to do. However there were plenty of World Bean Reps asking if you need help. Got a coffee (can't really go wrong with that). I ordered a Cheese Danish but they gave it to me cold and don't have an option to warm it up. Good place to chill if you have a layover as there are many bar seats around a counter with TV. Also have plenty of power outlets to recharge your electronic devices. Not too bad but the food could be a bit more better if they could do a simple heating of a pastry.

Worst coffee ever. Rude staff too. It was supposed to be a small vanilla latte, tasted acidic and overly sweet.

If you are stuck in Newark for four hours after a red eye morning flight, all you want is a decent cup of coffee. Not too strong, not too weak and where you can dump enough sugar and cream to shock your system into a state of semi alertness. Worldbean does not give you this. They instead charge you $3 for something that can best be described as water stepped in an urn of old coffee beans. I even found some beans in the bottom of my cup. Quite possibly the worst coffee i have had. I'm pretty sure they mix it with the old av gas they have left over in the terminal.

World Bean pushes magazines not food quality or service.

World Bean literally takes over where Dunkin Donuts was...what were they thinking? 3 unmotivated employees man the desolate shop. There are magazine stands on the floor making you believe that is what they really want you to buy.. I bought a $2.88 7 oz small black coffee and an exorbitantly priced danish left from yesterday. They destroyed the whole food court area with these new venues all lined with magazone stands. Pack a lunch.

Why use solid chocolate in an iced mocha? You get chocolate dirt at the bottom of the cup. Disappointing.

The flo tablets don't help, but you cannot hide bad product and worse service behind the tablets. Awful. There's another coffee shop 100 feet away, go there and hope for better... --- Small consolation, i ordered a second beverage and wrote this review during the net 20 minute wait, finally a manager was nearby. I didn't have to say much, she wiped my bill out and apologized. For the record the first drink took longer than 20 minutes with no customers around. If you hire people who don't understand customer services and you replace first contact with a tablet, well...

Average coffee shop in terminal C right next to gate 109. I ordered a large drip coffee ($4) which came out pipping hot! I had to wait about 10 mins to take the first sip. They have a nice selection of espresso drinks, fresh juices and pastries. Service was fast and friendly. There was no line which was a welcome sight having just passed Starbucks which had a line 15 people deep. There are a few small tables if you'd like to sit in the copy shop vs your gate. Overall not a bad place to stop and probably a better choice than starbucks if you are in a hurry.

A lot of complaints are about the prices, but it is an airport cafe in the New York metro area: if you have been in the area the prices shouldn't be a surprise.

Front of the house is more restaurant but in the back is a library/sitting area where you can read a book you brought or one that they have available (see pics). I had a cafe con leche and it was perfect as it came. Also I had the shashuka. I don't eat runny eggs but they kindly scrambled my eggs. The tomato sauce was delicious and it comes with bread. I also got a side of bacon. The staff is really nice and I was able to sit and read. If you are ever looking for a really accessible spot near the train station to eat definitely stop here.

My husband ordered a hot chocolate with oat milk, rich and comforting, and my mom had a chai with oat milk. She enjoyed the flavor overall. Food-wise, my husband ordered the chorizo omelette and was very happy with it--hearty, well-seasoned, and satisfying. I had the salmon salad, which was delicious. The dressing was balanced and flavorful, the greens fresh, and the salmon was cooked and seasoned really well. I will note that the salmon portion was a bit smaller than what I'd seen in some Yelp photos, but the quality absolutely made up for it. My mom had the club sandwich, which was generously sized and filling. She also wasn't a fan of the soft-boiled egg that came with her dish, but that's more a personal preference--she's firmly in the "well-done only" camp. Our little one had eggs and fries and was clearly living her best life. A sweet highlight of the visit was when the owner kindly gave her a cookie on the house--such a small gesture, but it really made the experience feel warm and personal. The space itself feels like a true community gathering spot--comfortable, welcoming, and easy to settle into. It's a great place to work or linger, with free WiFi and a relaxed atmosphere that invites you to stay awhile. Overall, this spot feels cozy, thoughtfully run, and rooted in care. The food is well-prepared, the flavors are intentional, and the hospitality really stands out. We'd absolutely come back for brunch and a longer stay next time.

I immediately stopped on the Vietnamese restaurant with almost a perfect rating at 4.9 stars and 500+ reviews. I'm equally excited, and skeptical. NY/NJ residents aren't the easiest to win over. I walked maybe 6 min to the restaurant. It was a nice sized store front with a well lit dining room, and self and full service kiosk. I was immediately greeted by the staff, I chose to do self serve. Even with that, I still felt very welcomed and engaged once I placed my order. All the items were displayed, and looked fresh. The staff carefully put together a teriyaki salad bowl, and pho for me in about 10 minutes. Once I got the food to my hotel room, I was genuinely impressed. The Pho was so rich in flavor, without being too salty. The noodles were the perfect texture. 10/10. A few hours later after the gym I cracked open the salad bowl. This was referred to me by the staff vs the lemon grass chicken. I am glad I listened, the amount of tender juicy chicken is impressive. The crispy lettuce, and robust tomatoes were a great combination of healthy, and hearty. Bahn & Bo deserves the accolades it's earned, and the one I made up at the beginning. Pro tip: The prices are so good, and so are the portion sizes. If you are looking for fresher, lighter, healthier, skip the Chipotle and Qdobas around the corner, and come here.
