I opted for the salami, the lovely lady behind the counter let my try it first and my mouth erupted with salty, smokey flavor close enough to meet that I was beyond satisfied but not too close that I was hesitant. She LOADED my wrap with salami, carrots, onion, beets (shredded, she promised I wouldn't be able to taste them and she was not wrong), cabbage, vegenaise, oregano and cayenne pepper. There are very few things within the vegan spectrum that I salivate over, this was within the top 10. I grab a handful - okay 9 - of the various cookies and am on my way back to the office. Unwrapping this masterpiece had me as giddy as Jim Gaffigan when he eats bacon, there is some hardcore food envy from my non-vegan desk neighbors. I couldn't tell if this was some guy trying to take my phone and run for it, or if he was trying to hack into my shopping cards with an RFID reader (yes, thieves do that), or if he was an ICE officer trying to profile me while being undercover or what.
