Modern hero and mozzarella pesto sandwich
Phoebe L.

We came upstairs from climbing for a quick lunch break, and the food really hit the spot. The vibes were awesome, but they don't have great tables to eat off of, unless you sit at the window counter. The staff is also so friendly (as expected of the rock climbing community). We got the mozzarella pesto sandwich with added salami and the modern hero. The bread to filling ratio was a little much, but it was nice that we got a warm meal so quickly. It also helped that we both got tea to help wash it down with. The matcha was very smooth and not bitter at all, and the white oolong was refreshing! Overall, we were pleased for a cafe associated with a rock climbing gym. We'll definitely stop by again when we're in the middle of a long day of bouldering :)

I LOVE method cafe - the vibes, the drinks, the sandwiches, the staff, everything. I've tried all the microground lattes and recommend all of them if you like lattes, especially the hojicha! :) Tried two sandwiches and my favorite was the egg gochujang one. The croissant was good but I should have asked them to heat it up ): Highly recommend this place to chill or do work!

I loved the music choice in the cafe. I had the matcha latte, the "Avo and Egg Sando" and B.E.C Sando. The server was nice and recommended a good blend for the ice tea lemonade. It's a 10/10 for me! I had to take a bite before the pictures

Method is a pretty chill cafe. It's located in a rock climbing establishment so that is pretty cool, however the food and coffee need a little work. I had a sandwich that was super bland. Since there was so much bread I feel like the ratio of meat and cheese didn't match. I also went back recently to get a cup of oatmeal and a macchiato on my way back from the gym. Both were very mediocre. Anyway... don't expect very much from the food as it is a cafe possibly centered around their coffee, teas and rock climbing. Other than that, it's a dope concept and chill place to catch up on work.

I love Method!! Method is such a great cafe for studying, working, or even for a quick cup of coffee before your climb! I always get an iced oat milk latte with simple syrup, and the espresso in it is VERY rich and very smooth. Could also be a combination of the smoothness from the oat milk they use! The mozzarella pesto sandwich is AMAZING. I don't know what it is, but I've gotten it twice and I'm already excited to get it again. They get your order out in a timely manner, and the staff are very polite and very sweet! Overall, I give it a 5/5. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of the food or drinks, but just trust me on it! :)

My friends and I ordered their toter tots, crispy chicken and chocolate bubble waffles with milk tea ice cream to share and I ordered their jasmine tea with cheese foam. Our order was ready a lot quicker than I had expected. The taiwanese crispy chicken was crispy, juicy and tender as they used chicken thighs for it. It was also well seasoned and tasted authentic. The tater tots were also perfectly fried as it was super crispy and they were sprinkled with the same seasoning as the chicken. The bubble waffle was the biggest surprise for me as I have never found a place that does it right (texture wise). This is the place! The waffle was crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside and the batter wasn't too floury as I have often found in other places. But that could also be because we ordered chocolate flavor so I should try their original next time. My only complaint is it didn't have enough chocolate taste for me. The milk tea ice cream, although wasn't the best I've had but it's decent and you can still taste the tea. My jasmine tea with cheese foam was fragrant and the cheese foam complimented the tea well and didn't make it overly filling. Overall, I really enjoyed everything I've ordered here and it's perfect for a mid day or late night snack and drink. I have been to other locations in the area and thought they're not as good as this one so I will have to come back to this location especially for their bubble waffles.

The ambiance is cheerful and inviting, it transported us to a warm island day for our brief stay. It seems there was only one barista working that day and she was very helpful, patient, and friendly. My husband ordered the Cremas Latte and oh my god I wish I got it, it was so delicious; creamy, flavorful and sweet. I ordered the iced toasted almond "hot" chocolate, it was a very rich dark chocolate taste with the amaretto flavor coming through nicely. It was not overly sweet which I enjoyed. I think this is how hot chocolate was meant to taste and I'll be curious to try it hot. I also appreciated that there was some of my drink that didn't fit in the cup, so the barista gave it to me in another cup. My son ordered a Golden Mango Smoothie- he loved it! I love that it has turmeric in it, I felt good letting him have this drink. We also got some snacks. We ordered the Haitian beef patties which were very authentic. You get two per order which was a nice surprise. My son wanted to eat all 4 from our two orders. We also ordered a mini chocolate cake which was decadent and moist and a mini key lime pie which was refreshing and delicious! It was really nice being able to go to a Haitian cafe. My husband and son are Haitian and we enjoyed teaching our son about his culture while he can enjoy treats made with imported Haitian ingredients and recipes. He also enjoyed looking at the art work which prompted him to ask my husband more questions. I only wish there was better parking, especially for us out-of-towners, but I know that is hard in a city.

I immediately stopped on the Vietnamese restaurant with almost a perfect rating at 4.9 stars and 500+ reviews. I'm equally excited, and skeptical. NY/NJ residents aren't the easiest to win over. I walked maybe 6 min to the restaurant. It was a nice sized store front with a well lit dining room, and self and full service kiosk. I was immediately greeted by the staff, I chose to do self serve. Even with that, I still felt very welcomed and engaged once I placed my order. All the items were displayed, and looked fresh. The staff carefully put together a teriyaki salad bowl, and pho for me in about 10 minutes. Once I got the food to my hotel room, I was genuinely impressed. The Pho was so rich in flavor, without being too salty. The noodles were the perfect texture. 10/10. A few hours later after the gym I cracked open the salad bowl. This was referred to me by the staff vs the lemon grass chicken. I am glad I listened, the amount of tender juicy chicken is impressive. The crispy lettuce, and robust tomatoes were a great combination of healthy, and hearty. Bahn & Bo deserves the accolades it's earned, and the one I made up at the beginning. Pro tip: The prices are so good, and so are the portion sizes. If you are looking for fresher, lighter, healthier, skip the Chipotle and Qdobas around the corner, and come here.
