I'd advise anyone ordering here to either order ahead or be prepared for a long wait at lunchtime. This cafe had a relaxed, kitschy tropical island vibe, and my pick from the menu was the Nica Bowl, which came with toppings of granola, banana, strawberry, walnuts, cacao nibs, and peanut butter, all on a base of blended banana and pitaya (I chose the mixed half-half option). The pitaya (dragonfruit) was blended with banana, pineapple, and coconut milk and had the right amount of sweetness, while the milder banana blended with honey and almond milk had an amazing ice cream-like texture. I got the Chia-tella bowl and it was absolutely delicious and super filling. It has chia seeds, granola, strawberries bananas and Nutella, I also added mangos for .50 cents. I actually had it 2 more times since. It's definitely a fun and healthy meal replacement. The restaurant itself is also very pretty with its colorful design. You are not able to order for dine in but there's a window on their balcony that is very convenient for placing and picking up your orders. As I sat having a playa bowl and reading, I heard your team of emploees (3 young ladies and one male) having a conversation in which several of your employees were using profanity, including the "f" word. In response, I informed them that I was offended by their use of profanity while I was having my playa bowl. I then overheard one of your employees state that this was not a library. Playa bowls are great. It's the perfect healthy meal if you want something that's going to be filling but also low calorie. They have so many different choices and so many different toppings for anyone's kind of taste or liking and I've almost always enjoyed myself whenever I go there. what I do notice is that sometimes the freshness of the fruit is a hit or miss. On some days and in some locations, I can tell the fruit is a bit over-ripe. But On the bright side, I've never experienced any rotten fruit. The food is a bit pricey but considering the amount of fruit that you get and the amount of the bases you get As well, I would say it's worth the money. My favorite thing to get is the berry Acai bowl but today I chose the Chia pudding base which was equally amazing. I encourage adding the Cocoa nibs topping. This store location is by the far the worst. I don't come here that frequently but that blonde chick is just so rude. Several times I ordered here and she was there. I complained about my bowl twice at separate times and I was greeted with not a smile, not a polite acknowledgement but a straight poker look.
