Iced NOLA, Hot Chocolate
Teev R.

Blue Bottle in NoMad was an easy stop with a good amount of seating. Setting: Clean, modern, and calm, great for a quick coffee break. Service: Efficient and friendly, even during busy times. Food & Drinks: The iced NOLA cold foam had that classic chicory flavor and tasted just like coffee I've had in New Orleans. It wasn't sweet enough for me and the cold foam faded quickly, but that's a personal preference. I'll be trying the cherry blossom latte next time.

Cute small modern coffee coffee shop with friendly staff, convenient seating, and delicious matcha. (Sorry, I didn't try the actual coffee or pastries) Convenient to Virgin Hotel since it's right under it.

A savior and steadfast when it comes to good coffee! I've been a fan since this was only on the west coast. The NOMAD location is minimalist, airy and serves up all the goodies as it's counterparts. I got an orange Nola iced latte. It's perfect. Also very friendly staff.

Butter Blonde

This must be a new location because I've never seen blue bottle in this area of midtown. I stopped in to get the butter blonde which is my favorite from this chain. I didn't get a drink this time since I had one already but usually get cappuccino or matcha. Their drink options are high quality and matcha is always sourced from Japan usually. The ambiance is minimalistic with seating. The staff are nice and professional. There's no restroom I believe but great spot to do work from Wi-Fi, small meetings, or a break from commuting through midtown. If you need a restroom there's public restroom on 32nd in the court square, adjacent h&m.

So glad this location opened! Really spacious inside and you can get everything here - drinks, baked goods, and merch.

Cardamon latte

I liked the cardamom latte. Delicious. It comes in a cup and saucer if you drink or eat in. Cute and modern cafe. Today is their grand opening. They gave out surprises at the door. What a nice treat. Friendly staff. Plenty of seatings.

Upon arrival we noticed the difference in crowds. Not as busy and packed sidewalks. Also it was a lot cleaner than Chinatown. Since we just ate at C-Town, it was time to find a good dessert place in K-Town. So we walked and we walked until I saw a banner sign showing shaved ice desserts. Then I noticed the name of the business is Grace Street. How fitting, because that is my wife's name. So we went in and what caught my eye was a mango shaved ice with mangoes, mochi, strawberries, and condensed milk, however I was over ruled by my wife and we went with the black sesame and mochi and condensed milk. It also had red bean, but that had to be on the side, since that gives me gout. Such nice staff taking orders and we went into the dining area to find a seat. What a large spacious area with many tables. Our order came out and it looked so good. The black sesame shaved ice or snow as it's also referred to as, was perfectly sweetened by the condensed milk and the chewy mochi. Definitely cleaned my pallet from our Chinese lunch and it helped cool me down from the New York heat. We got water, but there was no ice offered, so I asked one of the workers and he was kind enough to get me some. We are through that dessert like, if we didn't finish it fast, it was going to melt. We did not give it a chance to melt one bit. The staff here are efficient, as they saw we were done, they asked to clear our dessert bowl away. It was a nice experience even if it was just dessert. They definitely had more dessert options to offer, but i

I really enjoyed their matcha basque cheesecake with a prominent, deep matcha flavor. The texture was pretty smooth and loved how it wasn't too sweet. The Ho-Dduk has the lovely combo of sweet brown sugar/caramel flavor and creamy vanilla ice cream. When its hot, the dough is super chewy on the inside and slightly crispy on the outside. The mango bingsoo had a good mango flavor; wasn't too tangy nor too sweet. Mangoes were fresh for the season. The elixir or the matcha bingsoo was solid too, but I still preferred the strong matcha flavors from the cheesecake. Lines sometimes are long but it also moves fast! After ordering, you get a buzzer that will tell you when your desserts are ready. Lots of seating options from tables to high tops.

We worked with Eric via email and he was great managing and making sure everything was settled ahead of the event. On the day of our lunch, we arrived around 20 minutes early and the table was already set up. We had two servers throughout the meal and they were lovely. They made sure everything was set up and we had everything we needed. For a large group reservation, they have a $60 minimum and you order everything ahead of time. (The afternoon tea set is mandatory for everyone to get). We had the afternoon tea set, caprese tarts and strawberry parfait for all attendees. The food was filling and tasty. Tea is always so good as well (I always get my Rose Lovers Milk Tea!) All in all, a great option for a group reservation in the city!

The size of both were the perfect amount since we just wanted something small to end the night. The ube crepe cake was really light and creamy. The ube flavor was pretty subtle, and I mostly tasted the cream. It's a perfect light dessert, but I would've liked the ube flavor to be stronger. The chocolate lava cake was super rich and decadent but also really delicious. I feel like it kinda battled with the ube crepe cake since they're total opposites. The staff were friendly. The interior was really cute and had a relaxing type of atmosphere that made it great for a nice place to sit, chat, and have dessert.
