So very close to 5 stars. Everything about this place is wonderful aside from one fairly significant issue. The design of this coffee shop is very nice. Reminiscent of a more contemporary Cycladic architecture with Japandi influence. I wouldn't mind spending my whole day here. The team behind the counter is also a friendly bunch. The coffee here is spectacular, they don't mess around when it comes to their lattes. The place gets busy, but not too busy where it's difficult to find a place to sit. Now, the issue here is with their Internet. I can connect to it fine but many standard websites are inaccessible and I'm also unable to connect to a VPN which is vital for the line of work that I'm in. Websites fail to load and are deemed unreachable. I had to resort to using my mobile hotspot anyway. In these modern times, a coffee shop's internet is one of the most important factors for people whether they're a working professional or student. Due to this, if I were to post at a coffee shop for several hours to get work done (which I often do), I'd probably end up choosing another place. I ordered regular black coffee with cream and it took no joke 25 minutes . I guess I didn't order a double decaf half caff with an americano twist with a spritz of caramel and goat milk foam . Had a tasty cold brew with pistachio cream from here on a lovely Friday morning. It was pretty busy when I went around 11am and the parking and ambiance inside was a little chaotic. The server was so friendly and helped us with our order and informed us because of the rush that our food and drink was going to take awhile to come out so we walked around the camp and explored a bit. The environment is pretty cozy but the space is pretty small and there is a very limited amount of chairs and tables to sit at. Here's what I've ordered and my thoughts: - Iced matcha with oat milk: 5/5 Matcha was really good! Big fan since it's not too watery like some places make it or too sweet. You can also add sweetener of your choice if that's your vibe - Classic sando: 5/5 Amazing! I understand why people love their food and I agree it's actually a fire sandwich. All the ingredients tasted super fresh and the bread is like perfectly toasted. Would recommend and I personally am interested in the spicy sando.... - Pistachio cold foam with cold brew: 2/5 I wanted to love this so much, I really do. I have a love/hate relationship with Tiktok. I thank Tiktok for bringing me here, but then its almost impossible to find a seat in the morning because of how popular they have become. I feel you have to come earlier than 10 am. I have yet to find a perfect time to go. But the food and drinks are the very reason why finding a seating spot is difficult. I got the burrito and its very flavorful even without the condiments on the side, and very filling. It comes with eggs, cheddar, tator tots, bacon and avocado. I highly recommend trying it. And with this I also recommend the rosemary latte. This is the first time I had this drink and surprisingly it works. It has a more herb taste with the cream foam and the balance of coffee. I enjoyed it. The atmosphere here is lovely with a mix of people reading, working on something, or just catching up with friends. I'll be honest the matcha latte had absolutely zero flavor. The was like liquid cardboard. The space itself is aesthetic but the music is so loud you can barely sit to think or read. One of my fav coffee spots in the area. It gives bodega, coffee shop with with wine bar vibes. The coffee and drinks are consistently delicious. I've had their lattes and really like their espresso. It's bold and not acidic. The mint matcha is also really good. The chai latte here is not my favorite since I prefer mine on the spicy side. The food here is some of the best I've ever had from a coffee spot. I recently tried the chicken noodle soup, which was tasty. It came with a really nice slice of toasted focaccia, which was honestly my favorite part. The spicy sando is also SO tasty. Service is always friendly and quick. I used to go here a lot when it first opened and it's not the same as it used to be -- they started cutting corners and it's noticeable. I tried the matcha einspanner and it was so bad I couldn't drink it. They used pre sweetened matcha which is not the same mizuba matcha they use in their other drinks... I opted for the hazelnut latte with oat milk because I was craving a sweet creamy drink and it did not disappoint. Being a coffee drinker in OC you just expect the drink to be $6+ so I wasn't surprised when my drink total was $7. WIP is my GO-TO on a beautiful off day for bfast/lunch! It is a space where you go sit out with your laptop and get to work, as well as bring your friends to try WIP and catch up together. The space is welcoming and calm. I love the try different drinks every time, my go to are matcha lattes or whatever in season latte they have + a breakfast burrito or summer sando. The cashiers and baristas are always helpful with questions and suggestions :') I adore a shop with a seasonal menu and fun goods for sale. Why choose between trendy and delicious when you can just go to WIP? I got their seasonal iced Honey Rosemary Oat Latte and it was sooooooo freaking good. I feel like there aren't a lot of coffee shops that I would go to twice because there's so many new ones nowadays, but I would come here just for that drink. Their presentation is just immaculate! Literally the best latte I've had in my life nothing compares. I don't live anywhere near here so I'll be dreaming of it til the next time I'm in the area. Went here for a Sunday morning breakfast date, the food was delicious. But the coffee was meh, the shots were pulled supeerrr long and it ended up making the espresso super acidic and sour. They didn't steam my wet cappuccino right so it ended up being watery, thankfully, I had asked to get another drink bc it was so sour (even with syrup). I ordered their Hojicha Tea Latte because I've never been to a coffee shop that offers hojicha and I'd been wanting to try. However, I can't say I'm too impressed because I think it was pretty light in flavor and wasn't sweet. I wasn't aware that it wouldn't be sweet because I typically order matcha lattes at other coffee shops and they come sweetened. Maybe next time I'll try one of their other drinks or ask for a recommendation before ordering. This place is good for dates, friends and groups. I noticed this little place across the street from my mechanic last month. It's located on a street behind The Camp. There is no signage in front other than their logo on the top left of the building. It seems to be very busy even early in the mornings so I'm guessing it's getting a lot of attention on social media because it's located on a quiet street and otherwise wouldn't be noticed. The interior is simple yet modern in a cool-hip way with it's white walls and nicely decorated recessed shelves. There is a small patio and the vibe is relaxed, the staff friendly and mellow. They serve a variety of coffees and teas (including kambucha). They also serve wine by the glass or bottle all day (white wine - no reds) as well as charcuterie plates, small sandwiches, and breakfast burritos. On my most recent visit, early on a Saturday morning, I ordered a hot vanilla latte and a croissant from their small pastry case. Both were superb. I'm not sure what coffee they use but it is excellent and the vanilla is blended in perfectly. The croissant was fresh and flakey. This will be where you'll see me hanging out during oil changes and auto maintenance from now on (as mentioned it's across the street from my mechanic) and I imagine I'll also be stopping in randomly now and then just because my visits thus far have been so gosh-darn pleasant. read more

Matcha with foam top was so good. Breakfast sandwich stood out to me compared to a simple breakfast sandwich elsewhere, it was really fresh and unique.
