I haven't had pizza from this place in about 15 years since we moved away from the area.. guess what?! Their pizza is still outstanding!! It was worth the ride. Although I find the prices are a little high for Woonsocket, I still feel the employee deserves a tip since all restaurants are hurting a bit right now. The cook estimated 45 minutes on the phone, and that's exactly when I received my order. I will be back again soon. You will not be let down by their pizza! It is delish!! read more

I have wanted to comment for a while. I live near by and use to frequent. Since it changed hands I no longer go. I have a few reasons. I had Ordered potato skins and my boyfriend a grinder. His grinder was not heated like asked. My potato skins came with no sour cream. I called and told them. The worker said "Oh we don't have any". Should have told me before. They were dry as a bone. Speaking of making a grinder incorrect. I was sickened to hear my 81yr old neighbor tell me it was the second time they messed up. Since he is nearby he stopped in to inform them of the mess up. Not to be mean or complain rather bring it to their attention. "Customer is always right" . Not in this case. He told me the worker said WTF do you want another sandwich? He said no and tried to explain. The worker then told him to get out or he wil kick his butt. My 81yr old friend said ok just testing. In actuality he was scared to death. He was a younger blonde kid. Also the delivery kid needs to slow down leaving and get s new muffler. Its nuts. There is no need to just about peel out. The end of the night I liken to a 50's drag night! All reving their engines and peeling out. How professional. Thanks to this man I did not pursue this. Verbal threats. We have been ordering from here for the past 6 or 7 years and it was always our favorite. We would recommend them to everyone. Unfortunately last few orders we received from them have been very different. Everything seems to be cooked very differently and ingredients have seemed to change, and not in a good way. Ordered a chicken Caesar wrap with hardly any lettuce that was wilted and soggy. Didn't taste like Caesar dressing. Seemed like they sauteed the chicken in some kind of salty marinade which was weird. It did not smell or taste good and gave me an upset stomach. I used to order these from here all the time and they were never like this. The pizza didn't taste right. My husband ordered a chicken parm sub and said it just wasn't the same and the chicken didn't seem fresh and sauce was not good. There appears to be new staff so I'm wondering if they have new owners. Not impressed. Unfortunately we won't be ordering from them any time soon. Time to find a new local pizza joint. read more

Wow.. I'm not impressed. I just downloaded the slice app and being new to Woonsocket, having never ordered here before and trying to support local businesses during the coronavirus pandemic, I felt this was an easy choice- free delivery too? No brainer. I called in because the slice app doesn't allow a pay by cash option. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza, large order of buffalo wings and a large order of fries for a family of 3. It took an hour, but they told me it would ahead of time. When it arrived we were so excited that the portions were enough for us! Sadly .. the quality was way off.. please don't just visualize what I'm saying but also review the pictures for accuracy. I wanted to like this place SO BAD!! I wanted to write a good review, I wanted to frequent this place .. but here we are, more than half the food remains as I stop everything I'm doing to write this review. The second thing we notice is that the wings are not buffalo at all- everywhere you go in this world, buffalo wings are tossed in buffalo sauce, that's what make them buffalo wings.. what we got instead is what the rest of America calls wing dings or wing zings.. I thought, they must have made a mistake. So I called the store and I know that I was (for sure) speaking to a manager; I know because he made sure to let me know that for over 10yrs that's how he's been making buffalo wings and they are "buffalo breaded" and are spicy (they absolutely were not) he said he knows they're spicy because he dropped them himself and there's nothing he can do for me. I explained to him that this is my first time ordering there, it was not in any way specified that the was "buffalo breaded" and I didn't know that's how they did things.. he said for future reference we must ask for it to be buffalo dipped!! He said he had 5 orders ahead of mine but would send them dipped as soon as possible.. Honestly at that point I had decided to overlook his past his sour attitude to give them a shot at redemption. As we waited we started at the pizza.. every time I try a new place I order a basic pepperoni pizza- this is the deciding factor as to whether or not I would order different flavors/ styles in the future. Please, stray from this review for a second to look at the pictures.. It took 3 napkins to soak up the amount of grease on one slice! I was still optimistic, I reassured hubby that this was because of the cheese and pepperoni.. the taste itself is not bad, but the consistency was was soggy, flimsy yet rubbery, I don't get how that's even possible. The crust had a nice crunch to it though.. the cheese completely separated from the dough (pictured) .. my son compared the pizza to an old shoe -when the soles start talking and said it tasted like one too. I didn't bother to call the store back because I wasnt interested in going back and forth with someone who obviously doesn't follow customer service principal #1- the customer is always right. I will say the fries did not arrive hot and were soggy .. I bet they would've tasted nice had they been fresh.. they were just put into a styrofoam container and got really soggy. Finally, the buffalo wings arrive... I don't know if the manager was trying to be funny but they weren't dipped, they were soaked!! And couldn't have been fresh because they were lukewarm. They sat in a heavy pool of sauce (pictured) not cool.. it made the dish salty and inedible. We're so upset. When things go wrong, most people don't complain or write yelp reviews, they just stop coming. I really hope someone reads this and somehow tries to make this right.. $30 down the drain and that is not what we wanted to happen during these trying times.. I feel disrespected, undervalued and hungry.. as a first time customer, you lost our business. Customer service isn't there.. all around miss. read more

I have been ordering from here for at least a year; both at work and home. This evening at an hour and 30 minutes after ordering I called. I was told that my order would be done in 5 minutes then delivered. I asked for ranch and the bottle of soda i ordered be free. The "supervisor" said I can give the ranch but not the soda. Favorite pizza spot in Woonsocket. Moved out of woonsocket but I'll still take the drive to pick up. I am not a crust person but their dough is cooked different and with eating. Always hot and ready on time, sometimes faster than expected. Only reason I only have 4 stars is because it's a little pricey for it being in Woonsocket but worth it read more

Ordered through slice. Waited 2.5 hours for my order. And my steak was overcooked. My clam strips were burnt. And my salad was soggy and dudnt have the right dressing. The eat in service was impeccable and the restaurant was clean, comfortable, and cozy despite the cold rain outside. The food however was only adequate. We ordered two Cheeseburger Plattters. The buns were fresh as well as the lettuce and tomato but the whole meal lacked seasoning and tasted bland. I would eat there again but I wouldn't be scrambling to tell my friends about it. Almost my entire experience with Palace Pizza was awful. For starters, the man that I placed my order with was rude, unfriendly, didn't listen to me and rushed me off the phone. I ordered 3 burgers, 1 order of onion rings and 1 order of curly fries. The burgers were very small, extremely overcooked, had no flavor or seasoning, the bacon was soggy and cold, mushrooms weren't fresh like their website says they were from a can and were cold, the bulky roll was three times the size of the burger and hard from sitting out for a while, and the burger itself was cold. The onion rings and curly fries came out of the freezer. They were ice cold when I received them. The portion sizes are very small and very expensive. There were only 6 onion rings in our order and 9 curly fries. The only good part of our experience with Palace Pizza was the delivery driver. He was very nice and patient. He had to wait for me to go get more money because I thought $26 was enough for an order of onion rings, an order of curly fries and 3 burgers but it wasn't. I had to get $4 more, which I thought was ridiculous. $30 for this terrible food???? Are you kidding me???? I will NEVER order from Palace Pizza again. I should've gone to Burger King. It would've been a lot cheaper and their burgers, at least, taste better than the hockey pucks Palace Pizza is serving as burgers. SMH....what a waste. read more
