I have been getting takeout here for years, a few times a month. Around mid 2022 the quality started to drop off. I don't think they hate me because the staff is always really friendly and I tip very well. The quality and care in making the food just seems to have started to evaporate. The last few meals I have gotten have left a lot to be desired and I know everyoune is struggling but for the prices they charge the food should be better. I order from this place all the time and have nothing negative to say about the cooks, wait staff or delivery drivers I've come across in that time. In a city full of pizza choices we've always been a loyal Olly's family. Upon having to deal with the owner Charlie it's clear that loyalty only goes one way. My bank pointed me to duplicate charges one posted and one pending with the same transaction date and told me I should call and inquire to be sure it didn't post. I called and after speaking with a nice person I was connected with Charlie the owner who immediately was rude and treated me like an enemy, after I voiced my displeasure at that he acted nice and said he'd call his cc company and call me back. When he called back he again seemed to think we were adversaries and after wrongfully accusing me of paying with 2 cards (wrong) said it's my banks problem and hung up on me. And with that this place has lost my business for good. TLDR Is an average to above average pizza place worth dealing with an owner who doesn't value even his loyalist of customers. I don't think so. The owner was super rude. He refused to add an over hard egg to my burger and asked to pay for it. There is already an egg burger on the menu but apparently it was impossible and he stormed away leaving me with the clerk. I have been standing here for 45 minutes waiting for my burger. Now I was just scolded. I was just told ma'am it's going to take longer for your burger because you asked for it well done of course. Apparently I am a criminal for asking for an egg and a burger well done. Also while you're waiting there are three TVs in the business not one of them have any closed captioning on with no volume. I don't understand the point of having three televisions in a business if nobody can see what is being said. I love ollys food, but the prices are high and the service, well it could use improvement. The person that answers the phone makes you feel like he doesn't have the time to take your order, and makes you feel guilty for wanting a pizza with special instructions (a large bbq chicken pizza is not on the menu) And as if the rude service wasnt enough, I specifically asked to make sure the driver had change for a hundred dollar bill and was assured that he would yet the driver only had $20 change for a $40 order, and the food was already cold. Again I love their food but their delivery service could use improvement, I would call more if this changed. read more

I expected more for a nice litte restaurant. I ordered 2 Alfredo pastas one of them was penne and got angel hair and had it with chicken and broccoli only i checked and had tiny bits of mushrooms in it. both pastas was REALLY bland and sauce was extremely watery. Not sure how they can mess this up if they weren't even busy when i arrived! I expected a bit more since it is a nice place and their pizza is really good and their burger sub! Not sure if i would order pasta from there again though. Also i called to see if i can get refund lady said repeatedly that they can give me credit but then all frustrated she tells me shes gonna give me a refund . Hello! We got the #37 GOODFELLA'S DREAM -Grilled chicken, plum tomatoes, garlic, fresh basil & blended cheese. This pizza is just like it says. It was very tasty. The only prob I had w/ it is its size. I got it for me & my girl but tbh I did order another of the same pizza & drove back to get it again because the 1st one didn't fill us up! Ok. Ok. U r prob thinking we're huge fatties that can put down a lot? We're not! We're avg. Joe's. She weighs 96lbs soaking wet & I 210lbs. Also the price for getting 2 pizzas was pricey. It was $12 a pizza not including tax & tip. But I will say that they can cook a pizza in about 10min flat. Which I was thoroughly impressed! So if money is no issue & u want a personal size pizza that tastes delicious & is done quickly then this is ur place! I would definitely eat here again. Just not all the time based on price. Texted the driver who said she dropped it off at the wrong address, and handed it to an "old lady who looked confused" about 1/2 mile away. Can't blame Olly's for that. What I CAN blame them for is instead of remaking the food and getting their reimbursement through the app, the owner called us and told us to go down to the woman's house and demand our food -- which for all we know has been touched or eaten -- from the elderly woman it was delivered to. We got a menu in the mail so thought we'd try out this long standing classic Woonsocket pizza stop. The atmosphere was very nicely updated but the food makes it less than one star. If I hadn't been so tired by the time my food came I would've asked For a refund. We ordered one small Italian grinder not toasted which took a little longer than it should have, and 2 burgers which took so long to come out my husband had to go ask where they were. When they did come out they were very over cooked with no flavor. We saw a Burger King commercial while in the shop and joked instead of $28 we could've had a whole meal for 2 for $10 at BK. Maybe we should've stuck to good old fashioned pizza but for one, I'd be afraid of how long THAT would take to come out, and two, the menu advertised the burgers in such a way they sounded appealing. Charlie has a pizza my heart! I recently worked with him to send over 125 pizzas to volunteers working feverishly in Woonsocket, RI to build the Guinness World Record Bra Chain. Not only was he extremely generous, he was easy to work with even all the way from California. Every set of pizza was delivered hot & tasty within 45 minutes of me calling him. I got so many messages saying it was the "BEST PIZZA EVER" that I had to come show Olly's some love. I'm not stranger to their pizza .. before leaving Rhode Island, they were our preferred pizza place of choice for our monthly workshops, and we loved them then but this goes above and beyond! Olly's is arguably the best pizzeria in Woonsocket. Side dishes, sandwiches, and other traditional pizzeria favorites are always delicious. I've yet to not like anything from here and I order a few times a month. Olly's excels at specialty/atypical pizzas for some reason and I couldn't be happier about it. The veggie pizza is topped with loads of fresh, crisp vegetables. The eggplant is a personal favorite; very few places nail eggplant pizza but Olly's is one of them. Sides and appetizers are predictably greasy but not overly so. The French fries and onion rings are awesome, definitely not run-of-the-mill fare. There's also no stale aftertaste which means that the frying oil is changed often. Grinders are likewise pleasing. I'm not usually a hot sandwich lover but Olly's may very well change that. I get entree envy watching coworkers eat theirs even if I've got one too! Service at the counter and on delivery is typically spot on. Delivery drivers in particular always have a smile and are happy to fix the rare mistake in an order without missing a beat. Eating in for a quick lunch or dinner will give you a good idea of the broad appeal of the place as orders come from people from all walks of life. It's constantly busy. If you're looking for a comfort food indulgence spot that won't morally obligate you to long hours on the treadmill, Olly's is the place. Expect low grease pizzas that do not suffer for it in the crust. It's a sign of a well made pizza that their pizza is good hot, cold, AND reheated. Sizes are true to price; definitely puts big chain places to shame. Bar-none, Olly's is my Woonsocket favorite for lunch/dinner takeout, meeting food, or a dinner delivered. read more

We've been pleased with most orders during that time, but in the last few months, they have consistently messed up our orders. I have called to tell them and they were apologetic and pacified us with a huge order of fries. "...this will never happen again", was what I was told. So we ordered again today. My Italian calzone w/extra mushrooms order was not there. Instead, it was a calzone with chicken, ham, pepperoni and BBQ sauce. (No mushrooms) Definitely nothing I've eaten in Italy. I called, figured it would be a simple "sorry, we can give you a refund, or credit," like most good businesses do. I always enjoy my food at Olly's. My favorites are their vegetarian stuffed grape leaves (aka dolma) and home made baklava.
