Ordered 3 large pizzas got there and it was a mess, people were calling and being put on hold for 15 minutes. When we got our pizzas they were tiny the size of their smalls we went in and asked about it and the cashier said keep the 3 tiny ones and we will remake 2 more. A couple minutes go by and the manager told us we have to give back two pizzas after we had touched them and taken them out of the store. Third time here for the pizza and second time dining in. Staff still super friendly and very helpful! I was stuck between two pizzas and the server was very helpful and even offered for me to try the pesto sauce that comes on one of the pizzas. Ordered two large pizzas so there were leftovers and also grabbed a 2 liter soda, the server very kindly and quickly brought over cups with ice and straws. Went with the "Texas BBQ chainsaw" and "The Godfather". I think I maybe in love with the Godfather! It was so good! Lumberjacks crust is excellent! Good flavor and the right thickness! The Godfather comes with Soppressata, I'm not Italian, I've never heard of it, never mind even say it correctly (thank you google!). It's an Italian sausage with great flavor, nothing like pepperoni... it was delicious and I'm happy I tried something new! Another great experience at Lumberjacks! read more

6/23/23, today I finally decided to try Lumber Jacks Pizza. I ordered a pepperoni, sausage pizza as my once a week cheat-treat. WOW was I surprised and very pleased. My pizza was a thin crust, a bit on the well done side which I thoroughly enjoy. It was loaded up just right, great flavor, not greasy. Fantastic flavor. I will be a regular customer now. My first order was fantastic, I Strongly recommend LJs now. Only criticism I have, wished there was a little more pepperoni, still awesome pie!! Keep up the great food! read more

Who knew all those years I was driving to Wright's Farm that there was a pizza place on the side of Gators? I guess I am glad I didn't find it sooner... generic sauce, a heavy cheese hand and a lot of dough. My 7 year old who LOVES pizza said it wasn't good. Oh yeah... and the pizza was also really great. Blistery hand tossed crust with a perfect amount of stringy crisped cheese. I got a small Carolina Pulled Pork pizza and could only get through half of it because it was so generous. You can buy beer in the bar next door and bring it over to the pizza place, which was a great bonus. I like the classic pizzeria feel with the red checkered plastic table cloths and wood booths. Counter help is generally spaced out and have a really tough time getting my order correct. This time they filled my spinach calzone with pepperoni that I didn't ask for. Not cool because I don't eat meat and didn't find out til after they closed. So much for my dinner. Called the next day to attempt to rectify the situation with the manager. The Chainsaw Pizza with added bacon is OFF THE HOOK!!! Crispy delicious medium thickness pizza crust. This place is another town standard. Every time I have visitors from out of town they ask me to pre-order this pizza for them. They have issues with 'help' as many places do but honestly we have never had an issue. I have been ordering pizza from Lumberjacks for a while. they have always delivered to my house. Yesterday I called in a delivery and they told me they cannot deliver to me because my house is outside of their 12 minute delivery range. I looked it up, my house is under 13 minutes away and just over 12. When I asked if I could speak to someone about this I was told there was no one in charge at the restaurant. We ordered tonight I got the weiners my husband got the supreme pizza my son got a cheeseburger grinder and my other son got the chicken nuggets. All in all no complaints and we will go back again. Stopped in after work and ordered a couple of weiners and a small buffalo chicken nuggets. Did not call first. Was told it would be 10-15 minutes which makes sense for this type of order. After nearly half an hour I asked if the order was nearly ready and was told they had run out of weiners and had to cook one more for my order. One, not two new/fresh ones, just one. So finally about five minutes later the order was ready. You could definitely tell which was not the fresh weiner, it was awful and never should have been served. If you spent any time in Northern RI and miss Mezza Luna Pizza well then I have some good news. Lumber Jack's now has something called Lumber Luna which is pretty darn close to that Mezza Luna Pizza style and taste. The cheese and dough are dead on imo. The sauce is extremely close. I was very impressed and will definitely be choosing that vs their native Lumber Jack style from now. Well done folks! Update: I am not sure of this but me thinks the guy who made their Mezza Luna style is no longer with them so while the pizza is good, they seem to be morphing into a blend of the styles. One of my favorite pizza places was Mezza Luna Pizza in North Smithfield. There was something about their pizza that was amazing. Unfortunately, a number of years ago, it closed its doors for good and there was a void for quality pizza. There was good pizza around but not great. About 2 years ago...maybe alittle longer, Lumberjacks opened with some of the chefs from Mezza Luna. After trying their pizza, this void has been filled. The crust is crispy yet soft but difficult to truly describe its delciousness. I really like all of their specialty pizzas. If you are looking to try something different, go with the Green Birch. It will change your life. They are reasonably priced and sell wieners too that are pretty close to Oneyville quality. If you are looking for a quality pizza place in Northern RI, I would recommend Lumberjacks! read more

I've been ordering from them since I moved here 8 years ago only bc it's the closest pizza place. Once I order food other than pizza and what a mistake.. Stick to he pizza. Aside from the consistency issues they're pricey (compared to competitors) and delivery time is always at least 30 mins more than what they tell you over the phone. When I called to order I asked how long the wait for delivery was.. They said 45 mins..... So really at least over an hour. Bullsh*t. Googled other places and found gusto, WOWWWW!!! Not a bad pizza but can be inconsistent at times and I personally don't like the cornmeal on the bottom of the crust, it almost gives the pizza a sandpaper feel in my opinion. I've tried Lumberjack's a few times, thinking, "Everyone has an off night," and that the next time would be better. This eatery employs folks that aren't aware of what good customer service is. Each time I've come here, there's a teenage girl that takes my order who seems more concerned with her coworkers than a customer. I tried the pizza.. (how can you screw up a pepperoni pizza??) The pizza at Chuck-E-Cheese is better. Just awful. I tried the wieners.. Awful. I wrote the owner about it, asking, "How can you call what you're serving "Hot Wieners" in Rhode Island? As sent to the owners: I am never going to order food from your establishment again. I have had issues with orders more and more frequently. Once they shorted us 4 wings on a bucket. There was time that they took well over an hour to deliver the food. 2 weeks ago I was told it would be 20 minutes for my order and it was at least 45. Today is the last straw. I ordered our food as usual and had to repeat it multiple times to the person on the phone. Then the 25 minutes quoted turned into and hour! My husband brought the food home and they made the wrong thing, a sausage calzone instead of a small pizza. This was my KIDS dinner and they were very upset. After I called to complain about their food, I opened mine, only to find out that my order was wrong also AND I found a dirty TOOTHPICK in my salad!!! INCONSISTENT - will definitely be taking a long break from ordering. The last time we ordered we were told 30 mins for pick up, got there at about 35 mins then waited for another 2t mins while our French fries sat in a Styrofoam container on top of the oven waiting for the rest of the order. The cooks were more interested in talking about how they can only drink 3 Twisted Teas because the heartburn is so bad with 4 or more, than actually cooking the orders. Tonight ordered again the GRILLED chicken club grinder and asked for no mayo, bring the order home and there is mayo on my sandwich, called they offered to deliver a new sandwich, I get the new sandwich and no mayo on it however they sent me a FRIED chicken sandwich...there have been other problems I just don't understand how they can get things wrong so often! read more

This is my favorite pizza place around. Granted, I don't eat here as often as some others, so I can't speak to the inconsistencies. I do love their pizza. Lots of good signature pies that set them apart from standard pizza fare. I once got a BBQ chicken pizza that had both BBQ and marinara sauce and it was amazing. The prices are a little bit higher than other pizza joints, but my biggest complaint would have to be the wait. It takes them longer than most to make a pizza. read more

What use to be the best pizza place has gone downhill very fast and now is one of the worst. My last time I got delivery. I ordered 3 pizzas and a few sides of blue cheese. I was told 45 minutes, by an hour and 10 minutes later my order finally came. I immediately noticed they forgot my blue cheese. The driver had already left so I called the restaurant back right away. They said they would send someone back with my blue cheese. I took a piece of my pepperoni pizza and found a mosquito on it. (Picture included). I threw that piece out and had another one. The bugless piece of pizza was pretty good. My blue cheese still wasn't here so I had some of my pizza with the sriracha honey crust. It was a little spicy and tasted good. After 50 minutes has passed I called again saying they didn't bring the blue cheese and they said they someone will bring it right away. I had some more pizza and ANOTHER HOUR went by so I called again and they said they were closed and all the drivers left. So in the end I didn't get my blue cheese. It may just seem like a side of blue cheese but it's really the horrendous service that made it a problem. I'm never getting food from lumberjacks again. Pizza can be quite good, depending on the day. However, there are a couple of issues that make me reconsider my pizzeria choice. Firstly, the person who answers the phone was quite inattentive. I had to say my pizza orders 3 times before she understood, and she still messed up the pizza! I understand that some people have off days, but this has happened multiple times.
