We had planned on getting pizza for dinner yesterday without realizing one of our go-to pizza spots we intended to order from is now closed on Sundays. My brother-in-law suggested ordering from Pizza Palace as he's ordered from there before. I'm glad to have had the opportunity to try it! Not only did I think their online ordering was very convenient with easy options like getting it well-done (our preference) but the pizzas were really delicious! They have a good selection of specialty pies as well. The Buffalo chicken was particularly good! My only criticism is that all of the pizzas were a bit heavy on the cheese for our taste, so next time I would add a note for light cheese. Not a good experience at all. Ordered on the slice app. When you order on it you get a notification when the restaurant receives the order, one when the restaurant starts working on it (the app calls it "in the kitchen), and if you haven't done it yet, one when its ready for pickup. So, like I said I ordered on the app and got the first 2 notifications. Went to pick it up in the designated time-frame, and when I give my name, the waitress/counter person seems confused. She goes to the computer, and then walks over and puts a cheese pizza in the oven (which is what I ordered). At this point, I figured it was mine and they it just went in, but she didn't bother to say anything or apologize. Mind you, the phone didn't ring while I was there, nobody came to pick up an order while I was there, and no delivery driver left when I was there, so its not like they were busy. I had heard good things, so I let it go. During this time despite they're being a couple of cooks, she's the only one that checked on it, and after 20+ minutes I finally get my pizza and its burnt, and lacking much taste. The cheese and dough didn't taste completely fresh, but again with how burnt it was that may have been the issue. Slice always asks for feedback, and I give similar feedback to them. They apparently communicated to them and I was offered a free pizza but I had brought my order to eat at work, so I can't exactly go back and I'm not in the delivery range so that was out. I called for an order at 9. Got the confirmation email at 9:06. Checked online and it said it was delivered. No food here. Waiting to feed everyone after a long day. Called and told him it said deliwvered but it had not been. He said it was on the way. 30 mins later I call back because I still had NO FOOD. BUT THE 60$ ( INCLUDING TIP) was withdrawn from my account. Well they didnt answer. They were closed. So my food was NOT on its way. And it was a lie when it said delivered. Yay! This place was great. In my continued quest to explore the pizza places around my new house I am glad I stopped here. The pizza was made on time, perfectly, and was affordable. All of the staff were friendly and outgoing which was appreciated. Here are my ratings: Ambiance: 8/10, Food quality and preparation 8/10, Service/Delivery 9/10, Prices 8/10. A pizza restaurant with other comfort foods and a nice basic ambiance. Pizza 5/10. Thick crust pizza is actually very thin and very flimsy in the middle. Only the edge of the crust is thick and crunchy. Pepperoni is average at best. Hamburger topping tastes nothing like hamburger. Sausage on pizza was ok but better in a grinder. Calzones 7/10. Sausage is sliced very thin for calzones which makes it less tasty. Pepperoni calzone was ok. Grinders 8/10. Dinners 8/10. I don't normally bother to review things as I'm pretty lazy, but this little place makes a delicious pizza and isn't too well known I think. We always get the House special w/ extra cheese. The dough is thin but crisp which is great for picking up. There is no grease at all, but it still has tons of flavor. They heap on the fresh veggies and real meats that make it huge, satisfying, but not nearly as bloated as other cheese meat pizzas. You should definitely try them. read more

I have ate here about a dozen times over the past year and it's always good. The sauce on the pizza is great and the toppings are always fresh. They are quick and the staff is always friendly. I've done take out, dine in, and even the online order way and they have never messed up my order. They are reasonable too. A large pizza and salad feeds my wife, kids, and I for around $20.00. I ordered from Pizza Palace because it got really good reviews on Yelp. I ordered delivery online and my first impression was not so good. Tons of grammatical errors online through out the ordering process. I ordered Potato Skins and a large chicken bacon ranch grinder. After placing the order I received a phone call from them saying they don't have potato skins anymore...why is it online then?? Thirty minutes later I received my order, the driver was polite. But as soon as I opened my sandwich I knew I made a mistake. The chicken was a processed chicken patty, which really wasn't good. There was one slice of bacon on the Large sandwich and a small line of ranch. So really not impressed with the sandwich or online ordering. I ordered a delivery from this place which is located 5 min from my house. It was snowing, less than 2 inches on the ground. After 1 hour and ten minutes the call me to tell me their delivery driver driver can't make it to my house and is stuck.
