    Cheese Butter Garlic Chicken

Carb overload in the best possible way! Stopped by for lunch and got: - Basil Cream Tteokbokki: The tteokbokki was perfectly chewy and really liked the strong basil flavour of the cream sauce. Added in some sausage (generous portion), potato vermicelli noodles (slurpy and chewy) and fried fish cakes (really tasty and added a different texture to the dish) - Cheese Butter Garlic Chicken: Chicken was pretty tender. The sauce was not what I expected as it was really sweet. Not bad, just not garlicky at all. - Bulgogi Tofu Pocket: Pretty tasty bulgogi, pretty good rice to protein ratio. Place is fun with its astronaut theme. Space is welcoming. Menu is extensive. Service is quick. Prices are reasonable. Can see why people love this spot. Would definitely come back if I'm in the mood for tteokbokki.

Great place for Korean street food. The ordering is done on a tablet at the table which was pretty seamless. We were just there for a quick snack and got the rose tteokbokki and fried chicken. The tteokbokki was soft and chewy and the flavour was good. The fried chicken was nothing special but it went well with the rose sauce too.

They recently opened a location near Wellesley station. The restaurant is pretty aesthetic and has astronauts decors everywhere. There were plenty of seats (mainly for 2) and a couple tables of groups at the back. Because they were newly opened, they gave us drinks for free. We ordered these: spicy salmon rice balls: Pretty flavourful and we were given gloves to roll them. This was my fave item. Deep fried seaweed roll: We got this covered with sweet onion powder. This was good, it came with 4 pieces. Chicken cheese ball: We got this covered with honey butter garlic powder. This is pretty cheesy. I think I rather get actual chicken instead. Basil cream tteokbokki: I heard this is really popular so I ordered it. It came with a couple of sausage slices. The sausages were well seasoned and had a nice flavour. The basil cream I wasn't too much of a fan. I would stick with rose or normal teokbokki next time. Overall, service was good and food was reasonably priced. Would definitely come here again.

yummy little spot for tteobokki. i got the sijang (traditional) ($16) which was quite spicy. also got to try the rose and rice ball which were better so i would get those next time.

This is a nice fast food style Korean restaurant that serves snacks such as tteokbokki , rice bowls, and other fried snacks. There is an efficient ordering system at the table and food comes quickly. Food was quite good and pretty much exactly what I expected. There is also a 10% cash discount.

I was starting to get really hangry and irritated after walking around the city all day. We started with Korean beer and shots of Jinro Is Back Soyu. It was a good idea. Overall the food was quite good. I recommend everyone to check this restaurant out for themselves. The Korean pancake with seafood and vegetables was huge and much crispier than the one I've tried before. My beef tartare bibimbap was perfect. Just thinking about it makes me want to have it right now. The sizzling hot plate with pork and squid also looked very impressive. It must have been delicious as well, because one of my companions ate the whole thing with no problem. The spicy shredded beef brisket stew/soup 'Yukgaejang' was something which i wouldn't survive, but my man finished everything to the last drop. Hence we entered Jin Dai Lae. Good decision (yes, I am patting my back). Entree pricing was $3 to $4 lower than Markham/Richmond Hill. Portion was so big that you would be full, and might have to doggy bag. Most importantly, food tasted good. Short ribs stew had many pieces of beef. Squids hot plate was saucy. It wasn't too spicy, so it was good for me (menu didn't have a chilli sign either). For people who like it hot, you can ask for some chilli sauce.
