This is a farm to table restaurant near Olean. They actually own the farm where the raise the beef. Good selection of microbrew beers on tap. A few of us had the French onion soup. It was flavorful but could have used a bit more broth and the bread was a bit too dense for onion soup. Entrees included the hamburger, pittsburgh salad and dry aged steak. Burger was the best dish! The food here is very very good. I had the Triple B burger, and it was exceptional. The drinks are reasonably priced, the staff are very friendly and the service was good. The dining room is very large, and the tables are spread out to emphasize the feeling of spaciousness. The downside of the dining room is that the acoustics are horrible. There are no fabric or soft materials to baffle sound at all, which make every sound echo. One boisterous group and the whole room is deafening. People with hearing aids will probably not care for this place. Overall, the food was so good that I will risk the bad acoustics and go back. I recommend the homemade pretzels and cheese and go ahead, have the bourbon balls. You won't regret it. read more

The locally-sourced burgers are really good - my brother and father had the classic burger and my husband had the Triple B burger. It even has a yummy vegetarian nut burger that I had. Each burger comes with a small side salad with a house creamy Italian dressing and fries. Pretty atmosphere and good beers on tap. A little pricey but the quality for the price is obvious. read more

My wife and I had a gift card from here and we went with her daughter and boyfriend. I can not say enough positive things about it. The food, wonderful. Atmosphere , excellent. Portion size , filling. I had the pulled pork sandwich which had a wonderful , tangy but sweet sauce and fresh, crispy coleslaw on top, all on top of a homemade roll. It came with a nice salad with the house dressing and also fresh thinly cut French fries with a parmesan cheese coating. This was served on a single square plate in a beautiful presentation. The food is pretty decent here. However if you are planning on booking an event here be prepared to have the event manager try and over step ever decision that is made because she is over bearing and wants everything her way rather than what the person whose event it is wants. Stopped here for lunch while visiting family in the area. It was excellent. Hubby and I each had a local beer with a burger. I had the breakfast burger but not on French toast or maple mayo as noted on the menu (Im not a fan of sweet with burger, bacon and egg). Delicious angus burgers and parmesan truffle fries! Truly the BEST burger I've ever had. Their house dressing is really good as well. The only thing that we weren't a fan of was the appetizers (Amish pretzels, too hard & meatballs, on the bland side) but the burgers and fries were so fantastic that we quickly forgot about the appetizers. The expanded menu at this incredible location was excellent. One of the best steaks I have ever eaten. We were with a very large group and the service was superb. Wait till you see the views of the mountains, the driving range and enjoy the country yet city/village close location between Olean and Allegany on the beautiful repaved ( I think) river road. It's nicely decorated, modern and the view is beautiful. But the service was not good from the waitress at all. We waited for about 45 minutes for our food and she came over once to check on us, after we got our food my burger was raw. Due to weather we moved inside ourselves and sat at the bar because there were no rain tables. We told the bartender my burger was raw, she was more attentive than our waitress the whole time, she took it back for me. Weird that it took that long to cook a raw burger, then when she brought me a new one within 5 minutes it was cooked normally. Very loud, servers seemed lost, but we enjoyed the friendliness and attentiveness of the bartender and the view of the mountains. We would not return nor recommend this restaurant. read more

First off, amazing food and staff! Everything is so fresh and absolutely delicious. We had our wedding ceremony and reception here and it was everything we ever wanted. Rebecca herself is beyond amazing and the staff is just as amazing. They made sure everything we wanted was taken care of and went out of their way for everything else. Cannot say enough amazing things about this place! Whether you want to go and grab a bite to eat (which you should!!) or have an amazing place for a special day, take time to go to this restaurant. My husband and I decided to stop here for lunch on our way home from Erie. Wow, did we find a great place to eat. I cannot have gluten and they were more than accommodating. I told the waitress that I wanted a burger but would need it without the bun due to gluten allergy. She said, "oh that's not an issue, we'll give you a gluten free bun". I then told her I probably couldn't have the French fries due to cross contamination with the oil so she said she would talk to the chef. When she brought my lunch, she let me know that the chef fried my French fries in separate oil so they were completely gluten free. Wow!! The Parmesan truffle fries were absolutely delicious...what a special treat! My husband and I both got the Triple B burger and we both agreed, they were the best burgers we ever had. His was served on a soft pretzel bun. The fresh greens side salad with house dressing was great as well. The waitress was extremely helpful and it is a beautiful place. I would highly recommend this restaurant and even though it's an over an hour from our home, we will definitely go back. I am happy that I found this restaurant on the yelp application.
