Very good authentic old school Italian! The red sauce was delicious!! I will definitely go back !

3.5 stars. Staff are really friendly especially the waitresses! Our waitress was so fast and right ontop of bringing warm rolls, staying ontop of drink refills, and checking on us. Really old school a little beat up 90s pizza place vibe inside. Great warm soft rolls served with butter. Okay spaghetti, nothing to write home about, but it's the only Italian in Olean so it did the trick. Amazing meatballs! I wish we got more than 2 because they were the star of the show. I'd literally order a tray of those meatballs with minced garlic and cheese over them. Good fries perfectly cooked. Crispy outside creamy inside. Meh...not very good chicken parm sandwich. That patty was kind of dry inside. Not enough cheese. Okay sauce. Good bun, but it needed to be garlic or something the whole thing was just so bland. I hate saying this, but I've had better chicken parm sandwiches at dive bars, chains, 50s burger restaurant in Jamestown.. anywhere. I only ate half and left it. Desserts looked good, but I wasn't in the mood. read more

09/24/2025: An update: We stopped by for a late lunch and ordered from the dinner menu. The veal Parm was tender and delicious; the spaghetti with white clam sauce was loaded with chopped clams in addition to clams steamed open. We were there before the dinner rush, and left in under an hour. Artists have begun work on a mural on the garden patio on the south side. read more

I stopped here Wednesday night to have a pint and get some food to go. There was live music (a guy playing guitar and singing some good old classics). There were several tables with large family groups and a rather enjoyable atmosphere. I ordered lasagna to go. There was enough for dinner and lunch for me . Waitress was pleasant and busy and made sure I was taken care of. Definitely would recommend! I parked near the VA around back. read more

Used to love this place. Placed a takeout order today and was surprised that the total for 2 dinners and 1 order of mozzarella sticks was over $64! When I got a breakdown, I was charged $1 each for salad dressing for the salad that comes with the dinner! The mozzarella sticks were $12 for 5! And the dinners were priced several dollars above menu prices. Never again. read more

I was traveling for work and my coworkers aren't as adventurous with trying new places sooooo I went solo to Angee's. It was a traditional Italian restaurant. I sat at the bar and the young lady who served me was great. Friendly, had recommendations, and timed her visits very well. I had cheese ravioli with their homemade sauce. It was good not exceptional but solid. Now the tiramisu (I hope I spelled that right) was outstanding!!! Oh and it was huge, it could have been my meal!!! I'll say if I'm in Olean again I'll go back and try something else. It's worth going to check it out. Definitely get dessert read more

Every time I'm in town I make it a point to visit Angee's. Looking forward to tonight being there with my family members. There isn't a bad entree on the menu. Some of my favorite things are the mussels Sophia, the eggplant parmigiana (probably what i will eat tonight). The bar is well stocked and the service is impeccable. The kitchen staff will accommodate any special diet request that you might have. This is the best food in Olean and the surrounding area. Next time I'll take pictures. read more

I remember how good the restaurant and food was back in the 80s going as a kid and young adult. Times have changed, as well as the quality of the food. The dinner rolls served before dinner were very good. The side salads were more than enough to keep you satisfied before the main course. When ordering chicken parmigiana you expect that you'd get chicken. First bite I immediately knew it was veal. Not good by the way. Breading was bland and mushy and veal had an old taste to it. The side of spaghetti was very good however with their homemade sauce a top notch topping! The waitress was friendly, quick and answered any questions we had. The restaurant was fairly busy for a Thursday evening with a mix of young and old patrons. Was not too noisy however. I'd love to give Angee's 4 or 5 stars, but they can't be messing up easy Italian dishes and expect patrons to come back. However, I may give them a try again later this year in hopes of a better outcome. read more

I was a bit hesitant because some reviews weren't great. My girlfriend & I were very pleased!! I got shrimp Alfredo & it was great, she had a meatball sandwich which she loved! I got Antipasto salad, hot stuffed peppers, & deep fried meatballs to go for my husband. He loved the salad & peppers but the meatballs were pretty hard. We dine out more than we should and have encountered a lot of changes in waitstaff. Knowing the challenges all employers face, we just take everything with grace that warrants it and try to understand those challenges. I just want to say that going to Angees has been by far the best waitstaff/bartending, work together, crew we have encountered in a long time. I didn't get mines names but everyone was friendly and professional. Relaxing and welcoming place! We enjoyed our food and cocktails too and will make it a point to stop in more often! Angee's went above and beyond for our large group last night! I called a few weeks ago to make a reservation, and when we got there last night, our table was ready and waiting for us! The wait staff was friendly and accommodating. Our food came out in a timely manner and we all enjoyed our meals. We had two smalll kids in our party and they made a point to bring out their meals before everyone else's because they were getting restless. This is a small local place offering Italian American dishes in a comfortable atmosphere with alcohol available. I ordered the chicken parmesan and found the serving to be generous. It was a little heavy and sweet for me, but definitely filling. Service was standard and prices were acceptable for the amount of food that permitted leftovers. read more

Lasagna was amazing, pizza not so much. Chicken wings ordered mild, no flavor just a fried wing. Service, walked in to pick up a to go order three waitresses in the back no one came up to ask if I needed a table or what. Finally walked to the back to ask about my pick up where the waitress says to me the bartender does that which the bartender was on the phone. You would think because the waitress had nothing going on she might have asked for my name to see if the order was ready. I've never felt the urge to make a Yelp account until this experience. First things first, what you can see in the attached photograph is "Roman Shrimp" which consists of sundried tomato paste penne and shrimp. I received the tails to the shrimp attached and the pasta did not even have a sauce? The noodles were simply just coated. My friend had ordered chicken Alfredo and the chicken tasted like beef. The rolls tasted like stale bread. The two pasta dishes costed 40 all together and it was a very disappointing experience. read more

Angee's is an old family favorite. Came here as a child and brought my children as well. Their classic sandwiches, antipasto and pizza are all reasonably priced and very good. Their newer upscale dishes are catch as catch can with some being great and others so so. You come to Angee's for the nostalgia, family friendly atmosphere and to see friends you have known your whole life. read more

Not impressed. Had dinner a year ago and wasn't very happy but the wife and I thought to give angees another chance as we had very good meals there years ago. Beer was not cold, Ordered antipasto it was lacking in anything but lettuce very little meat, cheese and all the other fixins and very bland dressing. Doesn't anyone know how to make an antipasto? Absolutely terrible. Avoid at all costs. Management, read below and get your act together. To start: The bread basket was brought to our table, and the larger piece of what I believe was supposed to be Italian bread had a red sauce on it. Further inspection of the loaf showed it to be a partial hand print of someone in the kitchen (I hope) - red sauce on the side and on two spots on top. My fork and knife felt dirty (I ran my finger along each and I could feel the grit and residue left behind from improper cleaning). The table was sticky. I ordered a chicken salad with house dressing, the best part of the salad was the lettuce that was still dripping wet. The chicken tasted like it was 30 minutes overcooked. It was completely unseasoned, and crunchy (not crispy like battered chicken, but crunchy like severely overcooked chicken). The "house dressing" tasted like it was just 2 parts vegetable oil (not even olive oil) and one part apple cider vinegar. That's it. I found myself continually having to wipe oil off of my face. Not what you want when eating a salad. Before I left, I visited the rest room, which I really wish I hadn't. I've visited truck-stop rest rooms that were in better shape. Broken door frame, broken support rail, cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, filthy floor, toilet paper roll (almost empty) just set on the broken rail. The sink has those old-school handles that you have to manually keep turned to have water come out, but the kicker is that the WARM water doesn't even work - couple that with the fact that there's no "Employees Must Wash Hands Before Returning to Work" sign anywhere, and I wish I would have seen this first so I could have just left before trying the pitiful food. When leaving, another person in my party asked for a box to take the rest of their food home. The waitress was kind enough to box it up for us. She took the plate of food and a box to the table next to us, and used her bare hands to pick up the food and put it in the box. No washing her hands after handling money, no hand sanitizer, nothing. This is an absolutely disgusting restaurant .If you have any self-respect, dine elsewhere. Period. read more

Limited menu, bland food and poor service. This place sets the bar low for a dining experience. I had tried this place several times years ago and wasn't too impressed, but hey, they had a tv and it was March Madness. Tried it recently to give it another chance. Seems to be worse now. Suppose to be Italian but menu is mostly bar food. Pasta dish had no flavor. Bar service was unprofessional. We are in town for the evening and the companion wanted Italian, so reviews here and elsewhere pointed towards this being the best local choice. We had pasta selections which were overall good. Ravioli was fresh and a large portion. Meatballs were outstanding, among my favorite ever. The sauce was solid, hearty and had a bit of a spicy bite which I liked. The rolls weren't simply warmed they were toasty hot and a highlight. The only disappointment was that my spaghetti was a bit overcooked, tasted like it had been in a pot for awhile and ladeled out to me past it's normal shelf life, and so for that I deduct one star. Our waitress was friendly and made us feel VERY welcome! If you are in Olean and looking for a decent fairly priced Italian meal Angee's would be a good choice. read more

Great choice for a solo dinner while traveling on business. I saw families, friends gathered, and locals all in the mix. Nick the bartender was very friendly and helpful with menu recommendations. Angee's Burger did not disappoint. Fresh ingredients and hot food with prompt service. Plenty of TVs to catch multiple sports all at the same time. No ambience, all dishes were swimming in oil, service was terrible. After being seated and waiting 10 minutes (only 4 other tables filled), no one had come to leave menus or get drink order?!! We love it here. Always get great food. Huge portions. Decent service. Only issue we've ever had is when we do a to go order something is always missing or incorrect. And the portions are a lot smaller if you do to go. Otherwise we have always been very happy. Bring back Mediterranean Bread! read more

We were in on a quiet Tuesday night. Service was prompt as usual. I had Chicken Bethany that was perfectly prepared. Girlfriend had penne with chix& broccoli and her broccoli was a bit overdone. Still good. Avoid the red sauce unless bitter is your thing. Burgers and pizza are good as are the rum buckets and soups. Place can feel cheap with comedically unpadded booths and an up charge for lettuce and onions with burgers. Decent family restaurant. Just nothing WOW! read more

I work in Olean, and have gone there twice, for lunch. The first time, I ordered the half turkey sub and soup special. When I went to pick it up, the waitress took the last of the soup for her table, and told me they were out. I was given 2 of the half turkey subs, instead. When I arrived at my office, I discovered that, the turkey subs were actually just dinner rolls with a slice of turkey and too much lettuce. In the bag, just rolling around on top, they had thrown in 2 addditional dinner rolls. They weren't wrapped or in anything. Just chucked in. Just went back for the second time for a fish fry. For almost $12. I recieved a small piece of fish, a dinner roll, 18 small french fries. I did not get the cole slaw that was supposed to come with it, nor the extra lemon. The fish was not very good, either. Definately will NOT be going back to this restaurant! read more

Haven't been here in a few years because of a bad experience the last time I went, but decided to give it another try. Nothing had changed. Not a friendly face to be seen. The bar staff was rude and when my friend and I ordered one of their drink specials the young red head behind the bar rolled her eyes and then said something to one of the waitresses so the waitress kept looking at us and they both were scowling.
