Clarks is a little off the beaten path, but I couldn't have enjoyed my experience more. They have a wonderful veggie sub that was ready in under five minutes on a quiet fall Sunday afternoon. The BEST subs I've had in awhile! We did an online order and went to pick it up and the staff is awesome and super friendly. We got the philly and a chicken tender sub and both were delicious. The subs are PACKED and so filling, we split a half and it was still huge! We also split pizza logs and they were really good. The cherry pepper relish is awesome and the habanero jack cheese is SO GOOD AND ACTUALLY SPICY I loved it! Seriously go get Clarks. It is worth the $$!!! read more

Pleasantly surprised with this nice hole-in-the-wall sub shop in Olean, NY! Saw the 'Open' sign lit up as I was passing through town and made a quick U-Turn to check it out. The inside of the establishment was very small, but clean, with limited seating. The menu is posted on the wall with a number of subs I'd like to try in the future! Went with a half of Italian and some waffle fries and took it back to work. The first thing I noticed was the weight of the sub when I took it out of the bag. The sub was loaded with meat! Cheese, onion, lettuce, tomato, oil, mayo and banana peppers also were part of the 'everything' version of the sub. Tasted fantastic and am excited to try their other products. Had lunch bought for us at work yesterday I had the steak and chicken wrap because it sounded wonderful but after taking a bite of it realized it was not so wonderful. It had an awful taste to it , it tasted old. I'm thinking one of the meats was freezer burned, so I would suggest checking your dates on your items before cooking and sending them out to your customers VERY DISAPPOINTED !!!!!! read more

Place has really been solid since the opening until tonight.I ordered a full size Philly Cheesesteak and when I got home it was about 1/2 the normal size of past 16 months with all the meat stuck in the middle and nothing on last 3 inches of either end. I believe in second chances so I will try another night in future hoping this was just an anomaly read more

Stopped by for a quick meal as we were camping nearby. This place was a GREAT find!! Wings were great, but the chicken fingers (in garlic parm sauce) were absolutely delicious!!! Very good sub shop/burgers in the area. Very small inside but clean. They can get BUSY so order ahead if possible. Lots of action going on making subs and others goods. Ordered the Dagwood which had generous portions of meats and was seasoned well with their sauce. Also ordered the blt. Bacon was delicious. Lettuce and tomato was fresh and tasty. Food served on a metal tray which was nice. Wish they had more drink options but it didn't hurt anything. Would definitely eat here again if I was in the area. read more

It was absolutely delicious and I can't wait to have another. Should try another variety, but I can't stop remembering how good that choice was. The portions are very generous. They gave my son someone else's sub. He went all the way back to his dorm. Called they said sorry come get your sub. He went to go pick it up. They refused to give him the sub and made him drive back to his dorm to get the wrong sub. Olean doesnt really have much going for it in the food department, but Clarks Subs is serving up some pretty tasty subs, wings, and "smashburgers". The steak sub i got was great. Loaded with actual meat. Not some fake brown stuff attempting to be meat. I like bone-in traditional wings, but my wife got an order of boneless and let me try one, and they were much higher quality than most other places in the area. They had actual chicken inside. They also used a higher quality turkey on my wifes sub, and lots of it. The smashburger reminded me of Five Guys. Mostly because of the bun. You know how Five Guys' Bun is steamed, and has that soft texture, and when you bite it, it kind of sticks to the roof of your mouth a little? Thats how this was. All the veggies on everything was sliced super thin too which im always a fan of. No big clunky lettuce or anything. Quality establishment you have here Clark. Definitely worth a visit. read more
