When I'm in Olean, this is my go-to spot! The usual bartender (Sam) is phenomenal! I haven't seen her in almost a year and she still remembered me! She even introduced me to a new Irish Whiskey (new to me). The atmosphere is very "local bar." The owner Sean is awesome too. The kitchen is limited, but always good. Thursday nights are open mic and typically have cool food specials. The bar (including patio) was also recently renovated. All in all, great bar! read more

Not terrible but not great either. The service was fast and friendly and the atmosphere is what you would expect from an Irish Pub. The beer was cold and didn't break the bank for a pint. While I was here I ordered a Rodeo Burger, which was terrible. I'm not sure the beef party they used was ever fresh, and didn't really taste like beef. I would reccomend trying something else but if they cant pull off a edible burger then I'm not sure I'd risk it. read more

Went there for a Irish meal after reading the reviews and sadly was dissappointed. First, after ordering our beer, there where 4 of us, (Guinness of course, which was great) and after we received them, then we where informed that it was cash only.. would have been nice to know before ordering. We then ordered our food-Shepherds Pie and Guinness beef stew When our food finally arrived, we where served one Shepherds pie and one beef stew, then about 5 minuets later the other Shepherds pie, and then over 5 mins. later the other beef stew. The first two who where served had finished their meal before the last one was served. If you want to go for a few beers than this is the place, but careful with the food it was okay but, not freshly cooked. read more

Talty's is a great place!! The bartenders, Stacey and Kaylee, are excellent. The owner, Sean, is a wonderful host. The prices are great and there is a wide selection of beers. I would definitely go back to Talty's. I highly recommend this fun, friendly neighborhood bar!! read more
