Food was very good, had the "Jack Hammer" (Layers of Ham, Pepperoni, & Cooney's Mountain Mustard between two Grilled Pepper Jack Cheese Sandwiches) with French fries and both were outstanding!! Had the mustard on the side to dip the sandwich and fries, recommend that way to enjoy the sandwich flavor without over powering by the mustard. Wife had the Wings and side salad which she said meets her standard (she's from the Buffalo area). Mother had the Philly cheesesteak which was good but a bit sloppy. Recommend this location for at least lunch, will have to try dinner there sometime, apparently they have a Steak Dinner deal on Thursday! Enjoy. read more

We went here recently with a few other couples as one of our friends was in the mood for wings and these were advertised favorably. I didn't know at the time we were going to turn this into a meal, but that is what happened. First off, the service was very good. There were several people who attended to us and kept checking in to make sure we were doing okay. We had wings, fries and fried mushrooms. A few other items I remember were french onion soup, a burger and perhaps something else I am forgetting. The Fries were fantastic. The fried mushrooms started as an afterthough but we ended up with two baskets of them, and the portions were huge. We easily could have just gone with one. The big problem was the wings. We ordered I think 35-40 between the two tables we pulled together. When they came, I could tell immediately that they were cold underneath and then they just doused them with hot sauce to try and cover it up. This is exactly the way I do not like wings served but it happens a lot, even in Buffalo. It's probably more of an issue of timing but these wings were not good at all and we left about half of them behind. Someone asked why we didn't send them back and my thought was I didn't have the time or confidence that they would come out properly again. We ordered them, we paid for them and that is that. If I went back, I'd just order a burger, or maybe a fish sandwich and add the fries or a side salad. I am sure they would nail that. Wings are tougher to perfect. read more

They are known for their wings, large variety of specialty burgers, football games, and fries. The burgers and fries will blow you away. The Philly burger was mouth watering good and savory. The ranch is thick, creamy, and perfectly tangy. I wasn't the biggest fan of the butterfly shrimp though. It has been over 2 years since I have been back home (Olean) and Randy's wings were one of the *must haves* on my list for while there. Maybe it is because the Chicken/ Buffalo Wing originated in this area or maybe Michigan just doesn't know how to make them but I have yet to find anywhere that has wings like they do here (WNY), and Randy's is certainly at the top of that list! The wings are crispy & meaty; cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend the Jack Daniel's wings but if my memory serves me right, the 24-Carat Gold are equally as great. And their blue cheese, there is definitely nothing like that back in MI. Thank you, Randy's, for being one of the few things that hasn't changed back home!!!! Randy's was recommended to me by a friend as a good place to go for a fish fry. It was good, but not great. The sides were brought out ahead of the fish; far enough ahead so that they were long gone by the time the fish arrived. The fish was good-sized and had a pretty decent beer batter. The price was really reasonable; at first we thought they had forgotten to charge us for one of our dinners. The dining room and bar are dark, cozy and very casual. I will definitely be back some time for their wings, even though it's a little bit of a trek from my hometown. We were there for the food, but it seems like a pretty cool bar to hang out at. There was a really eclectic group of people; everyone from college students to bikers, the night that we were there. This place is a great bar/restaurant. They are known for their delicious wings in a vast array of flavors. Our group started off with a sampler platter called "hodge podge", which included an assortment of their fried appetizers-breaded cauliflower and mushrooms, mac n cheese bites, pizza logs, cheese sticks, poppers, onion rings. A caloric overload for sure, but you don't want to pass this up! The wings are the star of the show- ordered crispy, and are meaty and larger in size, as advertised. Loved the 24 carat gold sauce, and mild wing sauce. If you love good wings, gotta get the mild flavor right! These wings are just plain good eating!!! Enjoyed the decor and river setting. This is a very cute bar. Service: my mother, sister and I were there about 4pm. One waitress at the time for all the tables ans she kept up very well. Was great with questions and suggestions. Food: If you are looking for a greasy tasty meal then this place is perfect. Their wings are crispy and nicely sized. The mini corndogs are a nice fair food starter. I had the ridiculous Gorilla burger. That was a huge pile of crazy deliciousness. A juicy burger between two grilled cheese sandwiches. I felt so ashamed yet extremely thrilled after I finished it. Atmosphere: Its decorated fairly adorable for a riverside bar. And yes its got a rougher crowd at night. But its definitely worth checking out. On our drive to Madison my wife was looking up places to eat and thought Randy's had a lot of promise. I'm typically a fan of dive bars so we gave it a shot. Place didn't seem to busy so it seemed like it would be a nice quick dinner before getting back on the road. I was wrong... We sat for about 10 minutes before receiving menus, we were then told by the waitress that she'd be right back. Well after 15 minutes of checking other tables and then literally starting to clean them she came over and apologized about forgetting about us. Fair enough things happen at least she was nice and the food wood come fast right? Haha nope. We ordered some boneless wing dings? And two sandwiches. It took roughly 40 minutes for us to receive our entire order. The wings (basically Tyson's anytizers) weren't great but we did enjoy our sandwiches. So two stars instead of one because we did enjoy the sandwiches. But I mean having to wait an hour for sandwiches in a place that wasn't even at half its capacity is insane. read more

Came for Monday wing night. 45 cent wings that were cooked perfectly. They were absolutely delicious. I also received a large portion of fries as well. Server was funny, and all employees were personable. This place reminded me of a modern day saloon. I have heard locals call this a biker bar, but from what I saw there were people from all walks of life. The portion was large but I was a bit disappointed in the flavoring. The wings here however, are phenomenal. Though I have been to Randy's before, I have never been impressed with the bar staff. First I ordered a cranberry and vodka, and they did not have any premium vodkas (Grey Goose, Kettle One, or Belvedere), so I was forced to drink the rot-gut house vodka. In addition to their poor selection, I paid for me and my friend's two rounds of drinks. So altogether 2 beers and two cranberry and vodkas. My friend needed some cash for later in the night and since they don't have POS systems that accept credit cards my friend had to use their ATM, which you take the receipt and give it to the bartender who will then give you the cash. At that time the bartender told my friend he owed her for the two beers he drank (the same two I had previously purchased). Not only did she double charge us for the beer, but she started to argue with me when I told her I had already paid for his drinks, and he needed his money back. Long story short, if you are looking for a place with food and good drinks there are a hundred other bars in the Allegany/Olean area where you can get one with a better selection and for cheaper prices. read more
