I had 3 different beers, the IPA is not very hoppy but drinkable. The Dead in a hurry IPA was very good and the pale ale was good. The BBQ beef sandwich was tasty but the bun was so big and hard I took the top off. The tots were good. The BBQ sauce on the wings was very good. They have a shrimp special cooked any way you want. This is great. The shrimp are very nice sized and very inexpensive. It was a great shrimp meal. Service was a little slow but is pretty much everywhere now. My only real complaint is the bleu cheese is made in house and is the worst you've ever tasted! If you go here, Rookies or beefeaters bring your own bleu cheese for wings! read more

Food and service were fine. Very nice building inside and out. The draft beer is a huge problem with it taking several minutes to pour each mug due to a foam problem (and still too much foam when you finally are served the beer). The owner needs to address this since it's stressful for the bartender/server and annoying to the customers for the wait and for not receiving a full beer. read more

The only thing that was good about this experience was the beer. Our service was horrible and the food was mediocre at best. My sandwich had to be sent back because it was prepared incorrectly. The bacon on our loaded tater tots was burnt to a crisp. Our waitress was somewhere in outer space. The bartender and a person who appeared to be a manager delivered our food and checked in on us. We had to ask for salt, pepper, ketchup, the bill and a to go container. The gentleman that checked us out was sitting at the bar on a laptop, appearing to be a customer. We voiced our complaints to this person as well as the bartender and we're given nothing more than an "I'm sorry". We will go elsewhere and spend our $60 next time. read more

Tried a couple beers. First beer I had came from the tap super foamy. Server did the best she could but my glass was only filled about 80% with beer, 20% foam. Beer was flat with no carbonation in the glass. Beer tasted sour; it was skunked. I got a different beer, but same problem. It tasted a little better, but was still bad. I didn't want to cause more of a fuss, so I drank it anyway and left. Don't know what to think when a brewery has a problem with their taps and doesn't know it, they should have some sort of quality control. They blamed it on being closed for the last 3 days, but it's most likely because they have too much or too little pressure in their system, haven't cleaned their system, or the beer is just very old. Pretty amazing, as reading the other posts here, this has been noted by other helpers FOR ALMOST TWO YEARS, yet they have done nothing to address their terrible tap system. Don't know how they stay in business serving skunked beer for two years. read more

Beers were all poured wrong with too much foam. The kids menu says it comes with one item, one side, and a cookie. But they don't actually have cookies so the kids were disappointed. Steamed broccoli is flavorless and nearly raw so I'd avoid that. Mac and cheese is overpriced for the small portion and bland cheese sauce. Place has potential but they'd have to use better ingredients and training on how to pour beer. read more

I wish 0 stars was an option. What a wasted opportunity. This is such a rural area, I was surprised to find a brewery! My only expectation was a decent beer. But alas, it wasn't meant to be. The 'beer tender' was completely clueless with regards to talking about the beers. I ordered a pint and I kid you not, she reached into the fridge below the bar and took out a pitcher. She had PRE POURED beers! I stopped her and asked for a fresh pour, she tried...good lord, did she try. 5 minutes later, after fighting with the head, I just said give it to me as is. Drank it, paid and split. Terrible experience. I get that it might be hard finding quality staff in such a remote location, but a little education on the owners part would go a long way. Most servers are very good but "V" is not very attentive and has issues taking orders asking more than once and still gets it wrong. Pretty good experience overall, especially for being open only a week. I had a Boom Boom Burger. They didn't ask how I wanted it cooked, but it came out medium I'd say. Nice flavor and it was a good size. The fresh cut fries could have been a little crispier, but not bad. My wife had the ham and apple salad. Ben Grice's lettuce was superb, but the presentation could have been better. As far as the beer goes, I was please, I just hope they remain consistent. We'd like to see more gluten free options. There are several things on the menu that could be made gluten free with slightly different prep and/or having GF bread or rolls on hand. Service was ok. We weren't asked how our meal was until we had already eaten. Overall I would recommend and will eat there again. read more

Small brew pub with 13 of its own beers available on draft and to go in growlers or crowlers. Their beer is delicious. I tried a raspberry wheat beer, a maple flavored beer, a pecan flavored brown ale, and a stout with hints of marshmallow named for a local band. All were excellent. I recommend the pecan and the marshmallow above all. An appetizer of buffalo cauliflower was delicious and fresh, and the tater tots and steamed broccoli I ordered as sides were excellent. The barbecue beef sandwich was good, but not exceptional. Service was great, atmosphere was cool, with decor paying homage to Bradford's history as an oil town in the 19th and early 20th century. Well worth a stop if you are in the area, and a great spot if you are a local. read more

Went there on a Saturday October 14th. Our first and our last visit. Service was bad to non existent. Took forever to get beer. Place orders for chicken and waffles, the boom boom burger and Ahi tuna for an apetizer. Tuna arrived it was not Ahi tuna it was pink, not dark red like Ahi is supposed to be. It was covered with sesame seeds that were barley toasted with wosabi that was not hot at all. Had to track down staff for the syrup that was supposed to come with the chicken and waffles. Fries were soggy and had to find ketchup from another table. Beer was good but not worth the bad food and service. If you are in the Bradford area, do yourself a favor and go to the Westline Inn. read more

For being only the second week of being open I would say overall the experience was pretty good. The wait staff was a tad slow, and we were slow be greeted and given a table. Everyone was very nice though that we came in contact with. All expected though really, and I am confident those things will improve. So those items are not being weighted in my review. I went with my wife and son, and noticed right off hand that there was no kids menu. Buying a $12 bowl of mac and cheese for a toddler is a little much in my book. Another thing noticed on the food menu was the complete lack of Gluten Fee items. There are only 2 meals (salads) listed as GF, and the one is only if you don't get croutons. I noticed a lot of the sides are listed as GF, but I doubt they are using a separate fryer for those items. I may be wrong though. I got a flight of 4 beers which were all very tasty, but each glass was only filled up about half full even without any head. I hope they stay consistent with the quality of beer that they are producing, because each beer I had I would have again as a full glass. The prices are pretty exceptional for craft beers also. read more

This is my second time visiting this establishment. This is the first (and last) time I've eaten food here. I will say that they have a great beer list (#9 Barker Amber Ale). The atmosphere is energetic. The servers are very friendly. Overall great place for a beer. Realizing that is a bar - not a bar and grill - just a yuppie bar in Bradford, PA, I should have not ordered an avocado and orange salad with chicken but I'm tired of eating the standard fried and fast-food. With that said there are still some basic standards that should be followed like marking sure the lettuce isn't wilting; more than just a cup of diced chicken (when I'm paying an extra $4); and the cucumbers are fresh. I rate them a 3 because of their desire to be a pleasant place to grab a beer. Enjoy. read more

This was our first time here. It has a theme and is very interesting but they didn't seem to "go for it." The beer was actually very good, but neither entree we ordered was too impressive. The portions were a little surprising in both directions. It was very loud. I guess music was playing, but we never heard it. First time we dined here in a couple of years. It used to be amazing and was always packed. It was virtually empty and now we know why. Service was slow. we didn't get our drinks until half way through dinner. The wine was flat, my friends beer tasted funky, my other friends Moscow mules were served in beer glasses instead of copper cups and tasted like flat ginger ale. The food was not good either. I ordered a chicken quesadilla that smelled like dirty armpit and the cheese tasted funky. This was supposed to come with salsa and sour cream and instead came with salsa and mayo. I asked for sour cream and never received it. Not that it mattered, I didn't eat the quesadilla anyway, for fear I would be ill later. My friends Buffalo chicken flatbread was forgotten and not brought out until everyone was finished eating. The other meals (grilled chicken wraps and chicken tenders were edible. My friend did not receive a discount or anything for her meal coming substantially late. All in all...very disappointing. This was our second visit to the Brew Station, our first since the pandemic. Things have changed and not for the better. First of all, there are no menus available to look at. You have to scan a code and try to read the menu from your tiny phone screen. This is not a good option for us senior citizens. Probably not a problem for the younger patrons. I ordered the beef tenderloin tip sandwich. The meat was very over cooked and dry. I asked for msyo in an attempt to add some moisture and was more than a little shocked when I got the check to see we were charged for the mayo. The final disappointment came when we were leaving. I told a server about my unsatisfactory sandwich. She acknowledged my complaint but didn't offer anything in compensation. I didn't ask for anything. As we left the restaurant with my disabled sister, they stood and watched us leave without offering to hold the door for the wheelchair. All in all, a disappointing outing. read more

It pains me to write a review like this about a local brewery, but it is warranted. Stopped in tonight for date night. The beer was pretty good, tater tots were good but a little salty, but the service was horrible. We were there for about an hour, the last 20 minutes without any drinks or food. 5 different times a server came out, looked at us and went to another table. Waved at them a couple time and was not acknowledged. Told the manager and was told, I'm sorry we are short staffed. I wasn't looking for an excuse. I would never recommend anyone to go there. (I was even wearing my Hoptymist shirt showing how much I love craft beer!) read more

Very disappointed. Should have guessed it might not be good when at 5 pm we were only customers in dining room. Lobster dip was nothing but cream cheese no lobster the cream cheese wasn't even stirred all the way in. Chicken in waffles the waffles were like rubber. Texas cheeseburger they warned they cook it well which I'm fine with but what they did was char the outside so bad that the middle was still pink. Good side waitress was good and did take off meals. That I can appreciate it it wasn't her fault. read more

If you like to wait 7-10 minutes to get seated well you will be upset. We waited around that time to just seat ourselves(yes they seat you) . After finding our seat we sat there another 5 without anybody saying a word to us. Once we were noticed the bartender was our waitress. She was pleasant enough.. except every drink we asked about was " changed out" because " things change". We recieved our drinks in a timely fashion. Then we waited another 15-20 minutes for our food.( 2 burgers. 1 classic and a bacon egg and cheese). After finding the under cooked rubbery like bacon. I proceeded to eat the burger which was just a burger. For $11.95 I expect a decent burger not something less than or equal to Wendy's. Maybe the burger was better than described but the bun was cheap and just awful. The fries were freshly cut soggy potatoes. The silverware was borderline plastic. Only once during our 45-60 minute visit were we asked if were okay. I guess we didnt want anymore drinks... all in all I dont think we will ever be back. Such a bad first experience. We just went in to try the beer. Settled on a couple flights and the Charcuterie tray. Both were well worth the money. The meat and cheese tray exceeded our expectations. It was a great alternative to more common appetizers. Will be going back again. read more
