a glass of beer on a table
Leslie P.

The only thing that was good about this experience was the beer. Our service was horrible and the food was mediocre at best. My sandwich had to be sent back because it was prepared incorrectly. The bacon on our loaded tater tots was burnt to a crisp. Our waitress was somewhere in outer space. The bartender and a person who appeared to be a manager delivered our food and checked in on us. We had to ask for salt, pepper, ketchup, the bill and a to go container. The gentleman that checked us out was sitting at the bar on a laptop, appearing to be a customer. We voiced our complaints to this person as well as the bartender and we're given nothing more than an "I'm sorry". We will go elsewhere and spend our $60 next time.

Pouring from pre-poured pitchers. I kid you not

I wish 0 stars was an option. What a wasted opportunity. This is such a rural area, I was surprised to find a brewery! My only expectation was a decent beer. But alas, it wasn't meant to be. The 'beer tender' was completely clueless with regards to talking about the beers. I ordered a pint and I kid you not, she reached into the fridge below the bar and took out a pitcher. She had PRE POURED beers! I stopped her and asked for a fresh pour, she tried...good lord, did she try. 5 minutes later, after fighting with the head, I just said give it to me as is. Drank it, paid and split. Terrible experience. I get that it might be hard finding quality staff in such a remote location, but a little education on the owners part would go a long way. This is not how I'd want the fruits of my labor served.

Try a "Sex on Kinzua Beach" and all the beers!

Amazing drinks, great staff, food is good and the theming and details of the asthmatic are top notch! First time visitor but we will be coming back every visit in the future. Definitely Bradford's best offering for out of town visitors.

Pretty good experience overall, especially for being open only a week. I had a Boom Boom Burger. They didn't ask how I wanted it cooked, but it came out medium I'd say. Nice flavor and it was a good size. The fresh cut fries could have been a little crispier, but not bad. My wife had the ham and apple salad. Ben Grice's lettuce was superb, but the presentation could have been better. As far as the beer goes, I was please, I just hope they remain consistent. We'd like to see more gluten free options. There are several things on the menu that could be made gluten free with slightly different prep and/or having GF bread or rolls on hand. Service was ok. We weren't asked how our meal was until we had already eaten. Overall I would recommend and will eat there again.

As for food, they usually have shareables such as pretzels, tacos, etc. While we were there we had tacos and soup. The chicken potato vegetable soup is made by a local chef who apparently wins the soup contest each year. It was obvious why when we took our first bite. The tacos were excellent! Having them and the soup turned into a nice combo for dinner. Service - the staff here is always so nice. They're very interested in you and will share Log Yards history with you. They do beer samples and flights. Hospitality is top notch in these small towns. Ambience - very cool old building with a lot of wood! The owner does some incredible wood working. Big tables, live edge, mirrors with wood inlays, awesome. Place is clean and fun with games and cool things to buy! Enjoy!

When we were acknowledged they wouldn't even look at us. It was quite strange. We ended up buying a 4 pack to take to camp and leaving. It wasn't busy so I'm not sure why it was so uninviting but it wasn't for us. We took our beers across the street to the park and listened to some polka before heading back to our camp. The beer was cold and made for a great drink as we set up camp and built a fire. I didn't get the full dining experience but with service like we experienced I didn't need to spend an hour in there to make my judgement.

Let me preface this by saying I've about had it with the so-called breweries popping up everywhere,…read moreeach one seemingly more committed to clichés than the last. You know the drill: no table service, order at the bar using a kiosk or an iPad, which makes you feel less like a customer and more like a data entry clerk. And don't even get me started on the servers who act like they're doing you a favor by taking your order. Then there are the long lines to order your drinks and food, which completely destroy any semblance of a pleasant customer experience. Waiting in a queue that resembles a theme park line just to get a drink ruins the whole vibe (this is an ABSOLUTE dealbreaker for us). Oh, and let's not forget the chaotic atmosphere--kids running amok, dogs, and live bands cranking out tunes that make it impossible to hold a conversation. It's a sensory overload that just isn't my cup of tea. Now that I've gotten that off my chest, let's get to the beer. We ordered a flight, which is the trendy way to say "sampler," and I must admit, one or two out of the six beers were decent--particularly the hazy IPA, which was a bright spot in an otherwise dull lineup. Most of the other brews were solid but forgettable, a far cry from the unique, crafted experiences that breweries claim to provide. Overall, we did enjoy the beer! As for the food, it was a parade of disappointment. We tried the garlic and Parmesan wings, shrimp tacos, and, of course, the infamous Bent burger. Ah, the Bent burger--a prime example of how a simple, delicious hamburger can be completely ruined by a slew of unnecessary toppings. Instead of sticking to the classic approach of a juicy patty, they decided to throw on pork, a fried egg, and a medley of other ingredients that clashed rather than complemented each other. It was a chaotic mishmash of flavors that worked against itself, leaving me wondering why anyone thought this was a good idea. Gimmicks like that are rarely a recipe for success in my experience. The tacos and wings? Equally lackluster. The wings were bland, devoid of any real flavor punch despite the garlic and Parmesan claims, and the tacos were so underwhelming they could have been served at a school cafeteria. In summary, Bent Run Brewery is just another cog in the wheel of craft beer clichés, serving up a loud atmosphere, long lines, and gimmicky food that fails to impress. If you're looking for a genuine experience with great beer and simple, tasty food, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. If you are able to "plug in" to this nonsense, then it's worth a try.

It's very family friendly so expect lots of kids and not a lot of supervision. The food I've had was fine- it's a brewery so I don't expect fine dining. The beer is mid from what I'm told. Due to this, they only had fans to keep cool while circulating the outdoor air. Since we had our pup with us, we were only able to sit in the patio area, but it's not like the "indoor" area was really indoors. Anyways, I wasn't in the mood for drinking, so just had some lunch here. There's two restaurants combined at the food counter (which used to be food trucks here). You can get pizza from pizza and subs from Flo Bros Pizza and wings, burgers and sandwiches from Marin Eats. I had the Crabcake Sandwich ($15) with Tots (+$2). The sandwich was solid and tots were crispy. It's a nice space to hang out with a group. There are pinball machines, cornhole, and games for entertainment. It's nicely situated next to a creek, so you get a bit of nature too.
