Super tasty feel-good hipster coffee. This is part of a small chain, but I've been told this is the best location. Parking is available in the Boulevard Park lot. Plenty of spots. According to a sign inside, this building was originally a boat repair shop (explains the boat launch right next to the building), then a pottery studio. I must say the interior has quite a bit of character, including the quirky layout and the mezzanine seating area. There is also a W facing outdoor patio. The coffee is definitely on the pricier side, but it is good stuff I must say. Worth popping by and grabbing a coffee before checking out Boulevard Park and the really nice boardwalk. This is my favorite Woods Coffee outlet due to its location by Boulevard Park. I love the rustic cabin lodge feel of the place, plus it is right by the waters. If you do sit out by the patio, you can only access it from inside. But there are so many benches out there so I usually take my coffee to go. The coffee itself is ok. The pastries always look very appetizing but they are also just ok. Staff is friendly and service is great here. There is also a walk up window outside to order. This might be the coolest location coffee spot I have ever been to! We were taking the scenic route from Vancouver, Canada to Seattle and wanted to stop for something warm on the drive. This coffee spot has a walk-up counter to order from outside or you can go indoors and escape the cold! There are tons of seating options and also a deck to sit outside along the water. We stopped in on a Saturday morning and it was really busy, but the service was excellent and our lattes came out quickly. We also purchased 3 fresh bags of coffee beans to go and it's some of the best coffee I've ever made at home! I asked her if Salted Caramel Latte was available, and she said yes. So I ordered Salted Caramel Latte. After receiving the drink, my drink was just regullar latte. They made it again, but once again, Caramel Latte was served, finally in the third time I was able to get my drink. The staff who served the drink again were kind, but the staff who were taking the order didn't really check our order or even make eye contact and she didn't even say sorry when I said my order was wrong. I visited with a great view and a memory of delicious coffee, but I don't recommend it anymore. Having a lot of customers doesn't mean you can be rude to me. read more

I also tried a scone- it was a little more of a muffin, it was really soft but still delicious. I went to this coffee shop while at Western Washington University for family weekend. Walking into this coffee shop, I truly felt a small town feel with locals relaxing, students hitting the books and the employees helping each customer that came in. One of our coffees spilled (We knocked it over) moments after we received it and they replaced it for free, cleaned up our awful mess and said with a nice smile, no problem, these things happen to all of us. I love this Woods location! It is right on the water and has an amazing view. There is plenty of seating, making it the perfect place to bring a laptop and get some work done. They will serve you your drink in an actual ceramic cup if you are planning to drink it there. The service is also very good. The staff is friendly and and completely willing to customize a drink so you can have it just the way you want it. Today I ordered a small double shot cappuccino. I prefer a dry cappuccino, but I usually don't ask for one because I don't want to be a bother by customizing my drink too much. The barista asked me after I placed my order "and how would you like your cappuccino?" I have never had a barista ask if I wanted any customization on a drink without me prompting them. I can't be too much of a judge because I don't drink coffee. I order a kid's hot chocolate, and they always put whipped cream and sprinkles on the exterior of the lid.
