The food at woods is always driven and has a purpose. I would describe the service as not too fast or too slow but just right. Ambiance is best for a coffee date or studying. But don't go outside to study in a windy day.... the wind will steal your papers. read more

, I've had a lot of coffee in my life since I first started drinking it ranging from. Espressos to Lattes and everything in between. I've had espressos that tasted like mud. I've had lattes that tasted like lukewarm bean water and lattes that tasted like they were brewed by a robot with a grudge. But the latte I had at **Woods Coffee**? Pure, caffeinated magic. I'm pretty sure they didn't just steam milk; they whispered sweet nothings to it until it turned into silk. The ambience both upstairs and downstairs, in addition to having a beautiful view of the bay gives a vibe that is as warm as the coffee and tea and almost as warm as the hearts of the staff In fact it may even pale in comparison to the warmth of the crew: **Nate, Madeline, and Jesse.** These three aren't just baristas; they are basically the Avengers of hospitality. They are so friendly and kind that I'm convinced they might actually be humanitarian saints working undercover in the coffee industry. **Full Disclosure:** During my visit, I encountered a brief personal complication regarding my payment. Usually, this results in a walk of shame out the door. But Nate, Madeline, and Jesse: Rather than treating me like a transaction, handled the situation with an incredible level of empathy, kindness, and professionalism. Their ability to prioritize the customer experience has made me a huge fan of the Woods Coffee brand as such humanitarian grace is rare in the service industry today. They didn't just provide a caffeine fix. They just didn't provide the best Latte I have ever had. More than all that, they built genuine brand loyalty.. Go for the latte, ( the best in Puget Sound if not the country and stay because the staff will make you believe in humanity again read more

Love this woods branch! Beautiful location, lots of people in and out and lots of tables if you feel like chilling. They even have a little walk up window for anyone with a pup! Coffee and pastries were great and they even have a little fireplace. The service was a little on the slow side but I believe they were training a person or two. read more

We recently visited WOODS Coffee at Boulevard Park, and it became our go-to spot for grabbing a coffee when we are heading south. We felt warmth and coziness when we stepped into the lodge-style café with its large fireplace and an upper mezzanine perfect for quiet moments. After enjoying our coffees in this charming atmosphere, we took a leisurely walk along the South Bay trail. The simplicity of the walk, paired with the stunning waterfront views of Bellingham, made it an unforgettable experience that we will cherish. Woods Coffee - The view right outside and along the walk on the water - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Bellingham, Washington

Woods Coffee is a wonderful cafe on the water in the Fairhaven area of Bellingham, WA. The decor is warm and calming, which is perfect for for working and studying, and there is plenty of seating inside and outside on the patio. The patio area is gorgeous and overlooks the water. It's great for people watching and saying hello to the many dogs that happily walk by with their owners. The menu offers a variety of coffee and tea items as well as pastries, breads and breakfast sandwiches. I thoroughly enjoyed my London Fog. It was creamy, sweet and delicious. Definitely give Woods Coffee a try the next time you're in town! read more

Not sure her name, maybe Alexa? Short dark hair, some fun tattoos. Anywho, she was great! Made my coffee in record time and made great conversation. I was in a bit of a rush so I wasn't looking for too much chat, but she was entertaining AND speedy. Thank you to Alexa/Alexis/Alix! read more

Super tasty feel-good hipster coffee. This is part of a small chain, but I've been told this is the best location. Parking is available in the Boulevard Park lot. Plenty of spots. According to a sign inside, this building was originally a boat repair shop (explains the boat launch right next to the building), then a pottery studio. I must say the interior has quite a bit of character, including the quirky layout and the mezzanine seating area. There is also a W facing outdoor patio. The coffee is definitely on the pricier side, but it is good stuff I must say. Worth popping by and grabbing a coffee before checking out Boulevard Park and the really nice boardwalk. Recommended. read more

This is my favorite Woods Coffee outlet due to its location by Boulevard Park. I love the rustic cabin lodge feel of the place, plus it is right by the waters. If you do sit out by the patio, you can only access it from inside. But there are so many benches out there so I usually take my coffee to go. The coffee itself is ok. The pastries always look very appetizing but they are also just ok. Staff is friendly and service is great here. There is also a walk up window outside to order. I like how there is a self service water dispenser with cups and lids put out there. read more

This might be the coolest location coffee spot I have ever been to! We were taking the scenic route from Vancouver, Canada to Seattle and wanted to stop for something warm on the drive. This coffee spot has a walk-up counter to order from outside or you can go indoors and escape the cold! There are tons of seating options and also a deck to sit outside along the water. We stopped in on a Saturday morning and it was really busy, but the service was excellent and our lattes came out quickly. We also purchased 3 fresh bags of coffee beans to go and it's some of the best coffee I've ever made at home! The park nearby this location is great for spending time outdoors and walking around with your beverage. Really cute spot! read more

Great coffee and employees!! Very comfortable place! Great atmosphere with large windows all around. Sits on corner of Railroad & Chestnut and can see sky and lots of trees and activity on corner. The location is amazing... the breakfast sandwiches are delish.. but we have only one major complaint... . The coffee and teas drinks are WAAYY too hot. We are not able to enjoy our breakfast sandwiches with our drinks because even after adding lots of ice... it's a good half hour until our drinks are cool enough. Tired of getting a burned tongue from scalding hot beverages. Please turn down the heat. Update: After listening to the Manager's input...We wil ask for cooler temps in the future.. read more

This is one of my favorite places in the whole world. Their coffee is delicious, their employees are amazing and always remember me (and make the best surprise rushes) and the location is beyond amazing. I visited on January 1st with a good heart. I ordered around 12 o'clock, but Cashier was really unkind. She was really rude and made me feel uncomfortable. I asked her if Salted Caramel Latte was available, and she said yes. So I ordered Salted Caramel Latte. After receiving the drink, my drink was just regullar latte. They made it again, but once again, Caramel Latte was served, finally in the third time I was able to get my drink. The staff who served the drink again were kind, but the staff who were taking the order didn't really check our order or even make eye contact and she didn't even say sorry when I said my order was wrong. I visited with a great view and a memory of delicious coffee, but I don't recommend it anymore. Having a lot of customers doesn't mean you can be rude to me. read more

A definite must-stop if you're in this area - the location along the water is absolutely gorgeous and I especially like the walking path that even has spots for sitting and enjoying the views. This is a wonderful spot to gather with friends or to simply enjoy a contemplative cup of coffee solo. Nestled near the beach, at the other end of the boardwalk from the Taylor Dock, Woods Coffee provides an excellent year-round meeting place at Boulevard Park. Order a Cup of Joe and something to nosh from the takeout window and continue on your journey to (or through) the park or come inside and settle by the fireplace, but do it! You'll be glad you did. Whether you're on your own, with others or meeting someone, Woods offers a delightful respite from the day-to-day matters that plague our daily lives. Here, you can enjoy a coffee, tea or alternative beverage of your choice (with or without something to nosh) inside, upstairs, by the fireplace or on the patio overlooking Bellingham Bay. Although parking can be challenging at sunset, on summer mornings or during weekend events, typically there is ample parking available for those who can't spare the time to visit on foot or on their bike. Sit by the fireplace in the winter or on the patio overlooking Bellingham Bay in the summer, but there's no better place to enjoy both the view and a cup of Joe than Woods at Boulevard Park. Bellingham sports plenty of equally great spots to enjoy sunset, none provide a better view than Boulevard Park, the patio behind Woods, the Taylor Dock or the boardwalk that runs between them. read more

Super cute coffee spot right by the water. Coffee was delicious and the inside was incredibly cute- name of the cafe is incredibly fitting! I tried their latte and was incredibly happy with it. I also tried a scone- it was a little more of a muffin, it was really soft but still delicious. This looks like it would be a great go to coffee spot- plenty of sitting space both inside and outside right by the water, great views all around. Where to begin. The theme of this place has left me inspired, if not puzzled. What do pine trees have to do with coffee? Coffee is not manufactured by our PNW trees. Besides that, I was delighted that they removed from bagels from their menu. I don't care for bagels. As for the coffee itself? Try Simply Lemonade before going here. read more

I went to this coffee shop while at Western Washington University for family weekend. Walking into this coffee shop, I truly felt a small town feel with locals relaxing, students hitting the books and the employees helping each customer that came in. One of our coffees spilled (We knocked it over) moments after we received it and they replaced it for free, cleaned up our awful mess and said with a nice smile, no problem, these things happen to all of us. Loved the customer service and the coffee was great. read more

Fantastic coffee shop located at Boulevard Park. The coffee was fantastic- full of flavor, served at the right temperature and at a competitive price. If you've never been to Bellingham before, they say Boulevard Park is the place to go. And what better way to start your walk along the boardwalk than to grab a beverage at Woods Coffee? This place is the only business in the park and features a cozy interior, upstairs loft, and even a walkup window. When I was in college, this was a great spot for study sessions. There's even outdoor seating so you get up close and personal with the view. The bathroom is shared with the park on the outside. Drinks themselves aren't bad. I can't be too much of a judge because I don't drink coffee. I order a kid's hot chocolate, and they always put whipped cream and sprinkles on the exterior of the lid. The food dishes are a little on the pricey side, but still not too bad. Overall, great spot to visit while you're in Bellingham. read more

I love this Woods location! It is right on the water and has an amazing view. There is plenty of seating, making it the perfect place to bring a laptop and get some work done. They will serve you your drink in an actual ceramic cup if you are planning to drink it there. The service is also very good. The staff is friendly and and completely willing to customize a drink so you can have it just the way you want it. Today I ordered a small double shot cappuccino. I prefer a dry cappuccino, but I usually don't ask for one because I don't want to be a bother by customizing my drink too much. The barista asked me after I placed my order "and how would you like your cappuccino?" I have never had a barista ask if I wanted any customization on a drink without me prompting them. This is great service! read more

Such a beautiful spot to study and get a good coffee but unfortunately the bad, unwelcoming attitudes of the employees ruins the experience

This location is stunning! A patio right on the waterfront...what a great place to enjoy an Iced Latte with Caramel Drizzle on a warm summer day! Or come and read with a cup of coffee and any one of their tasty treats! We love their monster cookies...I noticed they had a "baby" version of the cookies which was nice because the other ones are HUGE! We just searched for the closet Woods from Fairhaven and our map brought us here! We had no idea it was going to be this great location! After enjoying our yummy drinks we walked along the waterfront...actually saw a guy that caught a baby shark...quite fascinating!
