If you're looking for floors, carpet or other services look elsewhere. I had my entire house outfitted with 100% waterproof SPC flooring. The product is high quality, the staff at California Renovation are unbelievably the worst. Around a year after the floors were installed, I noticed a big split at the joint pulling up as seen in picture two. Note, the damaged area has a large rug there 365 days of the year unless needed to clean. I called Cal Reno, they sent out there installation manager. He put a moisture tester to the floor, and said "yup, exactly as I expected. The floors are too wet and you're over mopping." Then proceeded to tell me I needed to use a special mop that I hand wring out to wash the floors. Information that was never provided if true. Then quoted me $600 to replace the four boards in that area. I honestly believed them, maybe I was over mopping. Then the floors started getting worse and in areas that have never been mopped. So I started doing my own research. I looked up the my warranty: 25yrs commercial - 50yrs residential. 100% waterproof. The warranty literally says you can spill water on the floor, leave it and it won't damage it. But clean it up in a timely matter to prevent mold. I called Cal Reno back six months later, the installation manager came back out and said the same thing. Proceeded to tell me I'm mopping too wet and I need a special mop. Long story short, I fought with Cal Reno and RCO for months. They refused to submit a claim to Republic flooring. During my research I found the manufacturer rescinded parts of the warranty. Now the floors are warrantied for 25yrs, half of what it was originally. It also mentioned Visqueen, a moisture barrier must be applied before setting the floors, which was never done. I later found out the manufacturer had changed their warranty 8 months after my floors were installed due to moisture issues and several customers, some of whom were Cal Reno or RCO customers had to have their floors replaced. Also, warranty makes no mention of a special mop. Finally, after a lengthy emails stating the facts, hours of research and second opinions, Cal Reno said they would replace the floors "at cost" and come out to measure. I simply replied no and kept fighting, almost needing to go to court. Finally I thought I won, that same installation manager came back out and said, "we are only going to replace the damaged sections, we want to go easy on the manufacturer." I was almost in shock. Whose side are you on? The bill goes to the manufacturer not you guys. I was fed up at this point, was willing to take whatever I could get and thanked him for fighting on my behalf to get the floors replaced. To my disgust he said, "no, we just forwarded your email to the manufacturer and they said yes." All said and done, the whole house was replaced with new floors that had under two years of wear. I went with this company because my neighbor also used them, and unbeknownst to me, they also had issues they fought for months with their carpet. This was after my contract was in place. The first and second pictures have rugs all year round except for cleaning. Last picture shows the mold and mildew after the floors were taken out. They even had to go back and fill in more cracks in the foundation, with lots of rework. Overall, the floors are great, warranty is(was) amazing, but this company sucks. Doesn't care about you, the hard earned money you spent and will not help you if you have issues. Go elsewhere.

Cindy worked with us to provided a straightforward, transparent, and competitive quote. From estimate to installation everything was seamless. As new homeowners undertaking a project such as this was stressful, but Premier and the install team did everything in their power to ensure we were comfortable and taken care of every step of the way. I want to give a special shoutout to Jamie, Jason and their boss Avary who took charge on our floor install. They are skilled, hard workers, with genuinely great attitudes. They were respectful of our home, answered all of our questions, and went above and beyond (such as installing new baseboard in our bathroom even though that was not part of the job.) I would 1000% use them again and will specifically request them when we move forward on recarpeting our bedrooms. I encourage anyone who is looking for new floors to check out Premier, and if you're lucky you'll get Avary, Jamie and Jason on your job.

I offered to pay extra labor to make sure it was done right. They dumped a couple bags of leveling compound in 1 day and set the floor. The cabinet guys later pointed out the floor was still out of level and I have dips here and there where there should have been more compound. I called Craig back to the house to look at it and he said there nothing they can do. That was their best work. Well I'm here to tell you they charged me over 4k for this and now I'm stuck with it, I hate it and if I could rip my floor out and dump it in their F*CKING lobby I would. I saved for YEARS for this project and they ruined it, I can't do it again. I'm screwed. DO NOT SHOP HERE.

When Ulysses arrived to provide an estimate, he brought additional samples, which we were delighted to see. The selection is simply gorgeous and amazing! Our living room had old, worn-out carpet, and the new hard floor complements the adjacent family room perfectly. One thing we wish we had known earlier was to cover our furniture and the rooms next door to prevent dust from circulating throughout the house. Ulysses's team, Rick and Francisco, were professional, punctual, and experts in their field. They truly deserve major kudos! I relax and enjoy my new living room. I highly recommend that others compare different companies, conduct thorough research, and consider patronizing a local business like All About Floors.

My wife decided to call Twin Cities Flooring. They sent out Tim to give us an estimate that day. Tim arrived on time. He was courteous and very knowledgeable about his products. Tim finished measuring for the new carpet and left. My wife had already called Twin Cities Flooring and discussed with Teresa the owner of the store what we wanted in a carpet. Teresa stated we will have samples ready when you get here. We went to the Twin Cities Flooring that day and were asked immediately if we needed any help by a polite woman. She introduced herself as Teresa. We told her that we had an appointment to view samples. Teresa took us to a table with the samples on it and showed us the carpets from low to high grade. We wanted a little change in the color so the Teresa went into the samples and brought out the color we were looking for Avalanche by Shaw. We knew it was a high grade carpet and it was worth it. The carpet was ordered and a week later installed. The crew that came to install the carpet was courteous and polite. They moved the heavy furniture and removed to old carpet. They filled the cracks so moisture and bugs couldn't come in on the concrete floor. They installed all new high grade padding and then measured the rooms for carpet. They installed the new carpet and vacuumed all the carpet before moving the furniture back into place. They cleaned up after themselves. The installation was a success. Our overall experience with Twin Cities Floor Covering was excellent. We would use them again for our Flooring needs and recommend them to anyone who needs any kind of Flooring.

We were impressed with Flavia's knowledge and professionalism when she came to review the project for the estimate. She asked questions to understand our needs and wants. She patiently listened and answers our questions. During the installation, Flavia came out a few times to ensure everything was going well. She also helped find just the right transition pieces to work with the existing flooring outside the baths. The installation was a two day process. It went very smoothly and was handled in a way that caused the least amount of disruption for us. Our installer was skilled and did a great job not only with the tile, but with new baseboard and a new toilet installation in one of the baths. He was great to work with. Flavia came out one last time after the installation to ensure everything was good and that we were happy with the result. Pro Floors' cost estimate was in the middle of the three estimates we received. But, our choice was based more on our experience during the initial visit than anything else. We were not disappointed.
