Locally owned--and top-notch service! We are so pleased with our new floors. Ulyses and his crew, Raul and Victor, were amazing from start to finish. The showroom had a vast selection, and Ulyses was incredibly helpful in guiding us through our options and helping us make the right choice. The crew was always on time, professional, and very attentive to detail. We are so happy we chose to visit their showroom rather than going with Lowe's or Home Depot. Take the time to look around and compare--you'll be glad you did! Your floors are a big part of showcasing your home, so choose a company that truly cares about the finished product. read more

Happy customer here! We thoroughly researched and compared other companies and their products before choosing All About Floors. When Ulysses arrived to provide an estimate, he brought additional samples, which we were delighted to see. The selection is simply gorgeous and amazing! Our living room had old, worn-out carpet, and the new hard floor complements the adjacent family room perfectly. One thing we wish we had known earlier was to cover our furniture and the rooms next door to prevent dust from circulating throughout the house. Ulysses's team, Rick and Francisco, were professional, punctual, and experts in their field. They truly deserve major kudos! I relax and enjoy my new living room. I highly recommend that others compare different companies, conduct thorough research, and consider patronizing a local business like All About Floors. read more

My mom and I came to All About Floors after shopping all around Solano County for new carpet. We looked at everything from the big-box retailers to several other local businesses, but Ulysses and his team stood out from the rest. This business came highly recommended to us, and after our experience, it is easy to see why they have such a stellar reputation. From the start, Ulysses was incredible. He helped us find a choice that met all our expectations for color, plushness, and ease of maintenance. He even allowed us to bring samples home to ensure they were exactly what we were looking for. His responsiveness was unbeatable; while other vendors (both big and local) said they'd check in "next week" for a measurement, Ulysses offered to be there in just a few hours! His character and professionalism really sold us on supporting his local business. After speaking with him about our circumstances, he offered a very competitive quote that we were happy to accept. Since they are local, you really feel that personal, residential touch. When the shipment arrived, they were quick to schedule an installation date that worked for my family. They moved our furniture and belongings with such care and finished the job with ease. We are so grateful for their help with our downstairs living space. It feels great to support a local family-run business that truly delivers better, more personal service than the "big guys." We look forward to working with them again for our upstairs! WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND ALL ABOUT FLOORS!!! read more

Couldn't say enough good about this company to do it justice. I contacted All About Floors for a small job, but mentioned it was an out of pocket project for a government organization. I hoped the price may be rounded down, instead they offered it free for its cause! Not to mention the owner answered the phone when I called. Very rare to find a local company around like this. I highly recommend and look forward to calling back to update my home. read more

Wow, All About Floors came thru for me in an emergency. I needed a 6ft by 3 ft piece of carpet padding. I went to the big box stores and found they only will sell an entire roll. I called five carpet places expecting to have to purchase a piece and AAF 1) actually answered the phone and 2) with no hesitation and without me explaining anything about why I needed it, offered to set a aside what I needed for pick up. Now THAT is customer service. When I picked up, the gentleman even carried it out to my car. I'm going to be replacing carpet very soon and I will 100% be doing business with All About Flooring. This is above and beyond. Thank you!!! read more

I love the variety of floor products. I found it very hard to choose with such a vast selection. Ulysses was very kind and helpful . I recommend this store. read more

We have used All About Floors and Ulysses for all of our flooring needs going to back to when he first opened his business. Ulysses gave us an honest quote and kept us updated on the whole process of ordering our floor materials and installation date. Ulysses was able to find a perfect match to our existing floors he previously installed several years earlier and his artist and main installer Raul, was able to blend the two floors together flawlessly with no seams or transition pieces. Raul is a true artist and he does a terrific job. The price was right, the quality of the material was top notch and Ulysses' installers did really nice work. We have used All About Floors for our sons house as well where he did a real nice job as well. We recommend anyone looking to install new floors to visit Ulysses at All About Floors located in downtown Vacaville. read more

We had our floors installed in 2020 using the WaterShield SPC Rigid Core with IXPE Premium Underlayment a product advertised as premium vinyl. By 2024, we began noticing significant issues: the flooring started chipping, peeling, and even separating, leaving noticeable gaps between the planks. We've taken good care of them cleaning them properly and following all the care instructions. Still, the damage showed up way too soon. We spent $13,000 expecting a long-lasting result, but that hasn't been the case. We contacted the company as soon as the problems began and were told it could be a product defect. They mentioned needing to submit a claim, but we've only received the runaround since then. Despite multiple follow-up calls including several from my husband we were eventually ignored altogether. The condition of the floors has only worsened, and it's frustrating to have such poor customer service after making a major investment. I would recommend looking elsewhere, or at the very least, ensuring you get a written warranty that covers your floors for more than just a couple of years. read more

After shopping around I stopped in All About Floors unsure of what I wanted. Ulysses took time to show me several options going over the features of each. I was able to take home samples on a couple of different occasions and he was able to work with my budget. The installers were fantastic and professional. This was an overall great experience and I would recommend them to anyone looking for carpet or flooring. read more

Can't say enough about Ulysses and his company. Amazing customer service and knowledgeable and expert advice when it came to helping us with our flooring. We went to several companies with different estimates. When Ulysses showed us the difference of high quality laminate flooring , he not only gave us the best advice on what we wanted with color and durability, he also beat all the estimates we had!!! That was enough to place our order with him. But, to top it all off, he also assisted us on delivering the products to our house. He actually took the bulk of the load on his own truck. What other company would do that and not ask for any monies for that service. Ulysses and his family own business went way beyond our expectations. I would gladly order from him again and again!! I would recommend anyone who needs flooring to really consider Ulysses. I will promote his family business to as many friends and family I know. Thanks a million Ulysses. We truly appreciate your true meaning of a family own business. read more

Ulyses was awesome! I walked into the store not really sure of what color flooring that I wanted. Ulyses was incredibly helpful, answered questions, and also provided some recommendations. I also appreciate his attention to detail and knowledge in general. When we made changes to the plans, he made adjustments to line up with our changes and everything just worked out so well. Raul did a fantastic job installing everything. He even called and asked if we had a preference for how the flooring was laid down and mentioned that in some houses it made a difference but in ours it wouldn't. He was totally right! We are so happy with our flooring and the service we received! The pricing was also competitive. You definitely get what you pay for. read more

Ulysses and his contractors were a pleasure to work with to replace our carpets. They were very communicative, flexible, and efficient. We are happy with the quality of their work. There doesn't appear to be any damage to our baseboards, walls, or furniture. They even placed some screws in our creaking stairs to quiet them a bit. I highly recommend them for your next carpet installation. read more

As we approached what we felt was the Herculean task of recarpeting our 2800sf home we started with "value for dollar" and the "Big Box Stores", Costco, Home Depot, and Lowes. When we moved into our home in 2012 we went with the Mohawk line through Costco. I built my spreadsheet and we commenced to populate it while comparing prices to what we paid 12 years ago. Our current customer service experience with Costco was the best, then Home Depot, and a distant third Lowes. After an unproductive visit to Lowes Vacaville, we decided to go for a frozen yogurt break and as we were finishing up our yogurt we decided to search for carpet "near me" and AllAboutFloors was just down the street. We walked into the "Showroom" and were greeted by the two owners, Ulyses and Tim. Ulyses Macay who primarily handles all their residential accounts spent time with us at the store and then came to our home with samples. With Ulyses' gentle guidance we selected two carpets and Ulyses quickly came back with his quotes, and to our delight his price was 60% less than Costco, 33% less than Home Depot, and 27% less than Lowes. In addition to the pricing, we felt very confident that there would be no changes/additional charges if we selected All About Floors, we signed and pre-paid 50% of the contract price to initiate the carpet purchase. I am a retired Civil Engineer and my father was a General Contractor, who did high end remodels and custom homes in Beverly Hills, West LA, and Palm Springs/Palm Desert. I worked with my father through my high school years and during the first few years of my young married life. I know quality work, skilled craftsman, and I am, for better or for worst a perfectionist. That being said I was VERY pleased with the two-man crew that installed our carpet, two pleasant mature men that worked together efficiently and flawlessly. Our main installer was from Cuba, Yoel, and he learned the carpet installation trade from his father. The end product met my high standards. My wife and I are so please that we "went local!" Highly recommend AllAboutFloors!!! read more

I originally was quoted $3300 from a big box competitor who also had a four week minimum lead time on installation. I was really hoping to get my carpet installed before I moved in. Ulysses came to my house with several samples and was able to get my carpet installed in two weeks and for a lower price! The carpet was also heavier weight and better quality! The crew was fast and they did a really nice job! My carpet is fabulous. I couldn't be happier. They were fast, efficient, great quality, and competitive pricing. I will 100% work with them again in the future for my flooring needs. Highly recommend. read more

When shopping for flooring it is in your best interest to go around a receive multiple quotes. All about floors was the final shop I visited for my floor renovation quote and I'm so glad I did! Ulyses the owner beat other local shops by a mile! What they were going to charge me $5.35 a square foot for product, pad, and install, Ulyses got it all done for $4 dollars flat. Literally the same carpet, and padding. Once we got the carpet type and color down, Ulyses came to our home for a free quote to make sure the numbers on the invoice were all correct based off the sq footage. From there install was done in the next 12 days. His install men were great fast, reliable and paid attention to detail as well as my parents requests during install! Again thank you Ulyses you made my folks very happy and I will use your services again for future projects! Best, Arvin read more

I am beyond satisfied with the quality of our floors. From the moment I walked in to the shop and spoke with Ulysses I had a positive experience. I did go to several other places but stuck with my gut feeling and hired All About Floors. The entire process was easy and I'm more than happy to support a local business. Raul and Jay were great, at our home every day at 830 and left at 5:00, never leaving any messes, easy to talk to and made sure we were 100% satisfied with their work every day. We had our entire 3400 sqft house done, it was a big project, and we LOVE it!! Thank you for your professionalism, timeliness, and positive attitudes. read more

The owner Ulysses and his son (whose name escapes me) did a FANTASTIC job of installing our luxury vinyl plank flooring in April 2021. Ulysses' son was beyond patient and courteous as my husband and I discussed color and brand. He and his dad were efficient, SO fast, and very easy to have in the house as they installed the floor. Cleanup was spotless and we could not be happier. Please go see them if you're looking for flooring! read more

In 2019 I started collecting bids to do the floors in my hours, and that is how I met Ulysses. At the time I decided to contract with him because he was on time, and he prepared the estimate as I asked him. Then the Covid happened and everything stopped till September of 2021, when I was ready to do the floors. I contacted him and we scheduled the work for October 18. He send two nice Gentleman to my house on October 18. I explained to them how important it is to finish the job on time, their skill was very impressive. (I am a retired General Contractor). Ulysses has the best price on flooring that I have found in the state of California. The professionalism from start to end is rare and he treated our project as if he were doing his own home. Warp speed quote. The showroom of the flooring exceeded my expectations. When I set out to find a company to hire to pull out a 30+ year old carpet and then to recommend the right type of flooring to put down as a replacement, Ulysses understood my concerns and addressed them before I even asked with his recommendation which turned out perfect. After installation costs added the total project was over 1000$ less than anyone else had quoted me for a better quality product. I don't know how he does it but thank you so much and will highly recommend this experience and company on your next project. read more

After going to many floor companies trying to match the flooring we already had, we decided to use All about Floors. They were very thorough, detail oriented, and cleaned up each evening before they left. I would highly recommend this company. read more

Hello Ulysess. Prior to sending your person back to do touch ups you were very dismissive and rude on the phone. Your worker was equally rude and it made me uncomfortable to have him in my home. Due to your response, I let things go and decided to follow up with a new contractor. As I noted in my review. You incorrectly stated that I had a $700 balance. That is not true and I can post the receipt paid here if you like. The baseboards are primed only. This has been confirmed by other contractors. I reached out to you via email recently and never received a response. The condition of the door casings (which I don't believe is as poor as you stated, because they were intact but needed fresh paint) has nothing to do with the overcut door jambs or unevenly cut flooring, or unfinished transitions. I paid a fair price, arranged in advance, and did not appreciate the way you did business, or the lack of customer service. Hence this review. read more

I have held off for some time to post a review! I didn't want to give them 3 stars but I feel that is fair! The communication was not good from the beginning and I felt that I should not move forward at that time, but went against my feelings only because my husband and I really liked the owner and staff in person! I do have to say they did fit us into their schedule which was huge for us and got the job done in two days! We had our two carpeted downstairs living spaces changed to laminate floors that we are very happy with. They connect to tile flooring so a laminate divider had to be placed. When installed they left blue painters tape to make sure the glue was able to do its thing and we left it for 3 days untouched due to being out of town. Shortly after removing the tape my husband noticed one area was loose, shortly after that he noticed the other area was loose. We contacted the company by phone and email. I talked to the owner twice and my husband also talked to him as well. We were given two dates and times and no one arrived. We have yet to hear any response by phone or email since. This was back in September! I was going to reach out one more time but decided not to...only because we have not been rude, unpleasant or unkind in any way. We have been very understanding and flexible and reaching out again makes me feel like I am annoying them! It's too bad! read more

I had a great experience with All About Floors. Their showroom has lots of options. I was able to take some samples home to consider. I ordered laminate (wood look) flooring.
