So by 435 he arrived he didn't have samples so we focused on measurements. He took very detailed measurements and advised he would provide a quote for just upstairs and both up and downstairs. He advised he would provide the measurements and quotes a couple of days later. The price was a couple hundred less than the guy I decided to go with. I only went with the other guy because of the delay in receiving the quote. I think they will do a great job if you decide to go with them.

This company is all sales and no service…read more After spending approximately $20,000 on new carpeting for my home, customer service completely disappeared once payment was made. Before the sale, the team was attentive and responsive. After installation? Silence. Immediately following installation, two interior doors began dragging on the brand-new carpet, a problem that should never occur after a professional installation. Although a technician was sent out to shave the doors, one door still drags, putting unnecessary wear and damage on a carpet I just paid a small fortune for. Worse, the primary bedroom door lock has not worked at all since installation and will no longer lock. This is a basic functionality issue and a clear quality failure. Despite three written emails and multiple phone calls, beginning December 16, 2025, there has been zero follow-up and zero resolution. As of January 10, 2026, these problems remain unresolved, despite repeated requests and more than enough time to address them. The lack of accountability, communication, and post-installation support is unacceptable--especially for a high-dollar project. If you're considering this company, be aware: they are responsive until they get your money, and then you are on your own. I regret choosing them and would not recommend them to anyone who expects follow-through.

Right after I submitted carpet replacement service request to Yelp platform, Mr. Kim called me immediately within 1~2 minutes and then quickly quoted on very reasonable price per the pictures I provided, based on which I quickly decided to move forward w/ American Carpet, and very soon Mr. Kim was on site to accurately evaluate the amount of work. Although he later found the actual work more than what I verbally described, he still kept the same pricing and meanwhile very nicely offering his help on a few other obvious tasks by significantly saving my time to find other contractors to help. At the end Mr. Kim and his team was able to finish all the promised work very professionally, including beautiful carpet finishing, seamless wall painting touch and smooth toilet replacement, etc; I strongly recommend Mr. Young Kim and his team.

Nice people but I couldn't figure out how they come up with that price. I came across this yelp reviews and took a chance. I figured can't possibly be any worse. Mr. Kim responded immediately and we made an appt for the next day. He had Manuel came to see what needed to be done and he said no problem. He even said he was available the next day which was crazy, because we still needed to move our stuff out of the rooms. Mr. Kim came back with such a reasonable price for the job. Before they came we moved what we can, left the big items like beds, sofa, piano, shelving and futon. They said no problem. The day of work Manuel came with another worker, they took off their shoes and right to work. He had estimated 4 hours and sure enough he was done around 4 hours. Mind you we moved 90% of the stuff from the carpeting. I am so glad to have found them. I hope they continue to be in business, if I need any carpeting job I'll definitely call them back.

We were impressed with Flavia's knowledge and professionalism when she came to review the project for the estimate. She asked questions to understand our needs and wants. She patiently listened and answers our questions. During the installation, Flavia came out a few times to ensure everything was going well. She also helped find just the right transition pieces to work with the existing flooring outside the baths. The installation was a two day process. It went very smoothly and was handled in a way that caused the least amount of disruption for us. Our installer was skilled and did a great job not only with the tile, but with new baseboard and a new toilet installation in one of the baths. He was great to work with. Flavia came out one last time after the installation to ensure everything was good and that we were happy with the result. Pro Floors' cost estimate was in the middle of the three estimates we received. But, our choice was based more on our experience during the initial visit than anything else. We were not disappointed. Everything was fine until we noticed the carpet in the bedroom had odd discoloration in big spots. We had an inspector look at it and he determined it was something to do with the warp or twist of the yarn in those spots. First Street Floors persistently harangued the carpet distributor until they sent a new roll of carpet to replace the bedroom carpet. They really went out of their way to make us happy.
